وَإِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى جَاعِلٌ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ خَلِيفَةً ۖ قَالُوٓا۟ أَتَجْعَلُ فِيهَا مَن يُفْسِدُ فِيهَا وَيَسْفِكُ ٱلدِّمَآءَ وَنَحْنُ نُسَبِّحُ بِحَمْدِكَ وَنُقَدِّسُ لَكَ ۖ قَالَ إِنِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿30﴾

And [mention, O Muhammad], when your Lord said to the angels, "Indeed, I will make upon the earth a successive authority." They said, "Will You place upon it one who causes corruption therein and sheds blood, while we declare Your praise and sanctify You?" Allah said, "Indeed, I know that which you do not know."

A vicegerentخَلِيفَةًI
They saidقَالُواF
Will you placeأَتَجْعَلُCBFINTG+Vأَis it? / did?+تَجْعَلُWill you place
In itفِيهَاCBHP+PRONATTفِيIn+هَاher / it / its
One whoمَنْI
Will spread corruptionيُفْسِدُF
In itفِيهَاCBHP+PRONATTفِيIn+هَاher / it / its
And will shedوَيَسْفِكُCBFCONJ+Vوَand+يَسْفِكُWill shed
[the] blood[s]الدِّمَاءَIالthe+دِمَاءَ[the] blood[s]
While weوَنَحْنُCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+نَحْنُWhile we
[we] glorify youنُسَبِّحُF
With your praisesبِحَمْدِكَCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+حَمْدِYour praises+كَyou / your
And we sanctifyوَنُقَدِّسُCBFCONJ+Vوَand+نُقَدِّسُWe sanctify
[to]لَكَCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+كَyou / your
He saidقَالَF
IndeedإِنِّيCBHACC+PRONATTإِIndeed+نيme
[i] knowأَعْلَمُF
WhatمَاI
NotلَاH
You knowتَعْلَمُونَF

وَعَلَّمَ ءَادَمَ ٱلْأَسْمَآءَ كُلَّهَا ثُمَّ عَرَضَهُمْ عَلَى ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ فَقَالَ أَنۢبِـُٔونِى بِأَسْمَآءِ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ ﴿31﴾

And He taught Adam the names - all of them. Then He showed them to the angels and said, "Inform Me of the names of these, if you are truthful."

He displayed themعَرَضَهُمْCBFV+PRONATTعَرَضَHe displayed+هُمْthem / their
ToعَلَىH
The angelsالْمَلَائِكَةِIالthe+مَلَائِكَةِAngels
Then he saidفَقَالَCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+قَالَHe said
InformأَنْبِئُونِيCBFV+PRONATTأَنْبِئُوInform+نِيme
Of the namesبِأَسْمَاءِCBIP+Nبِwith / in+أَسْمَاءِOf the names
Of theseهَؤُلَاءِI
IfإِنْH
You areكُنْتُمْF
TruthfulصَادِقِينَI

قَالُوا۟ سُبْحَٰنَكَ لَا عِلْمَ لَنَآ إِلَّا مَا عَلَّمْتَنَآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ﴿32﴾

They said, "Exalted are You; we have no knowledge except what You have taught us. Indeed, it is You who is the Knowing, the Wise."

ExceptإِلَّاHإِنْif=لَاnot
WhatمَاI
You have taught usعَلَّمْتَنَاCBFV+PRONATTعَلَّمْتَYou have taught+نَاus / our
Indeed youإِنَّكَCBHACC+PRONATTإِنَّIndeed+كَyou / your
YouأَنْتَI
Are the all knowingالْعَلِيمُIالthe+عَلِيمُAre the all knowing
The all wiseالْحَكِيمُIالthe+حَكِيمُAll wise

قَالَ يَٰٓـَٔادَمُ أَنۢبِئْهُم بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ ۖ فَلَمَّآ أَنۢبَأَهُم بِأَسْمَآئِهِمْ قَالَ أَلَمْ أَقُل لَّكُمْ إِنِّىٓ أَعْلَمُ غَيْبَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَأَعْلَمُ مَا تُبْدُونَ وَمَا كُنتُمْ تَكْتُمُونَ ﴿33﴾

He said, "O Adam, inform them of their names." And when he had informed them of their names, He said, "Did I not tell you that I know the unseen [aspects] of the heavens and the earth? And I know what you reveal and what you have concealed."

