وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ أَن يَقْتُلَ مُؤْمِنًا إِلَّا خَطَـًٔا ۚ وَمَن قَتَلَ مُؤْمِنًا خَطَـًٔا فَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُّؤْمِنَةٍ وَدِيَةٌ مُّسَلَّمَةٌ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦٓ إِلَّآ أَن يَصَّدَّقُوا۟ ۚ فَإِن كَانَ مِن قَوْمٍ عَدُوٍّ لَّكُمْ وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ فَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُّؤْمِنَةٍ ۖ وَإِن كَانَ مِن قَوْمٍۭ بَيْنَكُمْ وَبَيْنَهُم مِّيثَٰقٌ فَدِيَةٌ مُّسَلَّمَةٌ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ وَتَحْرِيرُ رَقَبَةٍ مُّؤْمِنَةٍ ۖ فَمَن لَّمْ يَجِدْ فَصِيَامُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ تَوْبَةً مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا ﴿92﴾

And never is it for a believer to kill a believer except by mistake. And whoever kills a believer by mistake - then the freeing of a believing slave and a compensation payment presented to the deceased's family [is required] unless they give [up their right as] charity. But if the deceased was from a people at war with you and he was a believer - then [only] the freeing of a believing slave; and if he was from a people with whom you have a treaty - then a compensation payment presented to his family and the freeing of a believing slave. And whoever does not find [one or cannot afford to buy one] - then [instead], a fast for two months consecutively, [seeking] acceptance of repentance from Allah. And Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.

By mistakeخَطَأًI

And whoeverوَمَنْCBICONJ+CONDوَand+مَنْWhoever

KilledقَتَلَF

A believerمُؤْمِنًاI

By mistakeخَطَأًI

Then freeingفَتَحْرِيرُCBICONJ+Nفَso / then+تَحْرِيرُFreeing

Of a believing slaveرَقَبَةٍI

Of a believing slaveمُؤْمِنَةٍI

And blood moneyوَدِيَةٌCBICONJ+Nوَand+دِيَةٌBlood money

Is to be paidمُسَلَّمَةٌI

ToإِلَىH

His familyأَهْلِهِCBIN+PRONATTأَهْلِHis family+هِhim / his / it

UnlessإِلَّاHإِنْif=لَاnot

ThatأَنْH

They remit as charityيَصَّدَّقُواF

But ifفَإِنْCBHCONJ+CONDفَso / then+إِنْBut if

He wasكَانَF

FromمِنْH

A peopleقَوْمٍI

HostileعَدُوٍّI

To youلَكُمْCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+كُمْyou / your (pl.)

And he wasوَهُوَCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+هُوَHe was

A believerمُؤْمِنٌI

Then freeingفَتَحْرِيرُCBICONJ+Nفَso / then+تَحْرِيرُFreeing

Of a believing slaveرَقَبَةٍI

Of a believing slaveمُؤْمِنَةٍI

And ifوَإِنْCBHCONJ+CONDوَand+إِنْIf

He wasكَانَF

FromمِنْH

A peopleقَوْمٍI

Between youبَيْنَكُمْCBILOC+PRONATTبَيْنَBetween+كُمْyou / your (pl.)

And between themوَبَيْنَهُمْCBICONJ+LOC+PRONATTوَand+بَيْنَBetween+هُمْthem / their

