يَٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ قَدْ أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكُمْ لِبَاسًا يُوَٰرِى سَوْءَٰتِكُمْ وَرِيشًا ۖ وَلِبَاسُ ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ خَيْرٌ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ مِنْ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ ﴿26﴾
O children of Adam, We have bestowed upon you clothing to conceal your private parts and as adornment. But the clothing of righteousness - that is best. That is from the signs of Allah that perhaps they will remember.

← read from right to left1O childrenيَابَنِيyabaniCBIVOC+NيَاO+بَChildren+نِيme 4We have sent downأَنْزَلْنَاanzalnaF 5To youعَلَيْكُمْ'alaykumCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىTo+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 6ClothingلِبَاسًاlibasanI 7It coversيُوَارِيyuwariF 8Your shameسَوْآتِكُمْsaw'atikumCBIN+PRONATTسَوْءَاتِYour shame+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 9And as an adornmentوَرِيشًاwarishanCBICONJ+Nوَand+رِيشًاAs an adornment 10But the clothingوَلِبَاسُwalibasuCBICONJ+Nوَand+لِبَاسُBut the clothing 11Of [the] righteousnessالتَّقْوَىl-taqwaIالthe+تَقْوَىOf [the] righteousness 16The signs of AllahآيَاتِayatiI 17The signs of Allahاللَّهِl-lahiI 18So that they mayلَعَلَّهُمْla'allahumCBHACC+PRONATTلَعَلَّSo that they may+هُمْthem / their 19RememberيَذَّكَّرُونَyadhakkarunaF يَٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ لَا يَفْتِنَنَّكُمُ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ كَمَآ أَخْرَجَ أَبَوَيْكُم مِّنَ ٱلْجَنَّةِ يَنزِعُ عَنْهُمَا لِبَاسَهُمَا لِيُرِيَهُمَا سَوْءَٰتِهِمَآ ۗ إِنَّهُۥ يَرَىٰكُمْ هُوَ وَقَبِيلُهُۥ مِنْ حَيْثُ لَا تَرَوْنَهُمْ ۗ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ أَوْلِيَآءَ لِلَّذِينَ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿27﴾
O children of Adam, let not Satan tempt you as he removed your parents from Paradise, stripping them of their clothing to show them their private parts. Indeed, he sees you, he and his tribe, from where you do not see them. Indeed, We have made the devils allies to those who do not believe.

← read from right to left1O childrenيَابَنِيyabaniCBIVOC+NيَاO+بَChildren+نِيme 4Tempt youيَفْتِنَنَّكُمُyaftinannakumuCBFV+PRONATTيَفْتِنَTempt you+نَّemphasis+كُمُyou / your (pl.) 5[the] devilالشَّيْطَانُl-shaytanuIالthe+شَيْطَانُ[the] devil 7He drove outأَخْرَجَakhrajaF 8Your parentsأَبَوَيْكُمْabawaykumCBIN+PRONATTأَبَوَيْYour parents+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 10Paradiseالْجَنَّةِl-janatiIالthe+جَنَّةِParadise 11Strippingيَنْزِعُyanzi'uF 12From both of themعَنْهُمَا'anhumaCBHP+PRONATTعَنْFrom both of+هُمَاthem two 13Their clothingلِبَاسَهُمَاlibasahumaCBIN+PRONATTلِبَاسَTheir clothing+هُمَاthem two 14To show both of themلِيُرِيَهُمَاliyuriyahumaCBFP+V+PRONATTلِfor / to+يُرِيَShow both of+هُمَاthem two 15Their shameسَوْآتِهِمَاsaw'atihimaCBIN+PRONATTسَوْءَاتِTheir shame+هِمَاthem two 16Indeed heإِنَّهُinnahuCBHACC+PRONATTإِنَّIndeed he+هُhim / his / it 17Sees youيَرَاكُمْyarakumCBFV+PRONATTيَرَاSees+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 19And his tribeوَقَبِيلُهُwaqabiluhuCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+قَبِيلُHis tribe+هُhim / his / it 23You see themتَرَوْنَهُمْtarawnahumCBFV+PRONATTتَرَوْنَYou see+هُمْthem / their 25We have madeجَعَلْنَاja'alnaF 26The devilsالشَّيَاطِينَl-shayatinaIالthe+شَيَاطِينَDevils 27Friendsأَوْلِيَاءَawliya'aI 28Of those whoلِلَّذِينَlilladhinaCBIP+RELلِfor / to+الَّذِينَOf those who 30Believeيُؤْمِنُونَyu'minunaF وَإِذَا فَعَلُوا۟ فَٰحِشَةً قَالُوا۟ وَجَدْنَا عَلَيْهَآ ءَابَآءَنَا وَٱللَّهُ أَمَرَنَا بِهَا ۗ قُلْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَأْمُرُ بِٱلْفَحْشَآءِ ۖ أَتَقُولُونَ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿28﴾
And when they commit an immorality, they say, "We found our fathers doing it, and Allah has ordered us to do it." Say, "Indeed, Allah does not order immorality. Do you say about Allah that which you do not know?"

← read from right to left1And whenوَإِذَاwa-idhaCBICONJ+Tوَand+إِذَاWhen 3ImmoralityفَاحِشَةًfahishatanI 5We foundوَجَدْنَاwajadnaF 6On itعَلَيْهَا'alayhaCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىOn+هَاher / it / its 7Our forefathersآبَاءَنَاaba'anaCBIN+PRONATTآبَاءَOur forefathers+نَاus / our 8And Allahوَاللَّهُwal-lahuCBICONJ+PNوَand+اللَّهُAllah 9Has ordered usأَمَرَنَاamaranaCBFV+PRONATTأَمَرَHas ordered+نَاus / our 10Of itبِهَاbihaCBHP+PRONATTبِwith / in+هَاher / it / its 16Immoralityبِالْفَحْشَاءِbil-fahsha'iCBIP+Nبِwith / in+الthe+فَحْشَاءِImmorality 17Do you sayأَتَقُولُونَataqulunaCBFINTG+Vأَis it? / did?+تَقُولُونَYou say 22You do not knowتَعْلَمُونَta'lamunaF قُلْ أَمَرَ رَبِّى بِٱلْقِسْطِ ۖ وَأَقِيمُوا۟ وُجُوهَكُمْ عِندَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍ وَٱدْعُوهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ ٱلدِّينَ ۚ كَمَا بَدَأَكُمْ تَعُودُونَ ﴿29﴾
Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord has ordered justice and that you maintain yourselves [in worship of Him] at every place [or time] of prostration, and invoke Him, sincere to Him in religion." Just as He originated you, you will return [to life] -

A group [of you] He guided, and a group deserved [to be in] error. Indeed, they had taken the devils as allies instead of Allah while they thought that they were guided.

O children of Adam, take your adornment at every masjid, and eat and drink, but be not excessive. Indeed, He likes not those who commit excess.
