وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوْمِهِۦ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَةَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ جَعَلَ فِيكُمْ أَنۢبِيَآءَ وَجَعَلَكُم مُّلُوكًا وَءَاتَىٰكُم مَّا لَمْ يُؤْتِ أَحَدًا مِّنَ ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ ﴿20﴾

And [mention, O Muhammad], when Moses said to his people, "O my people, remember the favor of Allah upon you when He appointed among you prophets and made you possessors and gave you that which He had not given anyone among the worlds.

The favor of AllahنِعْمَةَI
The favor of AllahاللَّهِI
Upon youعَلَيْكُمْCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىUpon+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
WhenإِذْI
He placedجَعَلَF
Among youفِيكُمْCBHP+PRONATTفِيAmong+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
ProphetsأَنْبِيَاءَI
And made youوَجَعَلَكُمْCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTوَand+جَعَلَMade+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
KingsمُلُوكًاI
And he gave youوَآتَاكُمْCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTوَand+آتَاHe gave+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
WhatمَاI
He had not givenلَمْH
He had not givenيُؤْتِF
To anyoneأَحَدًاI
FromمِنَH
The worldsالْعَالَمِينَIالthe+عَالَمِينَWorlds

يَٰقَوْمِ ٱدْخُلُوا۟ ٱلْأَرْضَ ٱلْمُقَدَّسَةَ ٱلَّتِى كَتَبَ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَلَا تَرْتَدُّوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ أَدْبَارِكُمْ فَتَنقَلِبُوا۟ خَٰسِرِينَ ﴿21﴾

O my people, enter the Holy Land which Allah has assigned to you and do not turn back [from fighting in Allah 's cause] and [thus] become losers."

Allah has ordainedكَتَبَF

And do notوَلَاCBHCONJ+PROوَand+لَاDo not
TurnتَرْتَدُّواF
OnعَلَىH
Your backsأَدْبَارِكُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَدْبَارِYour backs+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
Then you will turn backفَتَنْقَلِبُواCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+تَنْقَلِبُواYou will turn back
As losersخَاسِرِينَI

قَالُوا۟ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّ فِيهَا قَوْمًا جَبَّارِينَ وَإِنَّا لَن نَّدْخُلَهَا حَتَّىٰ يَخْرُجُوا۟ مِنْهَا فَإِن يَخْرُجُوا۟ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّا دَٰخِلُونَ ﴿22﴾

They said, "O Moses, indeed within it is a people of tyrannical strength, and indeed, we will never enter it until they leave it; but if they leave it, then we will enter."

And indeed weوَإِنَّاCBHCONJ+ACC+PRONATTوَand+إِIndeed we+ناus / our
NeverلَنْH
Will enter itنَدْخُلَهَاCBFV+PRONATTنَدْخُلَWill enter+هَاher / it / its
UntilحَتَّىH
They leaveيَخْرُجُواF
From itمِنْهَاCBHP+PRONATTمِنْFrom+هَاher / it / its
And ifفَإِنْCBHCONJ+CONDفَso / then+إِنْAnd if
They leaveيَخْرُجُواF
[from] itمِنْهَاCBHP+PRONATTمِنْ[from]+هَاher / it / its
Then certainly we willفَإِنَّاCBHCONJ+ACC+PRONATTفَso / then+إِCertainly we will+ناus / our
Enter itدَاخِلُونَI

قَالَ رَجُلَانِ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ أَنْعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمَا ٱدْخُلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْبَابَ فَإِذَا دَخَلْتُمُوهُ فَإِنَّكُمْ غَٰلِبُونَ ۚ وَعَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَتَوَكَّلُوٓا۟ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ ﴿23﴾

Said two men from those who feared [to disobey] upon whom Allah had bestowed favor, "Enter upon them through the gate, for when you have entered it, you will be predominant. And upon Allah rely, if you should be believers."

EnterادْخُلُواF
Upon themعَلَيْهِمُCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىUpon+هِمُthem / their
Through the gateالْبَابَIالthe+بَابَThrough the gate
Then whenفَإِذَاCBICONJ+Tفَso / then+إِذَاWhen
You have entered itدَخَلْتُمُوهُCBFV+PRONATTدَخَلْتُمُYou have entered+وهُit / him
Then indeed you will beفَإِنَّكُمْCBHCONJ+ACC+PRONATTفَso / then+إِنَّIndeed you will be+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
VictoriousغَالِبُونَI
And uponوَعَلَىCBHCONJ+Pوَand+عَلَىUpon
AllahاللَّهِI
Then put your trustفَتَوَكَّلُواCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+تَوَكَّلُواPut your trust
IfإِنْH
You areكُنْتُمْF
BelieversمُؤْمِنِينَI

قَالُوا۟ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّا لَن نَّدْخُلَهَآ أَبَدًا مَّا دَامُوا۟ فِيهَا ۖ فَٱذْهَبْ أَنتَ وَرَبُّكَ فَقَٰتِلَآ إِنَّا هَٰهُنَا قَٰعِدُونَ ﴿24﴾

They said, "O Moses, indeed we will not enter it, ever, as long as they are within it; so go, you and your Lord, and fight. Indeed, we are remaining right here."

As long as they areمَاH
As long as they areدَامُواF
In itفِيهَاCBHP+PRONATTفِيIn+هَاher / it / its
So goفَاذْهَبْCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+اذْهَبْGo
YouأَنْتَI
And your LordوَرَبُّكَCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+رَبُّYour Lord+كَyou / your
And you both fightفَقَاتِلَاCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+قَاتِلَاAnd you both fight
Indeed weإِنَّاCBHACC+PRONATTإِIndeed we+ناus / our
Are [here]هَاهُنَاI
SittingقَاعِدُونَI

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى لَآ أَمْلِكُ إِلَّا نَفْسِى وَأَخِى ۖ فَٱفْرُقْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ ﴿25﴾

[Moses] said, "My Lord, indeed I do not possess except myself and my brother, so part us from the defiantly disobedient people."

O my LordرَبِّI
Indeed iإِنِّيCBHACC+PRONATTإِIndeed i+نيme
Do notلَاH
Have powerأَمْلِكُF
ExceptإِلَّاHإِنْif=لَاnot
Over myselfنَفْسِيCBIN+PRONATTنَفْسِOver myself+يme / my
And my brotherوَأَخِيCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+أَخِMy brother+يme / my
So make a separationفَافْرُقْCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+افْرُقْMake a separation
Between usبَيْنَنَاCBILOC+PRONATTبَيْنَBetween+نَاus / our
And betweenوَبَيْنَCBICONJ+LOCوَand+بَيْنَBetween
The defiantly disobedient peopleالْقَوْمِIالthe+قَوْمِDefiantly disobedient people
The defiantly disobedient peopleالْفَاسِقِينَIالthe+فَاسِقِينَDefiantly disobedient people

قَالَ فَإِنَّهَا مُحَرَّمَةٌ عَلَيْهِمْ ۛ أَرْبَعِينَ سَنَةً ۛ يَتِيهُونَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ فَلَا تَأْسَ عَلَى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ ﴿26﴾

[Allah] said, "Then indeed, it is forbidden to them for forty years [in which] they will wander throughout the land. So do not grieve over the defiantly disobedient people."

GrieveتَأْسَF
OverعَلَىH
The defiantly disobedient peopleالْقَوْمِIالthe+قَوْمِDefiantly disobedient people