Is a treatyمِيثَاقٌI

Then blood moneyفَدِيَةٌCBICONJ+Nفَso / then+دِيَةٌBlood money

Is to be paidمُسَلَّمَةٌI

ToإِلَىH

His familyأَهْلِهِCBIN+PRONATTأَهْلِHis family+هِhim / his / it

And freeingوَتَحْرِيرُCBICONJ+Nوَand+تَحْرِيرُFreeing

Of a believing slaveرَقَبَةٍI

Of a believing slaveمُؤْمِنَةٍI

And whoeverفَمَنْCBICONJ+CONDفَso / then+مَنْAnd whoever

Does notلَمْH

FindيَجِدْF

Then fastingفَصِيَامُCBICONJ+Nفَso / then+صِيَامُFasting

For two monthsشَهْرَيْنِI

ConsecutivelyمُتَتَابِعَيْنِI

Seeking repentanceتَوْبَةًI

FromمِنَH

AllahاللَّهِI

And Allah isوَكَانَCBFCONJ+Vوَand+كَانَAllah is

And Allah isاللَّهُI

All knowingعَلِيمًاI

All wiseحَكِيمًاI

4:93

وَمَن يَقْتُلْ مُؤْمِنًا مُّتَعَمِّدًا فَجَزَآؤُهُۥ جَهَنَّمُ خَٰلِدًا فِيهَا وَغَضِبَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَلَعَنَهُۥ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُۥ عَذَابًا عَظِيمًا ﴿93﴾

But whoever kills a believer intentionally - his recompense is Hell, wherein he will abide eternally, and Allah has become angry with him and has cursed him and has prepared for him a great punishment.

Is HellجَهَنَّمُI

Abiding in it foreverخَالِدًاI

Abiding in it foreverفِيهَاCBHP+PRONATTفِيAbiding in it forever+هَاher / it / its

And Allahs wrath will fallوَغَضِبَCBFCONJ+Vوَand+غَضِبَAllahs wrath will fall

And Allahs wrath will fallاللَّهُI

On himعَلَيْهِCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىOn+هِhim / his / it

And he will curse himوَلَعَنَهُCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTوَand+لَعَنَHe will curse+هُhim / his / it

And he has preparedوَأَعَدَّCBFCONJ+Vوَand+أَعَدَّHe has prepared

For himلَهُCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+هُhim / his / it

A punishmentعَذَابًاI

GreatعَظِيمًاI

4:94

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِذَا ضَرَبْتُمْ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَتَبَيَّنُوا۟ وَلَا تَقُولُوا۟ لِمَنْ أَلْقَىٰٓ إِلَيْكُمُ ٱلسَّلَٰمَ لَسْتَ مُؤْمِنًا تَبْتَغُونَ عَرَضَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا فَعِندَ ٱللَّهِ مَغَانِمُ كَثِيرَةٌ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ كُنتُم مِّن قَبْلُ فَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْكُمْ فَتَبَيَّنُوٓا۟ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ خَبِيرًا ﴿94﴾

O you who have believed, when you go forth [to fight] in the cause of Allah, investigate; and do not say to one who gives you [a greeting of] peace "You are not a believer," aspiring for the goods of worldly life; for with Allah are many acquisitions. You [yourselves] were like that before; then Allah conferred His favor upon you, so investigate. Indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.

The wayسَبِيلِI

Of AllahاللَّهِI

Then investigateفَتَبَيَّنُواCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+تَبَيَّنُواInvestigate

And do notوَلَاCBHCONJ+PROوَand+لَاDo not

SayتَقُولُواF

To the one whoلِمَنْCBIP+RELلِfor / to+مَنْThe one who

OffersأَلْقَىF

To youإِلَيْكُمُCBHP+PRONATTإِلَىTo+كُمُyou / your (pl.)

A greeting of peaceالسَّلَامَIالthe+سَلَامَA greeting of peace

You are not a believerلَسْتَF

You are not a believerمُؤْمِنًاI

SeekingتَبْتَغُونَF

Transitory gainsعَرَضَI

Of the lifeالْحَيَاةِIالthe+حَيَاةِOf the life

Of the worldالدُّنْيَاIالthe+دُنْيَاOf the world

For withفَعِنْدَCBICONJ+LOCفَso / then+عِنْدَFor with

AllahاللَّهِI

Are bootiesمَغَانِمُI

AbundantكَثِيرَةٌI

Like thatكَذَلِكَCBIP+DEMكَlike+ذَلِكَThat

You wereكُنْتُمْF

BeforeمِنْH

BeforeقَبْلُI

Then Allah conferred favorفَمَنَّCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+مَنَّAllah conferred favor

Then Allah conferred favorاللَّهُI

Upon youعَلَيْكُمْCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىUpon+كُمْyou / your (pl.)

So investigateفَتَبَيَّنُواCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+تَبَيَّنُواInvestigate

IndeedإِنَّH

AllahاللَّهَI

IsكَانَF

Of whatبِمَاCBIP+RELبِwith / in+مَاOf what

You doتَعْمَلُونَF

All awareخَبِيرًاI

4:95

لَّا يَسْتَوِى ٱلْقَٰعِدُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ غَيْرُ أُو۟لِى ٱلضَّرَرِ وَٱلْمُجَٰهِدُونَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ ۚ فَضَّلَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُجَٰهِدِينَ بِأَمْوَٰلِهِمْ وَأَنفُسِهِمْ عَلَى ٱلْقَٰعِدِينَ دَرَجَةً ۚ وَكُلًّا وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ وَفَضَّلَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمُجَٰهِدِينَ عَلَى ٱلْقَٰعِدِينَ أَجْرًا عَظِيمًا ﴿95﴾

Not equal are those believers remaining [at home] - other than the disabled - and the mujahideen, [who strive and fight] in the cause of Allah with their wealth and their lives. Allah has preferred the mujahideen through their wealth and their lives over those who remain [behind], by degrees. And to both Allah has promised the best [reward]. But Allah has preferred the mujahideen over those who remain [behind] with a great reward -

NotلَاH

Are equalيَسْتَوِيF

The ones who sitالْقَاعِدُونَIالthe+قَاعِدُونَOnes who sit

AmongمِنَH

The believersالْمُؤْمِنِينَIالthe+مُؤْمِنِينَBelievers

Other thanغَيْرُI

The ones who areأُولِيI

[the] disabledالضَّرَرِIالthe+ضَرَرِ[the] disabled

And the ones who striveوَالْمُجَاهِدُونَCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+مُجَاهِدُونَOnes who strive

InفِيH

The wayسَبِيلِI

Of AllahاللَّهِI

With their wealthبِأَمْوَالِهِمْCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+أَمْوَالِTheir wealth+هِمْthem / their

And their livesوَأَنْفُسِهِمْCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+أَنْفُسِTheir lives+هِمْthem / their

Allah has preferredفَضَّلَF

Allah has preferredاللَّهُI

The ones who striveالْمُجَاهِدِينَIالthe+مُجَاهِدِينَOnes who strive

With their wealthبِأَمْوَالِهِمْCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+أَمْوَالِTheir wealth+هِمْthem / their

And their livesوَأَنْفُسِهِمْCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+أَنْفُسِTheir lives+هِمْthem / their

ToعَلَىH

The ones who sitالْقَاعِدِينَIالthe+قَاعِدِينَOnes who sit

In rankدَرَجَةًI

And to allوَكُلًّاCBICONJ+Nوَand+كُلًّاTo all

Allah has promisedوَعَدَF

Allah has promisedاللَّهُI

The bestالْحُسْنَىIالthe+حُسْنَىBest

Allah has preferredوَفَضَّلَCBFCONJ+Vوَand+فَضَّلَAllah has preferred

Allah has preferredاللَّهُI

The ones who striveالْمُجَاهِدِينَIالthe+مُجَاهِدِينَOnes who strive

OverعَلَىH

The ones who sitالْقَاعِدِينَIالthe+قَاعِدِينَOnes who sit

With a rewardأَجْرًاI

GreatعَظِيمًاI

4:96

دَرَجَٰتٍ مِّنْهُ وَمَغْفِرَةً وَرَحْمَةً ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا ﴿96﴾

Degrees [of high position] from Him and forgiveness and mercy. And Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful.
