يَٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتِىَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَنْعَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَأَنِّى فَضَّلْتُكُمْ عَلَى ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ﴿122﴾
O Children of Israel, remember My favor which I have bestowed upon you and that I preferred you over the worlds.

And fear a Day when no soul will suffice for another soul at all, and no compensation will be accepted from it, nor will any intercession benefit it, nor will they be aided.

And [mention, O Muhammad], when Abraham was tried by his Lord with commands and he fulfilled them. [Allah] said, "Indeed, I will make you a leader for the people." [Abraham] said, "And of my descendants?" [Allah] said, "My covenant does not include the wrongdoers."

← read from right to left1And whenوَإِذِwa-idhiCBICONJ+Tوَand+إِذْWhen 3AbrahamإِبْرَاهِيمَibrahimaI 4Hi s LordرَبُّهُrabbuhuCBIN+PRONATTرَبُّHi s Lord+هُhim / his / it 5With wordsبِكَلِمَاتٍbikalimatinCBIP+Nبِwith / in+كَلِمَاتٍWords 6And he fulfilled themفَأَتَمَّهُنَّfa-atammahunnaCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+أَتَمَّAnd he fulfilled+هُنَّthem / their (f.) 9Am the one to make youجَاعِلُكَja'ilukaCBIN+PRONATTجَاعِلُAm the one to make+كَyou / your 10For the mankindلِلنَّاسِlilnnasiCBIP+Nلِلfor the+نَاسِMankind 11A leaderإِمَامًاimamanI 13And fromوَمِنْwaminCBHCONJ+Pوَand+مِنْFrom 14My offspringذُرِّيَّتِيdhurriyyatiCBIN+PRONATTذُرِّيَّتِMy offspring+يme / my 18My covenantعَهْدِي'ahdiCBIN+PRONATTعَهْدِMy covenant+يme / my 19To the wrongdoersالظَّالِمِينَl-zaliminaIالthe+ظَالِمِينَTo the wrongdoers وَإِذْ جَعَلْنَا ٱلْبَيْتَ مَثَابَةً لِّلنَّاسِ وَأَمْنًا وَٱتَّخِذُوا۟ مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ مُصَلًّى ۖ وَعَهِدْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ إِبْرَٰهِۦمَ وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَ أَن طَهِّرَا بَيْتِىَ لِلطَّآئِفِينَ وَٱلْعَٰكِفِينَ وَٱلرُّكَّعِ ٱلسُّجُودِ ﴿125﴾
And [mention] when We made the House a place of return for the people and [a place of] security. And take, [O believers], from the standing place of Abraham a place of prayer. And We charged Abraham and Ishmael, [saying], "Purify My House for those who perform Tawaf and those who are staying [there] for worship and those who bow and prostrate [in prayer]."

← read from right to left1And whenوَإِذْwa-idhCBICONJ+Tوَand+إِذْWhen 2We madeجَعَلْنَاja'alnaF 3The houseالْبَيْتَl-baytaIالthe+بَيْتَHouse 4A place of returnمَثَابَةًmathabatanI 5For mankindلِلنَّاسِlilnnasiCBIP+Nلِلfor the+نَاسِMankind 6And a place o securityوَأَمْنًاwa-amnanCBICONJ+Nوَand+أَمْنًاA place o security 7And said takeوَاتَّخِذُواwa-ittakhidhuCBFCONJ+Vوَand+اتَّخِذُواSaid take 9The standing placeمَقَامِmaqamiI 10Of abrahamإِبْرَاهِيمَibrahimaI 11As a place of prayerمُصَلًّىmusallanI 12And we made a covenantوَعَهِدْنَاwa'ahidnaCBFCONJ+Vوَand+عَهِدْنَاWe made a covenant 14AbrahamإِبْرَاهِيمَibrahimaI 15And ishmaelوَإِسْمَاعِيلَwa-isma'ilaCBICONJ+PNوَand+إِسْمَاعِيلَIshmael 17[you both] purifyطَهِّرَاtahhiraF 18My houseبَيْتِيَbaytiyaCBIN+PRONATTبَيْتِMy house+يَme / my 19For those who circumambulateلِلطَّائِفِينَliltta'ifinaCBIP+Nلِلfor the+طَائِفِينَThose who circumambulate 20And those who seclude themselves for devotion and prayerوَالْعَاكِفِينَwal-'akifinaCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+عَاكِفِينَThose who seclude themselves for devotion and prayer 21And those who bow downوَالرُّكَّعِwal-ruka'iCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+رُكَّعِThose who bow down 22And those whoالسُّجُودِl-sujudiIالthe+سُجُودِAnd those who وَإِذْ قَالَ إِبْرَٰهِۦمُ رَبِّ ٱجْعَلْ هَٰذَا بَلَدًا ءَامِنًا وَٱرْزُقْ أَهْلَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ مَنْ ءَامَنَ مِنْهُم بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ ۖ قَالَ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَأُمَتِّعُهُۥ قَلِيلًا ثُمَّ أَضْطَرُّهُۥٓ إِلَىٰ عَذَابِ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ ﴿126﴾
And [mention] when Abraham said, "My Lord, make this a secure city and provide its people with fruits - whoever of them believes in Allah and the Last Day." [Allah] said. "And whoever disbelieves - I will grant him enjoyment for a little; then I will force him to the punishment of the Fire, and wretched is the destination."

And [mention] when Abraham was raising the foundations of the House and [with him] Ishmael, [saying], "Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing.

Our Lord, and make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.

Our Lord, and send among them a messenger from themselves who will recite to them Your verses and teach them the Book and wisdom and purify them. Indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise."
