وَإِلَىٰ عَادٍ أَخَاهُمْ هُودًا ۗ قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ مَا لَكُم مِّنْ إِلَٰهٍ غَيْرُهُۥٓ ۚ أَفَلَا تَتَّقُونَ ﴿65﴾

And to the 'Aad [We sent] their brother Hud. He said, "O my people, worship Allah; you have no deity other than Him. Then will you not fear Him?"

O my peopleيَاقَوْمِCBIVOC+NيَاO+قَوْمِMy people

WorshipاعْبُدُواF

AllahاللَّهَI

NotمَاH

For youلَكُمْCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+كُمْyou / your (pl.)

AnyمِنْH

GodإِلَهٍI

Other than himغَيْرُهُCBIN+PRONATTغَيْرُOther than+هُhim / his / it

Then will notأَفَلَاCBHINTG+CONJ+NEGأَis it? / did?+فَso / then+لَاWill not

You fear AllahتَتَّقُونَF

7:66

قَالَ ٱلْمَلَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن قَوْمِهِۦٓ إِنَّا لَنَرَىٰكَ فِى سَفَاهَةٍ وَإِنَّا لَنَظُنُّكَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ ﴿66﴾

Said the eminent ones who disbelieved among his people, "Indeed, we see you in foolishness, and indeed, we think you are of the liars."

The chiefsالْمَلَأُIالthe+مَلَأُChiefs

Of those whoالَّذِينَI

DisbelievedكَفَرُواF

FromمِنْH

Indeed weإِنَّاCBHACC+PRONATTإِIndeed we+ناus / our

Surely see youلَنَرَاكَCBFLAM+V+PRONATTلَfor / to+نَرَاSurely see+كَyou / your

InفِيH

FoolishnessسَفَاهَةٍI

And indeed weوَإِنَّاCBHCONJ+ACC+PRONATTوَand+إِIndeed we+ناus / our

[we] think youلَنَظُنُّكَCBFLAM+V+PRONATTلَfor / to+نَظُنُّ[we] think+كَyou / your

Are ofمِنَH

The liarsالْكَاذِبِينَIالthe+كَاذِبِينَLiars

7:67

قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ لَيْسَ بِى سَفَاهَةٌ وَلَٰكِنِّى رَسُولٌ مِّن رَّبِّ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ﴿67﴾

[Hud] said, "O my people, there is not foolishness in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds."

A MessengerرَسُولٌI

FromمِنْH

The LordرَبِّI

Of the worldsالْعَالَمِينَIالthe+عَالَمِينَOf the worlds

7:68

أُبَلِّغُكُمْ رِسَٰلَٰتِ رَبِّى وَأَنَا۠ لَكُمْ نَاصِحٌ أَمِينٌ ﴿68﴾

I convey to you the messages of my Lord, and I am to you a trustworthy adviser.

An adviserنَاصِحٌI

TrustworthyأَمِينٌI

7:69

أَوَعَجِبْتُمْ أَن جَآءَكُمْ ذِكْرٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ عَلَىٰ رَجُلٍ مِّنكُمْ لِيُنذِرَكُمْ ۚ وَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟ إِذْ جَعَلَكُمْ خُلَفَآءَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَزَادَكُمْ فِى ٱلْخَلْقِ بَصْۜطَةً ۖ فَٱذْكُرُوٓا۟ ءَالَآءَ ٱللَّهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ﴿69﴾

Then do you wonder that there has come to you a reminder from your Lord through a man from among you, that he may warn you? And remember when He made you successors after the people of Noah and increased you in stature extensively. So remember the favors of Allah that you might succeed.

A manمِنْكُمْCBHP+PRONATTمِنْA man+كُمْyou / your (pl.)

Among youلِيُنْذِرَكُمْCBFP+V+PRONATTلِfor / to+يُنْذِرَAmong+كُمْyou / your (pl.)

That he may warn youوَاذْكُرُواCBFCONJ+Vوَand+اذْكُرُواThat he may warn you

And rememberإِذْI

WhenجَعَلَكُمْCBFV+PRONATTجَعَلَWhen+كُمْyou / your (pl.)

