ILMHUB.org is a public library for the Ummah. The doors are open, nothing is locked, and you may use whatever you find — on your own, at your own pace, or alongside a teacher you already study with, wherever in the world you are.
Every lesson from the YouTube channel lives here — with the notes, the worksheets and the tests. Open to anyone, for as long as they need it.
The Academy is where the course begins. You follow Book One from its first lesson to its last, with everything you need in one place — organised, supervised and supported by your teacher — so you master each lesson and deepen your understanding of the Quran.
Arabic isn’t a maze — it’s a map of 3, 2, 6
One connected system: three types of word, two types of sentence, six essential phrases. It is the spine of every lesson we teach — in the library and in the Academy alike. It is a smaller and far more regular system than most people expect.
Three types of word
Every Arabic word belongs to one of three families: the ism, the fi‘l and the harf. Once you can tell them apart, you begin to see how a sentence holds together.
Two types of sentence
Arabic builds on just two structures — the nominal and the verbal. Every ayah of the Quran rests on one of them.
Six essential phrases
Six recurring ways that words join together to make meaning. Two of them appear at least once in almost every line of the Quran.
