يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱسْتَعِينُوا۟ بِٱلصَّبْرِ وَٱلصَّلَوٰةِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ ﴿153﴾

O you who have believed, seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient.

Word by word

O youيَاأَيُّهَاH
WhoالَّذِينَI
Believe[d]آمَنُواF
Seek helpاسْتَعِينُواF
Through patienceبِالصَّبْرِCBIP+Nبِwith / in+الthe+صَبْرِThrough patience
And the prayerوَالصَّلَاةِCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+صَلَاةِPrayer
IndeedإِنَّH
AllahاللَّهَI
Is withمَعَI
The patient onesالصَّابِرِينَIالthe+صَابِرِينَPatient ones

وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ لِمَن يُقْتَلُ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ أَمْوَٰتٌۢ ۚ بَلْ أَحْيَآءٌ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تَشْعُرُونَ ﴿154﴾

And do not say about those who are killed in the way of Allah, "They are dead." Rather, they are alive, but you perceive [it] not.

And do notوَلَاCBHCONJ+PROوَand+لَاDo not
SayتَقُولُواF
For the ones whoلِمَنْCBIP+RELلِfor / to+مَنْThe ones who
Are slainيُقْتَلُF
InفِيH
The wayسَبِيلِI
Of AllahاللَّهِI
They are deadأَمْوَاتٌI
NayبَلْH
They are aliveأَحْيَاءٌI
[and] butوَلَكِنْCBHCONJ+AMDوَand+لَكِنْ[and] but
You do notلَاH
PerceiveتَشْعُرُونَF

وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُم بِشَىْءٍ مِّنَ ٱلْخَوْفِ وَٱلْجُوعِ وَنَقْصٍ مِّنَ ٱلْأَمْوَٰلِ وَٱلْأَنفُسِ وَٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ ۗ وَبَشِّرِ ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ ﴿155﴾

And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient,

And surely we will test youوَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْCBFCONJ+LAM+V+PRONATTوَand+لَfor / to+نَبْلُوَSurely we will test you+نَّemphasis+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
With somethingبِشَيْءٍCBIP+Nبِwith / in+شَيْءٍSomething
OfمِنَH
[the] fearالْخَوْفِIالthe+خَوْفِ[the] fear
And [the] hungerوَالْجُوعِCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+جُوعِ[the] hunger
And lossوَنَقْصٍCBICONJ+Nوَand+نَقْصٍLoss
OfمِنَH
[the] wealthالْأَمْوَالِIالthe+أَمْوَالِ[the] wealth
And [the] livesوَالْأَنْفُسِCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+أَنْفُسِ[the] lives
And [the] fruitsوَالثَّمَرَاتِCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+ثَمَرَاتِ[the] fruits
But give good newsوَبَشِّرِCBFCONJ+Vوَand+بَشِّرْBut give good news
To the patient onesالصَّابِرِينَIالthe+صَابِرِينَTo the patient ones

ٱلَّذِينَ إِذَآ أَصَٰبَتْهُم مُّصِيبَةٌ قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّآ إِلَيْهِ رَٰجِعُونَ ﴿156﴾

Who, when disaster strikes them, say, "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return."

Those whoالَّذِينَI
WhenإِذَاI
Strikes themأَصَابَتْهُمْCBFV+PRONATTأَصَابَتْStrikes+هُمْthem / their
A misfortuneمُصِيبَةٌI
They sayقَالُواF
Indeed weإِنَّاCBHACC+PRONATTإِIndeed we+ناus / our
Belong to AllahلِلَّهِCBIP+PNلِfor / to+اللَّهِBelong to Allah
And indeed weوَإِنَّاCBHCONJ+ACC+PRONATTوَand+إِIndeed we+ناus / our
Towards himإِلَيْهِCBHP+PRONATTإِلَىTowards+هِhim / his / it
Will returnرَاجِعُونَI

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ صَلَوَٰتٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرَحْمَةٌ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُهْتَدُونَ ﴿157﴾

Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided.

ThoseأُولَئِكَI
On themعَلَيْهِمْCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىOn+هِمْthem / their
Are blessingsصَلَوَاتٌI
FromمِنْH
Their LordرَبِّهِمْCBIN+PRONATTرَبِّTheir Lord+هِمْthem / their
And mercyوَرَحْمَةٌCBICONJ+Nوَand+رَحْمَةٌMercy
And thoseوَأُولَئِكَCBICONJ+DEMوَand+أُولَئِكَThose
[they]هُمُI
Are the guided onesالْمُهْتَدُونَIالthe+مُهْتَدُونَAre the guided ones

إِنَّ ٱلصَّفَا وَٱلْمَرْوَةَ مِن شَعَآئِرِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ فَمَنْ حَجَّ ٱلْبَيْتَ أَوِ ٱعْتَمَرَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَن يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا ۚ وَمَن تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَاكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ ﴿158﴾

Indeed, as-Safa and al-Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. So whoever makes Hajj to the House or performs 'umrah - there is no blame upon him for walking between them. And whoever volunteers good - then indeed, Allah is appreciative and Knowing.

