لَن تَنَالُوا۟ ٱلْبِرَّ حَتَّىٰ تُنفِقُوا۟ مِمَّا تُحِبُّونَ ۚ وَمَا تُنفِقُوا۟ مِن شَىْءٍ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ بِهِۦ عَلِيمٌ ﴿92﴾

Never will you attain the good [reward] until you spend [in the way of Allah] from that which you love. And whatever you spend - indeed, Allah is Knowing of it.

Word by word

NeverلَنْH
Will you attainتَنَالُواF
[the] righteousnessالْبِرَّIالthe+بِرَّ[the] righteousness
UntilحَتَّىH
You spendتُنْفِقُواF
From whatمِمَّاCBIP+RELمِنfrom / of=مَاwhat
You loveتُحِبُّونَF
And whateverوَمَاCBICONJ+CONDوَand+مَاWhatever
You spendتُنْفِقُواF
OfمِنْH
A thingشَيْءٍI
Then indeedفَإِنَّCBHCONJ+ACCفَso / then+إِنَّIndeed
AllahاللَّهَI
Of itبِهِCBHP+PRONATTبِwith / in+هِhim / his / it
Is all knowingعَلِيمٌI

كُلُّ ٱلطَّعَامِ كَانَ حِلًّا لِّبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ إِلَّا مَا حَرَّمَ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلُ عَلَىٰ نَفْسِهِۦ مِن قَبْلِ أَن تُنَزَّلَ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةُ ۗ قُلْ فَأْتُوا۟ بِٱلتَّوْرَىٰةِ فَٱتْلُوهَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ ﴿93﴾

All food was lawful to the Children of Israel except what Israel had made unlawful to himself before the Torah was revealed. Say, [O Muhammad], "So bring the Torah and recite it, if you should be truthful."

ExceptإِلَّاHإِنْif=لَاnot
WhatمَاI
Made unlawfulحَرَّمَF
IsraelإِسْرَائِيلُI
UponعَلَىH
HimselfنَفْسِهِCBIN+PRONATTنَفْسِHimself+هِhim / his / it
FromمِنْH
BeforeقَبْلِI
[that]أَنْH
Was revealedتُنَزَّلَF
The TorahالتَّوْرَاةُIالthe+تَوْرَاةُTorah
SayقُلْF
So bringفَأْتُواCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+ائْتُواBring
The TorahبِالتَّوْرَاةِCBIP+PNبِwith / in+الthe+تَوْرَاةِTorah
And recite itفَاتْلُوهَاCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+اتْلُوAnd recite+هَاher / it / its
IfإِنْH
You areكُنْتُمْF
TruthfulصَادِقِينَI

فَمَنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ ٱلْكَذِبَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ ﴿94﴾

And whoever invents about Allah untruth after that - then those are [truly] the wrongdoers.

Then whoeverفَمَنِCBICONJ+CONDفَso / then+مَنْWhoever
FabricatesافْتَرَىF
AboutعَلَىH
AllahاللَّهِI
[the] lieالْكَذِبَIالthe+كَذِبَ[the] lie
FromمِنْH
AfterبَعْدِI
ThatذَلِكَI
Then thoseفَأُولَئِكَCBICONJ+DEMفَso / then+أُولَئِكَThose
TheyهُمُI
Are the wrongdoersالظَّالِمُونَIالthe+ظَالِمُونَAre the wrongdoers

قُلْ صَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ ۗ فَٱتَّبِعُوا۟ مِلَّةَ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ حَنِيفًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ ﴿95﴾

Say, "Allah has told the truth. So follow the religion of Abraham, inclining toward truth; and he was not of the polytheists."

Has spoken the truthصَدَقَF
AllahاللَّهُI
Then followفَاتَّبِعُواCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+اتَّبِعُواFollow
The religionمِلَّةَI
Of abrahamإِبْرَاهِيمَI
The uprightحَنِيفًاI
And notوَمَاCBHCONJ+NEGوَand+مَاNot
He wasكَانَF
OfمِنَH
The polytheistsالْمُشْرِكِينَIالthe+مُشْرِكِينَPolytheists

إِنَّ أَوَّلَ بَيْتٍ وُضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِى بِبَكَّةَ مُبَارَكًا وَهُدًى لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ ﴿96﴾

Indeed, the first House [of worship] established for mankind was that at Makkah - blessed and a guidance for the worlds.

The firstأَوَّلَI
HouseبَيْتٍI
Set upوُضِعَF
For the mankindلِلنَّاسِCBIP+Nلِلfor the+نَاسِMankind
Is the one whichلَلَّذِيCBILAM+RELلَfor / to+الَّذِيIs the one which
Is at bakkahبِبَكَّةَCBIP+PNبِwith / in+بَكَّةَIs at bakkah
BlessedمُبَارَكًاI
And a guidanceوَهُدًىCBICONJ+Nوَand+هُدًىA guidance
For the worldsلِلْعَالَمِينَCBIP+Nلِلfor the+عَالَمِينَWorlds

فِيهِ ءَايَٰتٌۢ بَيِّنَٰتٌ مَّقَامُ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ۖ وَمَن دَخَلَهُۥ كَانَ ءَامِنًا ۗ وَلِلَّهِ عَلَى ٱلنَّاسِ حِجُّ ٱلْبَيْتِ مَنِ ٱسْتَطَاعَ إِلَيْهِ سَبِيلًا ۚ وَمَن كَفَرَ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَنِىٌّ عَنِ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ﴿97﴾

In it are clear signs [such as] the standing place of Abraham. And whoever enters it shall be safe. And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a way. But whoever disbelieves - then indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds.