He made youخُلَفَاءَI

SuccessorsمِنْH

AfterبَعْدِI

The peopleقَوْمِI

Of noahنُوحٍI

And increased youوَزَادَكُمْCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTوَand+زَادَIncreased+كُمْyou / your (pl.)

InفِيH

The statureالْخَلْقِIالthe+خَلْقِStature

ExtensivelyبَسْطَةًI

So rememberفَاذْكُرُواCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+اذْكُرُواRemember

The bountiesآلَاءَI

Of AllahاللَّهِI

So that you mayلَعَلَّكُمْCBHACC+PRONATTلَعَلَّSo that you may+كُمْyou / your (pl.)

SucceedتُفْلِحُونَF

7:70

قَالُوٓا۟ أَجِئْتَنَا لِنَعْبُدَ ٱللَّهَ وَحْدَهُۥ وَنَذَرَ مَا كَانَ يَعْبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا ۖ فَأْتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَ ﴿70﴾

They said, "Have you come to us that we should worship Allah alone and leave what our fathers have worshipped? Then bring us what you promise us, if you should be of the truthful."

WorshipيَعْبُدُF

Our forefathersآبَاؤُنَاCBIN+PRONATTآبَاؤُOur forefathers+نَاus / our

Then bring usفَأْتِنَاCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+ائْتِBring+نَاus / our

Of whatبِمَاCBIP+RELبِwith / in+مَاOf what

You promise usتَعِدُنَاCBFV+PRONATTتَعِدُYou promise+نَاus / our

IfإِنْH

You areكُنْتَF

OfمِنَH

The truthfulالصَّادِقِينَIالthe+صَادِقِينَTruthful

7:71

قَالَ قَدْ وَقَعَ عَلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ رِجْسٌ وَغَضَبٌ ۖ أَتُجَٰدِلُونَنِى فِىٓ أَسْمَآءٍ سَمَّيْتُمُوهَآ أَنتُمْ وَءَابَآؤُكُم مَّا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلْطَٰنٍ ۚ فَٱنتَظِرُوٓا۟ إِنِّى مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْمُنتَظِرِينَ ﴿71﴾

[Hud] said, "Already have defilement and anger fallen upon you from your Lord. Do you dispute with me concerning [mere] names you have named them, you and your fathers, for which Allah has not sent down any authority? Then wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait."

Do you dispute wأَتُجَادِلُونَنِيCBFINTG+V+PRONATTأَis it? / did?+تُجَادِلُونَYou dispute w+نِيme

ConcerningفِيH

NamesأَسْمَاءٍI

You have named themسَمَّيْتُمُوهَاCBFV+PRONATTسَمَّيْتُمُوYou have named+هَاher / it / its

YouأَنْتُمْI

And your forefathersوَآبَاؤُكُمْCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+آبَاؤُYour forefathers+كُمْyou / your (pl.)

Allah has not sent downمَاH

Allah has not sent downنَزَّلَF

Allah has not sent downاللَّهُI

For itبِهَاCBHP+PRONATTبِwith / in+هَاher / it / its

AnyمِنْH

AuthorityسُلْطَانٍI

Then waitفَانْتَظِرُواCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+انْتَظِرُواWait

Indeed i amإِنِّيCBHACC+PRONATTإِIndeed i am+نيme

With youمَعَكُمْI

OfمِنَH

The ones who waitالْمُنْتَظِرِينَIالthe+مُنْتَظِرِينَOnes who wait

7:72

فَأَنجَيْنَٰهُ وَٱلَّذِينَ مَعَهُۥ بِرَحْمَةٍ مِّنَّا وَقَطَعْنَا دَابِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا ۖ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿72﴾

So We saved him and those with him by mercy from Us. And We eliminated those who denied Our signs, and they were not [at all] believers.

And we cut offوَقَطَعْنَاCBFCONJ+Vوَand+قَطَعْنَاWe cut off

Of those whoالَّذِينَI

DeniedكَذَّبُواF

Our signsبِآيَاتِنَاCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+آيَاتِOur signs+نَاus / our

And they were notوَمَاCBHCONJ+NEGوَand+مَاThey were not

And they were notكَانُواF

BelieversمُؤْمِنِينَI
