ٱلرِّجَالُ قَوَّٰمُونَ عَلَى ٱلنِّسَآءِ بِمَا فَضَّلَ ٱللَّهُ بَعْضَهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ وَبِمَآ أَنفَقُوا۟ مِنْ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ ۚ فَٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتُ قَٰنِتَٰتٌ حَٰفِظَٰتٌ لِّلْغَيْبِ بِمَا حَفِظَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ وَٱلَّٰتِى تَخَافُونَ نُشُوزَهُنَّ فَعِظُوهُنَّ وَٱهْجُرُوهُنَّ فِى ٱلْمَضَاجِعِ وَٱضْرِبُوهُنَّ ۖ فَإِنْ أَطَعْنَكُمْ فَلَا تَبْغُوا۟ عَلَيْهِنَّ سَبِيلًا ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيًّا كَبِيرًا ﴿34﴾
Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth. So righteous women are devoutly obedient, guarding in [the husband's] absence what Allah would have them guard. But those [wives] from whom you fear arrogance - [first] advise them; [then if they persist], forsake them in bed; and [finally], strike them. But if they obey you [once more], seek no means against them. Indeed, Allah is ever Exalted and Grand.

← read from right to left1[the] menالرِّجَالُal-rijaluIالthe+رِجَالُ[the] men 2Are protectorsقَوَّامُونَqawwamunaI 4The womenالنِّسَاءِl-nisa'iIالthe+نِسَاءِWomen 5BecauseبِمَاbimaCBIP+RELبِwith / in+مَاBecause 6Allah has bestowedفَضَّلَfaddalaF 7Allah has bestowedاللَّهُl-lahuI 8Some of themبَعْضَهُمْba'dahumCBIN+PRONATTبَعْضَSome of+هُمْthem / their 11And becauseوَبِمَاwabimaCBICONJ+P+RELوَand+بِwith / in+مَاBecause 12They spendأَنْفَقُواanfaquF 14Their wealthأَمْوَالِهِمْamwalihimCBIN+PRONATTأَمْوَالِTheir wealth+هِمْthem / their 15So the righteous womenفَالصَّالِحَاتُfal-salihatuCBICONJ+Nفَso / then+الthe+صَالِحَاتُRighteous women 16Are obedientقَانِتَاتٌqanitatunI 17GuardingحَافِظَاتٌhafizatunI 18In the unseenلِلْغَيْبِlilghaybiCBIP+Nلِلfor the+غَيْبِIn the unseen 19That whichبِمَاbimaCBIP+RELبِwith / in+مَاThat which 20Allah orders them to guardحَفِظَhafizaF 21Allah orders them to guardاللَّهُl-lahuI 22And those from whomوَاللَّاتِيwa-allatiCBICONJ+RELوَand+اللَّاتِيThose from whom 23You fearتَخَافُونَtakhafunaF 24Their ill conductنُشُوزَهُنَّnushuzahunnaCBIN+PRONATTنُشُوزَTheir ill conduct+هُنَّthem / their (f.) 25Then advise themفَعِظُوهُنَّfa'izuhunnaCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+عِظُوAdvise+هُنَّthem / their (f.) 26And forsake themوَاهْجُرُوهُنَّwa-uhjuruhunnaCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTوَand+اهْجُرُوForsake+هُنَّthem / their (f.) 28The bedالْمَضَاجِعِl-madaji'iIالthe+مَضَاجِعِBed 29And set forth toوَاضْرِبُوهُنَّwa-idribuhunnaCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTوَand+اضْرِبُوSet forth to+هُنَّthem / their (f.) 31They obey youأَطَعْنَكُمْata'nakumCBFV+PRONATTأَطَعْنَThey obey+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 32Then do notفَلَاfalaCBHCONJ+PROفَso / then+لَاDo not 34Against themعَلَيْهِنَّ'alayhinnaCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىAgainst+هِنَّthem / their (f.) 39Most highعَلِيًّا'aliyyanI 40Most greatكَبِيرًاkabiranI وَإِنْ خِفْتُمْ شِقَاقَ بَيْنِهِمَا فَٱبْعَثُوا۟ حَكَمًا مِّنْ أَهْلِهِۦ وَحَكَمًا مِّنْ أَهْلِهَآ إِن يُرِيدَآ إِصْلَٰحًا يُوَفِّقِ ٱللَّهُ بَيْنَهُمَآ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا خَبِيرًا ﴿35﴾
And if you fear dissension between the two, send an arbitrator from his people and an arbitrator from her people. If they both desire reconciliation, Allah will cause it between them. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Acquainted [with all things].