And whenفَلَمَّاCBICONJ+Tفَso / then+لَمَّاAnd when
He had informed themأَنْبَأَهُمْCBFV+PRONATTأَنْبَأَHe had informed+هُمْthem / their
Of their namesبِأَسْمَائِهِمْCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+أَسْمَائِOf their names+هِمْthem / their
He saidقَالَF
Did notأَلَمْCBHINTG+NEGأَis it? / did?+لَمْNot
I sayأَقُلْF
To youلَكُمْCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
Indeed iإِنِّيCBHACC+PRONATTإِIndeed i+نيme
[i] knowأَعْلَمُF
The unseenغَيْبَI
Of the heavensالسَّمَاوَاتِIالthe+سَمَوَاتِOf the heavens
And the earthوَالْأَرْضِCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+أَرْضِEarth
And i knowوَأَعْلَمُCBFCONJ+Vوَand+أَعْلَمُI know
WhatمَاI
You revealتُبْدُونَF
And whatوَمَاCBICONJ+RELوَand+مَاWhat
You [were]كُنْتُمْF
ConcealتَكْتُمُونَF

وَإِذْ قُلْنَا لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ ٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِءَادَمَ فَسَجَدُوٓا۟ إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ أَبَىٰ وَٱسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ ﴿34﴾

And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers.

To the angelsلِلْمَلَائِكَةِCBIP+Nلِلfor the+مَلَائِكَةِAngels
ProstrateاسْجُدُواF
To adamلِآدَمَCBIP+PNلِfor / to+آدَمَAdam
[so] they prostratedفَسَجَدُواCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+سَجَدُوا[so] they prostrated
ExceptإِلَّاHإِنْif=لَاnot
IbleesإِبْلِيسَI
He refusedأَبَىF
And was arrogantوَاسْتَكْبَرَCBFCONJ+Vوَand+اسْتَكْبَرَWas arrogant
And becameوَكَانَCBFCONJ+Vوَand+كَانَBecame
OfمِنَH
The disbelieversالْكَافِرِينَIالthe+كَافِرِينَDisbelievers

وَقُلْنَا يَٰٓـَٔادَمُ ٱسْكُنْ أَنتَ وَزَوْجُكَ ٱلْجَنَّةَ وَكُلَا مِنْهَا رَغَدًا حَيْثُ شِئْتُمَا وَلَا تَقْرَبَا هَٰذِهِ ٱلشَّجَرَةَ فَتَكُونَا مِنَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴿35﴾

And We said, "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat therefrom in [ease and] abundance from wherever you will. But do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers."

And your spouseوَزَوْجُكَCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+زَوْجُYour spouse+كَyou / your
In ParadiseالْجَنَّةَIالthe+جَنَّةَIn Paradise
And [you both] eatوَكُلَاCBFCONJ+Vوَand+كُلَا[you both] eat
From itمِنْهَاCBHP+PRONATTمِنْFrom+هَاher / it / its
FreelyرَغَدًاI
From whereverحَيْثُI
You [both] wishشِئْتُمَاF
But do notوَلَاCBHCONJ+PROوَand+لَاBut do not
[you two] approachتَقْرَبَاF
ThisهَذِهِI
[the] treeالشَّجَرَةَIالthe+شَجَرَةَ[the] tree
Lest you [both] beفَتَكُونَاCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+تَكُونَاLest you [both] be
OfمِنَH
The wrongdoersالظَّالِمِينَIالthe+ظَالِمِينَWrongdoers

فَأَزَلَّهُمَا ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ عَنْهَا فَأَخْرَجَهُمَا مِمَّا كَانَا فِيهِ ۖ وَقُلْنَا ٱهْبِطُوا۟ بَعْضُكُمْ لِبَعْضٍ عَدُوٌّ ۖ وَلَكُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ مُسْتَقَرٌّ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ ﴿36﴾

But Satan caused them to slip out of it and removed them from that [condition] in which they had been. And We said, "Go down, [all of you], as enemies to one another, and you will have upon the earth a place of settlement and provision for a time."

