فَلَمَّا ٱسْتَيْـَٔسُوا۟ مِنْهُ خَلَصُوا۟ نَجِيًّا ۖ قَالَ كَبِيرُهُمْ أَلَمْ تَعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّ أَبَاكُمْ قَدْ أَخَذَ عَلَيْكُم مَّوْثِقًا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَمِن قَبْلُ مَا فَرَّطتُمْ فِى يُوسُفَ ۖ فَلَنْ أَبْرَحَ ٱلْأَرْضَ حَتَّىٰ يَأْذَنَ لِىٓ أَبِىٓ أَوْ يَحْكُمَ ٱللَّهُ لِى ۖ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ ٱلْحَٰكِمِينَ ﴿80﴾

So when they had despaired of him, they secluded themselves in private consultation. The eldest of them said, "Do you not know that your father has taken upon you an oath by Allah and [that] before you failed in [your duty to] Joseph? So I will never leave [this] land until my father permits me or Allah decides for me, and He is the best of judges.

Has takenقَدْH
Has takenأَخَذَF
Upon youعَلَيْكُمْCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىUpon+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
A promiseمَوْثِقًاI
ByمِنَH
AllahاللَّهِI
And beforeوَمِنْCBHCONJ+Pوَand+مِنْBefore
And beforeقَبْلُI
ThatمَاH
You failedفَرَّطْتُمْF
ConcerningفِيH
JosephيُوسُفَI
So neverفَلَنْCBHCONJ+NEGفَso / then+لَنْNever
Will i leaveأَبْرَحَF
The landالْأَرْضَIالthe+أَرْضَLand
UntilحَتَّىH
PermitsيَأْذَنَF
MeلِيCBHP+PRONATTلِfor / to+يme / my
My fatherأَبِيCBIN+PRONATTأَبِMy father+يme / my
OrأَوْH
Allah decidesيَحْكُمَF
Allah decidesاللَّهُI
For meلِيCBHP+PRONATTلِfor / to+يme / my
And heوَهُوَCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+هُوَHe
Is the bestخَيْرُI
Of the judgesالْحَاكِمِينَIالthe+حَاكِمِينَOf the judges

ٱرْجِعُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَبِيكُمْ فَقُولُوا۟ يَٰٓأَبَانَآ إِنَّ ٱبْنَكَ سَرَقَ وَمَا شَهِدْنَآ إِلَّا بِمَا عَلِمْنَا وَمَا كُنَّا لِلْغَيْبِ حَٰفِظِينَ ﴿81﴾

Return to your father and say, "O our father, indeed your son has stolen, and we did not testify except to what we knew. And we were not witnesses of the unseen,

Has stolenسَرَقَF
And notوَمَاCBHCONJ+NEGوَand+مَاNot
We testifyشَهِدْنَاF
ExceptإِلَّاHإِنْif=لَاnot
Of whatبِمَاCBIP+RELبِwith / in+مَاOf what
We knewعَلِمْنَاF
And notوَمَاCBHCONJ+NEGوَand+مَاNot
We wereكُنَّاF
Of the unseenلِلْغَيْبِCBIP+Nلِلfor the+غَيْبِOf the unseen
GuardiansحَافِظِينَI

وَسْـَٔلِ ٱلْقَرْيَةَ ٱلَّتِى كُنَّا فِيهَا وَٱلْعِيرَ ٱلَّتِىٓ أَقْبَلْنَا فِيهَا ۖ وَإِنَّا لَصَٰدِقُونَ ﴿82﴾

And ask the city in which we were and the caravan in which we came - and indeed, we are truthful,"

And the caravanوَالْعِيرَCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+عِيرَCaravan
WhichالَّتِيI
We returnedأَقْبَلْنَاF

And indeed weوَإِنَّاCBHCONJ+ACC+PRONATTوَand+إِIndeed we+ناus / our
Surely are truthfulلَصَادِقُونَCBILAM+Nلَfor / to+صَادِقُونَSurely are truthful

قَالَ بَلْ سَوَّلَتْ لَكُمْ أَنفُسُكُمْ أَمْرًا ۖ فَصَبْرٌ جَمِيلٌ ۖ عَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن يَأْتِيَنِى بِهِمْ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ﴿83﴾

[Jacob] said, "Rather, your souls have enticed you to something, so patience is most fitting. Perhaps Allah will bring them to me all together. Indeed it is He who is the Knowing, the Wise."

