لَّا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِن طَلَّقْتُمُ ٱلنِّسَآءَ مَا لَمْ تَمَسُّوهُنَّ أَوْ تَفْرِضُوا۟ لَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةً ۚ وَمَتِّعُوهُنَّ عَلَى ٱلْمُوسِعِ قَدَرُهُۥ وَعَلَى ٱلْمُقْتِرِ قَدَرُهُۥ مَتَٰعًۢا بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۖ حَقًّا عَلَى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ ﴿236﴾

There is no blame upon you if you divorce women you have not touched nor specified for them an obligation. But give them [a gift of] compensation - the wealthy according to his capability and the poor according to his capability - a provision according to what is acceptable, a duty upon the doers of good.

An obligation dowerفَرِيضَةًI
And make provision for themوَمَتِّعُوهُنَّCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTوَand+مَتِّعُوMake provision for+هُنَّthem / their (f.)
UponعَلَىH
The wealthyالْمُوسِعِIالthe+مُوسِعِWealthy
According to his meansقَدَرُهُCBIN+PRONATTقَدَرُAccording to his means+هُhim / his / it
And uponوَعَلَىCBHCONJ+Pوَand+عَلَىUpon
The poorالْمُقْتِرِIالthe+مُقْتِرِPoor
According to his meansقَدَرُهُCBIN+PRONATTقَدَرُAccording to his means+هُhim / his / it
A provisionمَتَاعًاI
In a fair mannerبِالْمَعْرُوفِCBIP+Nبِwith / in+الthe+مَعْرُوفِA fair manner
A dutyحَقًّاI
UponعَلَىH
The good doersالْمُحْسِنِينَIالthe+مُحْسِنِينَGood doers

وَإِن طَلَّقْتُمُوهُنَّ مِن قَبْلِ أَن تَمَسُّوهُنَّ وَقَدْ فَرَضْتُمْ لَهُنَّ فَرِيضَةً فَنِصْفُ مَا فَرَضْتُمْ إِلَّآ أَن يَعْفُونَ أَوْ يَعْفُوَا۟ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِۦ عُقْدَةُ ٱلنِّكَاحِ ۚ وَأَن تَعْفُوٓا۟ أَقْرَبُ لِلتَّقْوَىٰ ۚ وَلَا تَنسَوُا۟ ٱلْفَضْلَ بَيْنَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ ﴿237﴾

And if you divorce them before you have touched them and you have already specified for them an obligation, then [give] half of what you specified - unless they forego the right or the one in whose hand is the marriage contract foregoes it. And to forego it is nearer to righteousness. And do not forget graciousness between you. Indeed Allah, of whatever you do, is Seeing.

You have specifiedفَرَضْتُمْF
For themلَهُنَّCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+هُنَّthem / their (f.)
An obligation dowerفَرِيضَةًI
Then give halfفَنِصْفُCBICONJ+NUMفَso / then+نِصْفُGive half
Of whatمَاI
You have specifiedفَرَضْتُمْF
UnlessإِلَّاHإِنْif=لَاnot
[that]أَنْH
They women forgo itيَعْفُونَF
OrأَوْH
ForgoesيَعْفُوَF
The oneالَّذِيI
In whose handsبِيَدِهِCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+يَدِWhose hands+هِhim / his / it
Is the knotعُقْدَةُI
Of the marriageالنِّكَاحِIالthe+نِكَاحِOf the marriage
And thatوَأَنْCBHCONJ+SUBوَand+أَنْThat
You forgoتَعْفُواF
Is nearerأَقْرَبُI
To [the] righteousnessلِلتَّقْوَىCBIP+Nلِلfor the+تَقْوَى[the] righteousness
And do notوَلَاCBHCONJ+PROوَand+لَاDo not
ForgetتَنْسَوُاF
The graciousnessالْفَضْلَIالthe+فَضْلَGraciousness
Among youبَيْنَكُمْCBILOC+PRONATTبَيْنَAmong+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
IndeedإِنَّH
AllahاللَّهَI
Of whatبِمَاCBIP+RELبِwith / in+مَاOf what
You doتَعْمَلُونَF
Is all seerبَصِيرٌI

حَٰفِظُوا۟ عَلَى ٱلصَّلَوَٰتِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ٱلْوُسْطَىٰ وَقُومُوا۟ لِلَّهِ قَٰنِتِينَ ﴿238﴾

Maintain with care the [obligatory] prayers and [in particular] the middle prayer and stand before Allah, devoutly obedient.

