About ILMHUB
ILMHUB.org was established by Ustadh Muhammad Arjan Ali to support the Ummah through clear English resources for learning the Arabic needed to understand the Quran, daily Salah, Hadith, and Islamic literature more generally.
The lessons and resources here are freely offered for the sake of Allah: no sign-up, no paywall, and no condition. The aim is simple: to help Muslims move from reciting the Quran to recognising more of its language and meaning, step by step.
Purpose and Goal of ILMHUB
Alhamdulillah, many Muslims learn to read Arabic from a very young age, while others begin as soon as they embrace Islam. Through this, Allah grants us the ability to recite the Quran, use Arabic in our daily Salah, and engage in daily recitations.
Yet many of us spend much of our lives relying only on translations of meaning or English tafsir to gain a deeper understanding of what we recite. These translations are a great blessing and benefit, but the Quran itself was revealed in Arabic. To build a deeper and more personal connection with the Words of Allah, we need a path into the language itself.
It is Allah who has made the Quran easy to understand, remember, and take lessons from. Learning Arabic to understand the Quran should therefore neither feel impossible nor be seen as too difficult. It is Allah who has made it easy, after all.
ILMHUB.org was established to support that desire through clear English teaching: to help Muslims learn the essential Arabic needed for understanding daily Salah, Quranic recitation, Hadith, and Islamic study, so that we can begin to appreciate the Quran in the language in which it was revealed.
What You'll Find on ILMHUB.org
Following the launch of the YouTube channel, many students wrote messages of support and requested notes, lesson materials, learning tools, and further guidance. This website was created in response to that need: a free place to share beneficial Islamic knowledge and support students on their journey of learning Quranic Arabic.
ILMHUB.org has been set up to gather the free resources connected to Ustadh Muhammad Arjan Ali's Quranic Arabic lessons in one place. This includes the YouTube lessons themselves, accompanying notes, tests and quizzes, model answers, and, where available, detailed lesson transcripts.
The aim is to make it easier for students to study the free courses in an organised way, without having to search across different platforms or lose track of supporting materials. As more courses are developed and released, they will be added here with their related notes and resources, inshaAllah.

ILMHUB Academy
ILMHUB Academy is available for students who wish to study in a more formal learning environment under the supervision of Ustadh Muhammad Arjan Ali.
The Academy is built on a structured learning management system designed to reflect the experience of live teaching, with direct teacher presence, interaction, organised lesson videos, notes, worksheets, practice sheets, quizzes, tests, model answers, progress tracking, and teacher support for students who want a guided academic study experience.