← read from right to left2You fearخِفْتُمْkhiftumF 3A dissensionشِقَاقَshiqaqaI 4Between the two ofبَيْنِهِمَاbaynihimaCBIN+PRONATTبَيْنِBetween the two of+هِمَاthem two 5Then sendفَابْعَثُواfa-ib'athuCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+ابْعَثُواSend 6An arbitratorحَكَمًاhakamanI 8His familyأَهْلِهِahlihiCBIN+PRONATTأَهْلِHis family+هِhim / his / it 9And an arbitratorوَحَكَمًاwahakamanCBICONJ+Nوَand+حَكَمًاAn arbitrator 11Her familyأَهْلِهَاahlihaCBIN+PRONATTأَهْلِHer family+هَاher / it / its 13They both wishيُرِيدَاyuridaF 14ReconciliationإِصْلَاحًاislahanI 15Allah will cause reconciliationيُوَفِّقِyuwaffiqiF 16Allah will cause reconciliationاللَّهُl-lahuI 17Between both of themبَيْنَهُمَاbaynahumaCBILOC+PRONATTبَيْنَBetween both of+هُمَاthem two 21All knowerعَلِيمًا'alimanI 22All awareخَبِيرًاkhabiranI وَٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُشْرِكُوا۟ بِهِۦ شَيْـًٔا ۖ وَبِٱلْوَٰلِدَيْنِ إِحْسَٰنًا وَبِذِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰ وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينِ وَٱلْجَارِ ذِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَٱلْجَارِ ٱلْجُنُبِ وَٱلصَّاحِبِ بِٱلْجَنۢبِ وَٱبْنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَمَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَٰنُكُمْ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ مَن كَانَ مُخْتَالًا فَخُورًا ﴿36﴾
Worship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away, the companion at your side, the traveler, and those whom your right hands possess. Indeed, Allah does not like those who are self-deluding and boastful.

← read from right to left1And worshipوَاعْبُدُواwa-u'buduCBFCONJ+Vوَand+اعْبُدُواWorship 4AssociateتُشْرِكُواtushrikuF 5With himبِهِbihiCBHP+PRONATTبِwith / in+هِhim / his / it 7And to theوَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِwabil-walidayniCBICONJ+P+Nوَand+بِwith / in+الthe+وَالِدَيْنِTo the 8Do goodإِحْسَانًاihsananI 9And with the relativesوَبِذِيwabidhiCBICONJ+P+Nوَand+بِwith / in+ذِيThe relatives 10And with the relativesالْقُرْبَىl-qurbaIالthe+قُرْبَىAnd with the relatives 11And the orphansوَالْيَتَامَىwal-yatamaCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+يَتَامَىOrphans 12And the needyوَالْمَسَاكِينِwal-masakiniCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+مَسَاكِينِNeedy 13And the neighborوَالْجَارِwal-jariCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+جَارِNeighbor 15Who is nearالْقُرْبَىl-qurbaIالthe+قُرْبَىWho is near 16And the neighborوَالْجَارِwal-jariCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+جَارِNeighbor 17Who is farther awayالْجُنُبِl-junubiIالthe+جُنُبِWho is farther away 18And the companionوَالصَّاحِبِwal-sahibiCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+صَاحِبِCompanion 19By your sideبِالْجَنْبِbil-janbiCBIP+Nبِwith / in+الthe+جَنْبِYour side 20And the travelerوَابْنِwa-ibniCBICONJ+Nوَand+ابْنِThe traveler 21And the travelerالسَّبِيلِl-sabiliIالthe+سَبِيلِAnd the traveler 23Possess[ed]مَلَكَتْmalakatF 24Your right handsأَيْمَانُكُمْaymanukumCBIN+PRONATTأَيْمَانُYour right hands+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 31[a] proudمُخْتَالًاmukhtalanI 32And [a] boastfulفَخُورًاfakhuranI ٱلَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ وَيَأْمُرُونَ ٱلنَّاسَ بِٱلْبُخْلِ وَيَكْتُمُونَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمُ ٱللَّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ ۗ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابًا مُّهِينًا ﴿37﴾
Who are stingy and enjoin upon [other] people stinginess and conceal what Allah has given them of His bounty - and We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating punishment -

← read from right to left1Those whoالَّذِينَalladhinaI 2Are stingyيَبْخَلُونَyabkhalunaF 3And orderوَيَأْمُرُونَwaya'murunaCBFCONJ+Vوَand+يَأْمُرُونَOrder 4The peopleالنَّاسَl-nasaIالthe+نَاسَPeople 5[of] stinginessبِالْبُخْلِbil-bukhliCBIP+Nبِwith / in+الthe+بُخْلِ[of] stinginess 6And hideوَيَكْتُمُونَwayaktumunaCBFCONJ+Vوَand+يَكْتُمُونَHide 8Allah has given themآتَاهُمُatahumuCBFV+PRONATTآتَاAllah has given+هُمُthem / their 9Allah has given themاللَّهُl-lahuI 11His bountyفَضْلِهِfadlihiCBIN+PRONATTفَضْلِHis bounty+هِhim / his / it 12And we have preparedوَأَعْتَدْنَاwa-a'tadnaCBFCONJ+Vوَand+أَعْتَدْنَاWe have prepared 13For the disbelieversلِلْكَافِرِينَlilkafirinaCBIP+Nلِلfor the+كَافِرِينَDisbelievers 14A punishmentعَذَابًا'adhabanI 15HumiliatingمُهِينًاmuhinanI وَٱلَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَٰلَهُمْ رِئَآءَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلَا يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱللَّهِ وَلَا بِٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ ۗ وَمَن يَكُنِ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ لَهُۥ قَرِينًا فَسَآءَ قَرِينًا ﴿38﴾
And [also] those who spend of their wealth to be seen by the people and believe not in Allah nor in the Last Day. And he to whom Satan is a companion - then evil is he as a companion.

And what [harm would come] upon them if they believed in Allah and the Last Day and spent out of what Allah provided for them? And Allah is ever, about them, Knowing.

Indeed, Allah does not do injustice, [even] as much as an atom's weight; while if there is a good deed, He multiplies it and gives from Himself a great reward.

So how [will it be] when We bring from every nation a witness and we bring you, [O Muhammad] against these [people] as a witness?

That Day, those who disbelieved and disobeyed the Messenger will wish they could be covered by the earth. And they will not conceal from Allah a [single] statement.
