One of the greatest forms of charity in Islam is sadaqah jariyah: a continuous charity whose benefit continues after a person has left this world. The Prophet ﷺ taught that when a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, and a righteous child who prays for them.
ILMHUB.org is built around spreading beneficial knowledge: helping Muslims learn the Arabic needed to understand the Quran, their Salah, and the words they recite every day through clear English resources. The Prophet ﷺ also said, "The best of you are those who learn the Quran and teach it."
Supporting this work is a way of taking part in that effort. Every lesson maintained, every note prepared, every quiz uploaded, every video shared, and every student helped may become a means of ongoing reward, by the permission of Allah.

Our Long-Term Learning Pathway
Our long-term goal is to build a complete learning pathway for Muslims who want to understand the Quran in Arabic through clear English teaching, beginning from the foundations and gradually progressing towards advanced Quranic Arabic.
The first stage is to support learners at the most basic level: recognising Arabic letters, reading with confidence, and quickly building familiarity with the Arabic words used every day in Salah, du'a, dhikr, and common Islamic expressions.
The next stage is the Language of Quran series: Book One, Book Two, and Book Three. These courses are designed to develop a learner's understanding of Quranic grammar, sentence structure, Nahw, Sarf, and the patterns needed to begin recognising how meaning is carried in the Quran.
Beyond that, the aim is to develop more advanced courses in Quranic Arabic, including detailed grammatical analysis of Quranic verses, selected Surahs, vocabulary studies, and deeper study of how Arabic works in the Quran.
As these courses and resources are developed, the intention is to make them freely available through YouTube and ILMHUB.org, along with supporting notes, worksheets, quizzes, model answers, transcripts, and other learning tools, inshaAllah.
