وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُوا۟ لَوْ شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مَا عَبَدْنَا مِن دُونِهِۦ مِن شَىْءٍ نَّحْنُ وَلَآ ءَابَآؤُنَا وَلَا حَرَّمْنَا مِن دُونِهِۦ مِن شَىْءٍ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ فَعَلَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ فَهَلْ عَلَى ٱلرُّسُلِ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ ﴿35﴾
And those who associate others with Allah say, "If Allah had willed, we would not have worshipped anything other than Him, neither we nor our fathers, nor would we have forbidden anything through other than Him." Thus did those do before them. So is there upon the messengers except [the duty of] clear notification?

Associate partners with AllahأَشْرَكُواF We would have worshippedعَبَدْنَاF Other than himدُونِهِCBIN+PRONATTدُونِOther than+هِhim / his / it Our forefathersآبَاؤُنَاCBIN+PRONATTآبَاؤُOur forefathers+نَاus / our We would have forbiddenحَرَّمْنَاF Other than himدُونِهِCBIN+PRONATTدُونِOther than+هِhim / his / it ThusكَذَلِكَCBIP+DEMكَlike+ذَلِكَThus Were before themقَبْلِهِمْCBIN+PRONATTقَبْلِWere before+هِمْthem / their Then is thereفَهَلْCBHCONJ+INTGفَso / then+هَلْIs there The MessengersالرُّسُلِIالthe+رُسُلِMessengers ExceptإِلَّاHإِنْif=لَاnot The conveyanceالْبَلَاغُIالthe+بَلَاغُConveyance ClearالْمُبِينُIالthe+مُبِينُClear وَلَقَدْ بَعَثْنَا فِى كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ رَّسُولًا أَنِ ٱعْبُدُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟ ٱلطَّٰغُوتَ ۖ فَمِنْهُم مَّنْ هَدَى ٱللَّهُ وَمِنْهُم مَّنْ حَقَّتْ عَلَيْهِ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةُ ۚ فَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿36﴾
And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], "Worship Allah and avoid Taghut." And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom error was [deservedly] decreed. So proceed through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers.

And avoidوَاجْتَنِبُواCBFCONJ+Vوَand+اجْتَنِبُواAvoid The false deitiesالطَّاغُوتَIالthe+طَاغُوتَFalse deities The strayingالضَّلَالَةُIالthe+ضَلَالَةُStraying So travelفَسِيرُواCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+سِيرُواTravel The earthالْأَرْضِIالthe+أَرْضِEarth And seeفَانْظُرُواCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+انْظُرُواAnd see Of the deniersالْمُكَذِّبِينَIالthe+مُكَذِّبِينَOf the deniers إِن تَحْرِصْ عَلَىٰ هُدَىٰهُمْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى مَن يُضِلُّ ۖ وَمَا لَهُم مِّن نَّٰصِرِينَ ﴿37﴾
[Even] if you should strive for their guidance, [O Muhammad], indeed, Allah does not guide those He sends astray, and they will have no helpers.

Their guidanceهُدَاهُمْCBIN+PRONATTهُدَاTheir guidance+هُمْthem / their Then indeedفَإِنَّCBHCONJ+ACCفَso / then+إِنَّIndeed He lets go astrayيُضِلُّF وَأَقْسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ جَهْدَ أَيْمَٰنِهِمْ ۙ لَا يَبْعَثُ ٱللَّهُ مَن يَمُوتُ ۚ بَلَىٰ وَعْدًا عَلَيْهِ حَقًّا وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ﴿38﴾
And they swear by Allah their strongest oaths [that] Allah will not resurrect one who dies. But yes - [it is] a true promise [binding] upon Him, but most of the people do not know.

And they swearوَأَقْسَمُواCBFCONJ+Vوَand+أَقْسَمُواThey swear By AllahبِاللَّهِCBIP+PNبِwith / in+اللَّهِAllah Of their oathsأَيْمَانِهِمْCBIN+PRONATTأَيْمَانِOf their oaths+هِمْthem / their Allah will not resurrectلَاH Allah will not resurrectيَبْعَثُF Allah will not resurrectاللَّهُI Of the mankindالنَّاسِIالthe+نَاسِOf the mankind لِيُبَيِّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلَّذِى يَخْتَلِفُونَ فِيهِ وَلِيَعْلَمَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ كَٰذِبِينَ ﴿39﴾
[It is] so He will make clear to them [the truth of] that wherein they differ and so those who have disbelieved may know that they were liars.

That he will make clearلِيُبَيِّنَCBFP+Vلِfor / to+يُبَيِّنَThat he will make clear They differيَخْتَلِفُونَF And that may knowوَلِيَعْلَمَCBFCONJ+P+Vوَand+لِfor / to+يَعْلَمَThat may know إِنَّمَا قَوْلُنَا لِشَىْءٍ إِذَآ أَرَدْنَٰهُ أَن نَّقُولَ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ ﴿40﴾
Indeed, Our word to a thing when We intend it is but that We say to it, "Be," and it is.
