يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِۦ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ ﴿102﴾
O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him].

← read from right to left1O youيَاأَيُّهَاya'ayyuhaH 6As is his rightحَقَّhaqqaI 7That he should be fearedتُقَاتِهِtuqatihiCBIN+PRONATTتُقَاتِThat he should be feared+هِhim / his / it 9DieتَمُوتُنَّtamutunnaCBFV+PRONATTتَمُوتُDie+نَّemphasis 10ExceptإِلَّاillaHإِنْif=لَاnot 12As muslimsمُسْلِمُونَmuslimunaI وَٱعْتَصِمُوا۟ بِحَبْلِ ٱللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا۟ ۚ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَآءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِۦٓ إِخْوَٰنًا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ ﴿103﴾
And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided.

← read from right to left1And hold firmlyوَاعْتَصِمُواwa-i'tasimuCBFCONJ+Vوَand+اعْتَصِمُواHold firmly 2To the ropeبِحَبْلِbihabliCBIP+Nبِwith / in+حَبْلِTo the rope 4All togetherجَمِيعًاjami'anI 6Be dividedتَفَرَّقُواtafarraquF 7And rememberوَاذْكُرُواwa-udhkuruCBFCONJ+Vوَand+اذْكُرُواRemember 8The favorنِعْمَتَni'mataI 10On youعَلَيْكُمْ'alaykumCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىOn+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 12You wereكُنْتُمْkuntumF 13Enemiesأَعْدَاءًa'da'anI 14Then he made friendshipفَأَلَّفَfa-allafaCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+أَلَّفَHe made friendship 16Your heartsقُلُوبِكُمْqulubikumCBIN+PRONATTقُلُوبِYour hearts+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 17Then you becameفَأَصْبَحْتُمْfa-asbahtumCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+أَصْبَحْتُمْYou became 18By his favorبِنِعْمَتِهِbini'matihiCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+نِعْمَتِHis favor+هِhim / his / it 19BrothersإِخْوَانًاikhwananI 20And you wereوَكُنْتُمْwakuntumCBFCONJ+Vوَand+كُنْتُمْYou were 23Of pitحُفْرَةٍhufratinI 25The fireالنَّارِl-nariIالthe+نَارِFire 26Then he saved youفَأَنْقَذَكُمْfa-anqadhakumCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+أَنْقَذَHe saved+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 27From itمِنْهَاminhaCBHP+PRONATTمِنْFrom+هَاher / it / its 28ThusكَذَلِكَkadhalikaCBIP+DEMكَlike+ذَلِكَThus 29Makes clearيُبَيِّنُyubayyinuF 31For youلَكُمْlakumCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 32His versesآيَاتِهِayatihiCBIN+PRONATTآيَاتِHis verses+هِhim / his / it 33So that you mayلَعَلَّكُمْla'allakumCBHACC+PRONATTلَعَلَّSo that you may+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 34Be guidedتَهْتَدُونَtahtadunaF وَلْتَكُن مِّنكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ ۚ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ ﴿104﴾
And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful.

And do not be like the ones who became divided and differed after the clear proofs had come to them. And those will have a great punishment.

On the Day [some] faces will turn white and [some] faces will turn black. As for those whose faces turn black, [to them it will be said], "Did you disbelieve after your belief? Then taste the punishment for what you used to reject."

But as for those whose faces will turn white, [they will be] within the mercy of Allah. They will abide therein eternally.

These are the verses of Allah. We recite them to you, [O Muhammad], in truth; and Allah wants no injustice to the worlds.