Performs hajjحَجَّF
Of the houseالْبَيْتَIالthe+بَيْتَOf the house
OrأَوِH
Performs umrahاعْتَمَرَF
So noفَلَاCBHCONJ+NEGفَso / then+لَاNo
BlameجُنَاحَI
On himعَلَيْهِCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىOn+هِhim / his / it
ThatأَنْH
He walksيَطَّوَّفَF
Between [both of] themبِهِمَاCBHP+PRONATTبِwith / in+هِمَاthem two
And whoeverوَمَنْCBICONJ+CONDوَand+مَنْWhoever
Voluntarily doesتَطَوَّعَF
GoodخَيْرًاI
Then indeedفَإِنَّCBHCONJ+ACCفَso / then+إِنَّIndeed
AllahاللَّهَI
Is all appreciativeشَاكِرٌI
All knowingعَلِيمٌI

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَكْتُمُونَ مَآ أَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ وَٱلْهُدَىٰ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا بَيَّنَّٰهُ لِلنَّاسِ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ ۙ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ يَلْعَنُهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَيَلْعَنُهُمُ ٱللَّٰعِنُونَ ﴿159﴾

Indeed, those who conceal what We sent down of clear proofs and guidance after We made it clear for the people in the Scripture - those are cursed by Allah and cursed by those who curse,

IndeedإِنَّH
Those whoالَّذِينَI
ConcealيَكْتُمُونَF
WhatمَاI
We revealedأَنْزَلْنَاF
OfمِنَH
The clear proofsالْبَيِّنَاتِIالthe+بَيِّنَاتِClear proofs
And the guidanceوَالْهُدَىCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+هُدَىGuidance
FromمِنْH
AfterبَعْدِI
[what]مَاH
We made clearبَيَّنَّاهُCBFV+PRONATTبَيَّنَّاWe made clear+هُhim / his / it
To the peopleلِلنَّاسِCBIP+Nلِلfor the+نَاسِPeople
InفِيH
The BookالْكِتَابِIالthe+كِتَابِBook
ThoseأُولَئِكَI
Curses themيَلْعَنُهُمُCBFV+PRONATTيَلْعَنُCurses+هُمُthem / their
AllahاللَّهُI
And curse themوَيَلْعَنُهُمُCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTوَand+يَلْعَنُCurse+هُمُthem / their
The ones who curseاللَّاعِنُونَIالthe+لَاعِنُونَOnes who curse

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ تَابُوا۟ وَأَصْلَحُوا۟ وَبَيَّنُوا۟ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَتُوبُ عَلَيْهِمْ ۚ وَأَنَا ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ﴿160﴾

Except for those who repent and correct themselves and make evident [what they concealed]. Those - I will accept their repentance, and I am the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.

ExceptإِلَّاHإِنْif=لَاnot
ThoseالَّذِينَI
Who repent[ed]تَابُواF
And reform[ed]وَأَصْلَحُواCBFCONJ+Vوَand+أَصْلَحُواReform[ed]
And openly declar[ed]وَبَيَّنُواCBFCONJ+Vوَand+بَيَّنُواOpenly declar[ed]
Then thoseفَأُولَئِكَCBICONJ+DEMفَso / then+أُولَئِكَThose
I will accept repentanceأَتُوبُF
From themعَلَيْهِمْCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىFrom+هِمْthem / their
And i amوَأَنَاCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+أَنَاI am
The acceptor of repentanceالتَّوَّابُIالthe+تَوَّابُAcceptor of repentance
The most MercifulالرَّحِيمُIالthe+رَحِيمُMost Merciful

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَمَاتُوا۟ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ عَلَيْهِمْ لَعْنَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ وَٱلنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ ﴿161﴾

Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers - upon them will be the curse of Allah and of the angels and the people, all together,

IndeedإِنَّH
Those whoالَّذِينَI
Disbelieve[d]كَفَرُواF
And die[d]وَمَاتُواCBFCONJ+Vوَand+مَاتُواDie[d]
While theyوَهُمْCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+هُمْWhile they
Were disbelieversكُفَّارٌI
ThoseأُولَئِكَI
On themعَلَيْهِمْCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىOn+هِمْthem / their
Is the curseلَعْنَةُI
Of AllahاللَّهِI
And the angelsوَالْمَلَائِكَةِCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+مَلَائِكَةِAngels
And the mankindوَالنَّاسِCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+نَاسِMankind
All togetherأَجْمَعِينَI

خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۖ لَا يُخَفَّفُ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابُ وَلَا هُمْ يُنظَرُونَ ﴿162﴾

Abiding eternally therein. The punishment will not be lightened for them, nor will they be reprieved.

Will abide foreverخَالِدِينَI
In itفِيهَاCBHP+PRONATTفِيIn+هَاher / it / its
NotلَاH
Will be lightenedيُخَفَّفُF
For themعَنْهُمُCBHP+PRONATTعَنْFor+هُمُthem / their
The punishmentالْعَذَابُIالthe+عَذَابُPunishment
And notوَلَاCBHCONJ+NEGوَand+لَاNot
TheyهُمْI
Will be reprievedيُنْظَرُونَF

وَإِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌ ۖ لَّآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ﴿163﴾

And your god is one God. There is no deity [worthy of worship] except Him, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