Guard strictlyحَافِظُواF
[on]عَلَىH
The prayersالصَّلَوَاتِIالthe+صَلَوَاتِPrayers
And the prayerوَالصَّلَاةِCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+صَلَاةِPrayer
[the] middleالْوُسْطَىIالthe+وُسْطَى[the] middle
And stand upوَقُومُواCBFCONJ+Vوَand+قُومُواStand up
For AllahلِلَّهِCBIP+PNلِfor / to+اللَّهِAllah
Devoutly obedientقَانِتِينَI

فَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ فَرِجَالًا أَوْ رُكْبَانًا ۖ فَإِذَآ أَمِنتُمْ فَٱذْكُرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ كَمَا عَلَّمَكُم مَّا لَمْ تَكُونُوا۟ تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿239﴾

And if you fear [an enemy, then pray] on foot or riding. But when you are secure, then remember Allah [in prayer], as He has taught you that which you did not [previously] know.

Then pray on footفَرِجَالًاCBICONJ+Nفَso / then+رِجَالًاPray on foot
OrأَوْH
RidingرُكْبَانًاI
Then whenفَإِذَاCBICONJ+Tفَso / then+إِذَاWhen
You are secureأَمِنْتُمْF
Then rememberفَاذْكُرُواCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+اذْكُرُواRemember
AllahاللَّهَI
AsكَمَاCBHP+SUBكَlike+مَاas
He has taught youعَلَّمَكُمْCBFV+PRONATTعَلَّمَHe has taught+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
WhatمَاI
NotلَمْH
You wereتَكُونُواF
KnowingتَعْلَمُونَF

وَٱلَّذِينَ يُتَوَفَّوْنَ مِنكُمْ وَيَذَرُونَ أَزْوَٰجًا وَصِيَّةً لِّأَزْوَٰجِهِم مَّتَٰعًا إِلَى ٱلْحَوْلِ غَيْرَ إِخْرَاجٍ ۚ فَإِنْ خَرَجْنَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْكُمْ فِى مَا فَعَلْنَ فِىٓ أَنفُسِهِنَّ مِن مَّعْرُوفٍ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ ﴿240﴾

And those who are taken in death among you and leave wives behind - for their wives is a bequest: maintenance for one year without turning [them] out. But if they leave [of their own accord], then there is no blame upon you for what they do with themselves in an acceptable way. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.

Their wivesأَزْوَاجًاI
Should make a willوَصِيَّةًI
For their wivesلِأَزْوَاجِهِمْCBIP+N+PRONATTلِfor / to+أَزْوَاجِTheir wives+هِمْthem / their
ProvisionمَتَاعًاI
ForإِلَىH
The yearالْحَوْلِIالthe+حَوْلِYear
WithoutغَيْرَI
Driving them outإِخْرَاجٍI
But ifفَإِنْCBHCONJ+CONDفَso / then+إِنْBut if
They leaveخَرَجْنَF
Then noفَلَاCBHCONJ+NEGفَso / then+لَاNo
BlameجُنَاحَI
Upon youعَلَيْكُمْCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىUpon+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
InفِيH
WhatمَاI
They doفَعَلْنَF
ConcerningفِيH
ThemselvesأَنْفُسِهِنَّCBIN+PRONATTأَنْفُسِthemselves+هِنَّthem / their (f.)
[of]مِنْH
HonorablyمَعْرُوفٍI
And AllahوَاللَّهُCBICONJ+PNوَand+اللَّهُAllah
Is all mightyعَزِيزٌI
All wiseحَكِيمٌI

وَلِلْمُطَلَّقَٰتِ مَتَٰعٌۢ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ ۖ حَقًّا عَلَى ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ ﴿241﴾

And for divorced women is a provision according to what is acceptable - a duty upon the righteous.

كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ ﴿242﴾

Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you might use reason.