Is beautifulجَمِيلٌI
PerhapsعَسَىF
AllahاللَّهُI
Will bring them to meأَنْH
Will bring them to meيَأْتِيَنِيCBFV+PRONATTيَأْتِيَWill bring them to+نِيme
Will bring them to meبِهِمْCBHP+PRONATTبِwith / in+هِمْthem / their
AllجَمِيعًاI
Indeed heإِنَّهُCBHACC+PRONATTإِنَّIndeed he+هُhim / his / it
HeهُوَI
Is the all knowerالْعَلِيمُIالthe+عَلِيمُIs the all knower
All wiseالْحَكِيمُIالthe+حَكِيمُAll wise

وَتَوَلَّىٰ عَنْهُمْ وَقَالَ يَٰٓأَسَفَىٰ عَلَىٰ يُوسُفَ وَٱبْيَضَّتْ عَيْنَاهُ مِنَ ٱلْحُزْنِ فَهُوَ كَظِيمٌ ﴿84﴾

And he turned away from them and said, "Oh, my sorrow over Joseph," and his eyes became white from grief, for he was [of that] a suppressor.

JosephيُوسُفَI
And became whiteوَابْيَضَّتْCBFCONJ+Vوَand+ابْيَضَّتْBecame white
His eyesعَيْنَاهُCBIN+PRONATTعَيْنَاHis eyes+هُhim / his / it
FromمِنَH
The griefالْحُزْنِIالthe+حُزْنِGrief
And he wasفَهُوَCBICONJ+PRONSUBJفَso / then+هُوَAnd he was
A suppressorكَظِيمٌI

قَالُوا۟ تَٱللَّهِ تَفْتَؤُا۟ تَذْكُرُ يُوسُفَ حَتَّىٰ تَكُونَ حَرَضًا أَوْ تَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْهَٰلِكِينَ ﴿85﴾

They said, "By Allah, you will not cease remembering Joseph until you become fatally ill or become of those who perish."

Those who perishالْهَالِكِينَIالthe+هَالِكِينَThose who perish

قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أَشْكُوا۟ بَثِّى وَحُزْنِىٓ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَأَعْلَمُ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿86﴾

He said, "I only complain of my suffering and my grief to Allah, and I know from Allah that which you do not know.

AllahاللَّهِI
And i knowوَأَعْلَمُCBFCONJ+Vوَand+أَعْلَمُI know
FromمِنَH
AllahاللَّهِI
WhatمَاI
NotلَاH
You knowتَعْلَمُونَF

يَٰبَنِىَّ ٱذْهَبُوا۟ فَتَحَسَّسُوا۟ مِن يُوسُفَ وَأَخِيهِ وَلَا تَا۟يْـَٔسُوا۟ مِن رَّوْحِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يَا۟يْـَٔسُ مِن رَّوْحِ ٱللَّهِ إِلَّا ٱلْقَوْمُ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ ﴿87﴾

O my sons, go and find out about Joseph and his brother and despair not of relief from Allah. Indeed, no one despairs of relief from Allah except the disbelieving people."

And his brotherوَأَخِيهِCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+أَخِيHis brother+هِhim / his / it
And notوَلَاCBHCONJ+PROوَand+لَاNot
DespairتَيْأَسُواF
OfمِنْH
The mercy of AllahرَوْحِI
The mercy of AllahاللَّهِI
IndeedإِنَّهُCBHACC+PRONATTإِنَّIndeed+هُhim / his / it
NoneلَاH
DespairsيَيْأَسُF
OfمِنْH
The mercy of AllahرَوْحِI
The mercy of AllahاللَّهِI
ExceptإِلَّاHإِنْif=لَاnot
The peopleالْقَوْمُIالthe+قَوْمُPeople
The disbelieversالْكَافِرُونَIالthe+كَافِرُونَDisbelievers

فَلَمَّا دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ قَالُوا۟ يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْعَزِيزُ مَسَّنَا وَأَهْلَنَا ٱلضُّرُّ وَجِئْنَا بِبِضَٰعَةٍ مُّزْجَىٰةٍ فَأَوْفِ لَنَا ٱلْكَيْلَ وَتَصَدَّقْ عَلَيْنَآ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَجْزِى ٱلْمُتَصَدِّقِينَ ﴿88﴾

So when they entered upon Joseph, they said, "O 'Azeez, adversity has touched us and our family, and we have come with goods poor in quality, but give us full measure and be charitable to us. Indeed, Allah rewards the charitable."

And our familyوَأَهْلَنَاCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+أَهْلَOur family+نَاus / our
The adversityالضُّرُّIالthe+ضُرُّAdversity
And we haveوَجِئْنَاCBFCONJ+Vوَand+جِئْنَاWe have
With goodsبِبِضَاعَةٍCBIP+Nبِwith / in+بِضَاعَةٍGoods
Of little valueمُزْجَاةٍI
But pay in fullفَأَوْفِCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+أَوْفِBut pay in full
To usلَنَاCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+نَاus / our
The measureالْكَيْلَIالthe+كَيْلَMeasure
And be charitableوَتَصَدَّقْCBFCONJ+Vوَand+تَصَدَّقْBe charitable
To usعَلَيْنَاCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىTo+نَاus / our
IndeedإِنَّH
AllahاللَّهَI
RewardsيَجْزِيF
The charitableالْمُتَصَدِّقِينَIالthe+مُتَصَدِّقِينَCharitable

قَالَ هَلْ عَلِمْتُم مَّا فَعَلْتُم بِيُوسُفَ وَأَخِيهِ إِذْ أَنتُمْ جَٰهِلُونَ ﴿89﴾

He said, "Do you know what you did with Joseph and his brother when you were ignorant?"

You wereأَنْتُمْI
IgnorantجَاهِلُونَI

قَالُوٓا۟ أَءِنَّكَ لَأَنتَ يُوسُفُ ۖ قَالَ أَنَا۠ يُوسُفُ وَهَٰذَآ أَخِى ۖ قَدْ مَنَّ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْنَآ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ مَن يَتَّقِ وَيَصْبِرْ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ ﴿90﴾

They said, "Are you indeed Joseph?" He said "I am Joseph, and this is my brother. Allah has certainly favored us. Indeed, he who fears Allah and is patient, then indeed, Allah does not allow to be lost the reward of those who do good."

Allah has been GraciousمَنَّF
Allah has been GraciousاللَّهُI
To usعَلَيْنَاCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىTo+نَاus / our
Indeed heإِنَّهُCBHACC+PRONATTإِنَّIndeed he+هُhim / his / it
WhoمَنْI
Fears AllahيَتَّقِF
And is patientوَيَصْبِرْCBFCONJ+Vوَand+يَصْبِرْIs patient
Then indeedفَإِنَّCBHCONJ+ACCفَso / then+إِنَّIndeed
AllahاللَّهَI
Does notلَاH
Let go wasteيُضِيعُF
The rewardأَجْرَI
Of the good doersالْمُحْسِنِينَIالthe+مُحْسِنِينَOf the good doers

قَالُوا۟ تَٱللَّهِ لَقَدْ ءَاثَرَكَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيْنَا وَإِن كُنَّا لَخَٰطِـِٔينَ ﴿91﴾

They said, "By Allah, certainly has Allah preferred you over us, and indeed, we have been sinners."

SinnersلَخَاطِئِينَCBILAM+Nلَfor / to+خَاطِئِينَSinners

قَالَ لَا تَثْرِيبَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ ۖ يَغْفِرُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ ۖ وَهُوَ أَرْحَمُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ ﴿92﴾

He said, "No blame will there be upon you today. Allah will forgive you; and He is the most merciful of the merciful."

Is the most MercifulأَرْحَمُI
Of those who showالرَّاحِمِينَIالthe+رَاحِمِينَOf those who show

ٱذْهَبُوا۟ بِقَمِيصِى هَٰذَا فَأَلْقُوهُ عَلَىٰ وَجْهِ أَبِى يَأْتِ بَصِيرًا وَأْتُونِى بِأَهْلِكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ ﴿93﴾

Take this, my shirt, and cast it over the face of my father; he will become seeing. And bring me your family, all together."