Are signsآيَاتٌI
ClearبَيِّنَاتٌI
Standing placeمَقَامُI
Of abrahamإِبْرَاهِيمَI
And whoeverوَمَنْCBICONJ+CONDوَand+مَنْWhoever
Enters itدَخَلَهُCBFV+PRONATTدَخَلَEnters+هُhim / his / it
IsكَانَF
SafeآمِنًاI
And due to AllahوَلِلَّهِCBICONJ+P+PNوَand+لِfor / to+اللَّهِDue to Allah
UponعَلَىH
The mankindالنَّاسِIالthe+نَاسِMankind
Is pilgrimageحِجُّI
Of the houseالْبَيْتِIالthe+بَيْتِOf the house
For one whoمَنِI
Is ableاسْتَطَاعَF
To [it]إِلَيْهِCBHP+PRONATTإِلَىTo [it]+هِhim / his / it
Find a wayسَبِيلًاI
And whoeverوَمَنْCBICONJ+CONDوَand+مَنْWhoever
DisbelievedكَفَرَF
Then indeedفَإِنَّCBHCONJ+ACCفَso / then+إِنَّIndeed
AllahاللَّهَI
Is free from needغَنِيٌّI
OfعَنِH
The universeالْعَالَمِينَIالthe+عَالَمِينَUniverse

قُلْ يَٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لِمَ تَكْفُرُونَ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَٱللَّهُ شَهِيدٌ عَلَىٰ مَا تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿98﴾

Say, "O People of the Scripture, why do you disbelieve in the verses of Allah while Allah is Witness over what you do?"

SayقُلْF
O peopleيَاأَهْلَCBIVOC+NيَاO+أَهْلَPeople
Of the BookالْكِتَابِIالthe+كِتَابِOf the Book
WhyلِمَH
Do you disbelieveتَكْفُرُونَF
In the versesبِآيَاتِCBIP+Nبِwith / in+آيَاتِThe verses
Of AllahاللَّهِI
While AllahوَاللَّهُCBICONJ+PNوَand+اللَّهُWhile Allah
Is a witnessشَهِيدٌI
OverعَلَىH
WhatمَاI
You doتَعْمَلُونَF

قُلْ يَٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ لِمَ تَصُدُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ مَنْ ءَامَنَ تَبْغُونَهَا عِوَجًا وَأَنتُمْ شُهَدَآءُ ۗ وَمَا ٱللَّهُ بِغَٰفِلٍ عَمَّا تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿99﴾

Say, "O People of the Scripture, why do you avert from the way of Allah those who believe, seeking to make it [seem] deviant, while you are witnesses [to the truth]? And Allah is not unaware of what you do."

Of the BookالْكِتَابِIالthe+كِتَابِOf the Book
WhyلِمَH
Do you hinderتَصُدُّونَF
FromعَنْH
The wayسَبِيلِI
Of AllahاللَّهِI
Those whoمَنْI
Believe[d]آمَنَF
Seeking to make itتَبْغُونَهَاCBFV+PRONATTتَبْغُونَSeeking to make+هَاher / it / its
Seem crookedعِوَجًاI
While youوَأَنْتُمْCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+أَنْتُمْWhile you
Are witnessesشُهَدَاءُI
And notوَمَاCBHCONJ+NEGوَand+مَاNot
AllahاللَّهُI
Is unawareبِغَافِلٍCBIP+Nبِwith / in+غَافِلٍIs unaware
Of whatعَمَّاCBIP+RELعَنabout / from=مَاwhat
You doتَعْمَلُونَF

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ إِن تُطِيعُوا۟ فَرِيقًا مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ يَرُدُّوكُم بَعْدَ إِيمَٰنِكُمْ كَٰفِرِينَ ﴿100﴾

O you who have believed, if you obey a party of those who were given the Scripture, they would turn you back, after your belief, [to being] unbelievers.

WhoالَّذِينَI
Believe[d]آمَنُواF
IfإِنْH
You obeyتُطِيعُواF
A groupفَرِيقًاI
FromمِنَH
Those whoالَّذِينَI
Were givenأُوتُواF
The BookالْكِتَابَIالthe+كِتَابَBook
They will turn you backيَرُدُّوكُمْCBFV+PRONATTيَرُدُّوThey will turn you back+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
AfterبَعْدَI
Your beliefإِيمَانِكُمْCBIN+PRONATTإِيمَانِYour belief+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
As disbelieversكَافِرِينَI

وَكَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ وَأَنتُمْ تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ ءَايَٰتُ ٱللَّهِ وَفِيكُمْ رَسُولُهُۥ ۗ وَمَن يَعْتَصِم بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدْ هُدِىَ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ ﴿101﴾

And how could you disbelieve while to you are being recited the verses of Allah and among you is His Messenger? And whoever holds firmly to Allah has [indeed] been guided to a straight path.

You disbelieveتَكْفُرُونَF
While [you]وَأَنْتُمْCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+أَنْتُمْWhile [you]

Upon youعَلَيْكُمْCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىUpon+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
The versesآيَاتُI
Of AllahاللَّهِI
And among youوَفِيكُمْCBHCONJ+P+PRONATTوَand+فِيكُمْAmong you
Is his MessengerرَسُولُهُCBIN+PRONATTرَسُولُIs his Messenger+هُhim / his / it
And whoeverوَمَنْCBICONJ+CONDوَand+مَنْWhoever
Holds firmlyيَعْتَصِمْF
To AllahبِاللَّهِCBIP+PNبِwith / in+اللَّهِTo Allah
Then surelyفَقَدْCBHCONJ+CERTفَso / then+قَدْSurely
He is guidedهُدِيَF
ToإِلَىH
A pathصِرَاطٍI