Then made [both of] them slipفَأَزَلَّهُمَاCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+أَزَلَّMade [both of] them slip+هُمَاthem two
The devilالشَّيْطَانُIالthe+شَيْطَانُDevil
From itعَنْهَاCBHP+PRONATTعَنْFrom+هَاher / it / its
And he got [both of] them outفَأَخْرَجَهُمَاCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+أَخْرَجَAnd he got [both of] them out+هُمَاthem two
From whatمِمَّاCBIP+RELمِنfrom / of=مَاwhat
They [both] wereكَانَاF
In [it]فِيهِCBHP+PRONATTفِيIn [it]+هِhim / his / it
And we saidوَقُلْنَاCBFCONJ+Vوَand+قُلْنَاWe said
Go down all of youاهْبِطُواF
Some of youبَعْضُكُمْCBIN+PRONATTبَعْضُSome of+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
To othersلِبَعْضٍCBIP+Nلِfor / to+بَعْضٍOthers
As enemyعَدُوٌّI
And for youوَلَكُمْCBHCONJ+P+PRONATTوَand+لَكُمْFor you
InفِيH
The earthالْأَرْضِIالthe+أَرْضِEarth
Is a dwelling placeمُسْتَقَرٌّI
And a provisionوَمَتَاعٌCBICONJ+Nوَand+مَتَاعٌA provision
ForإِلَىH
A periodحِينٍI

فَتَلَقَّىٰٓ ءَادَمُ مِن رَّبِّهِۦ كَلِمَٰتٍ فَتَابَ عَلَيْهِ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ﴿37﴾

Then Adam received from his Lord [some] words, and He accepted his repentance. Indeed, it is He who is the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.

His LordرَبِّهِCBIN+PRONATTرَبِّHis Lord+هِhim / his / it

So his Lord turnedفَتَابَCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+تَابَHis Lord turned
Towards himعَلَيْهِCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىTowards+هِhim / his / it
Indeed heإِنَّهُCBHACC+PRONATTإِنَّIndeed he+هُhim / his / it
HeهُوَI
Is the oft returning to mercyالتَّوَّابُIالthe+تَوَّابُIs the oft returning to mercy
The most MercifulالرَّحِيمُIالthe+رَحِيمُMost Merciful

قُلْنَا ٱهْبِطُوا۟ مِنْهَا جَمِيعًا ۖ فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُم مِّنِّى هُدًى فَمَن تَبِعَ هُدَاىَ فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ ﴿38﴾

We said, "Go down from it, all of you. And when guidance comes to you from Me, whoever follows My guidance - there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve.

And whenفَإِمَّاCBICONJ+CONDفَso / then+إِنْif=مَاever
Comes to youيَأْتِيَنَّكُمْCBFV+PRONATTيَأْتِيَComes to you+نَّemphasis+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
From meمِنِّيCBHP+PRONATTمِFrom+نِيme
GuidanceهُدًىI
Then whoeverفَمَنْCBICONJ+CONDفَso / then+مَنْWhoever
FollowsتَبِعَF
My guidanceهُدَايَCBIN+PRONATTهُدَاMy guidance+يَme / my
[then] noفَلَاCBHCONJ+NEGفَso / then+لَا[then] no
FearخَوْفٌI
Will be on themعَلَيْهِمْCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىWill be on+هِمْthem / their
And notوَلَاCBHCONJ+NEGوَand+لَاNot
TheyهُمْI
Will grieveيَحْزَنُونَF

وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ ﴿39﴾

And those who disbelieve and deny Our signs - those will be companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally."

Are the companionsأَصْحَابُI
Of the fireالنَّارِIالthe+نَارِOf the fire
TheyهُمْI
In itفِيهَاCBHP+PRONATTفِيIn+هَاher / it / its
Will abide foreverخَالِدُونَI
