Emphasis in the Jumlah Ismiyyah
إنَّ with pronouns · Lam of emphasis · إنَّمَا · Pronoun of separation
- Attach the 14 pronouns to إنَّ and read them correctly (إِنِّي، إِنَّهُ، إِنَّكَ etc.)
- Recognise the lam of emphasis (لَام التَّوْكِيد) and understand it causes no change in irab
- Combine إنَّ and lam together for double emphasis in a sentence
- Understand how إنَّمَا neutralises the grammatical impact of إنَّ while adding exclusivity
- Use the pronoun of separation (ضَمِيرُ الفَصْل) to make a sentence restrictive in meaning
Video Lesson
Introduction
Having established in Part 1 how إنَّ changes the mubtada to nasab and adds emphasis, Part 2 builds on that foundation with three further tools of emphasis that appear throughout the Quran and hadith. These are the lam of emphasis (لَامُ التَّوْكِيد), the particle إنَّمَا, and the pronoun of separation (ضَمِيرُ الفَصْل). The lesson also covers how to attach all 14 Arabic pronouns to إنَّ — a skill that is immediately practical because إنَّ is used with pronouns on nearly every page of the Quran.
Understanding emphasis in Arabic unlocks a layer of meaning that is almost always lost in translation. When you read "Indeed Allah is forgiving" in English, you cannot tell whether the Arabic has single emphasis, double emphasis, or exclusive emphasis. By the end of this lesson, you will be able to see all three.
Lesson Notes
إنَّ with Attached Pronouns
When the subject of إنَّ is a pronoun (he, she, you, I etc.), you cannot use the detached (rafa) pronoun — هُوَ, أَنْتَ, أَنَا — because إنَّ requires its ism to be in nasab. The attached pronoun must be used instead.
The attached pronoun is written as a suffix to إنَّ and is itself in nasab because of إنَّ.
Example: Instead of إنَّ + هُوَ (impossible — هُوَ is always rafa), we say:
> إِنَّهُ صَالِحٌ — Indeed he is pious.
Here إِنَّهُ = إنَّ + هُ (the attached pronoun). The pronoun هُ is the ism of إنَّ (nasab), and صَالِحٌ is the khabar of إنَّ (rafa).
The 14 pronouns attached to إنَّ:
| Person | Attached form | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| هُوَ | إِنَّهُ | indeed he |
| هُمَا (m) | إِنَّهُمَا | indeed they two |
| هُمْ | إِنَّهُمْ | indeed they (m) |
| هِيَ | إِنَّهَا | indeed she / it |
| هُمَا (f) | إِنَّهُمَا | indeed they two (f) |
| هُنَّ | إِنَّهُنَّ | indeed they (f) |
| أَنْتَ | إِنَّكَ | indeed you (m.sg) |
| أَنْتُمَا | إِنَّكُمَا | indeed you two |
| أَنْتُمْ | إِنَّكُمْ | indeed you (m.pl) |
| أَنْتِ | إِنَّكِ | indeed you (f.sg) |
| أَنْتُمَا | إِنَّكُمَا | indeed you two (f) |
| أَنْتُنَّ | إِنَّكُنَّ | indeed you (f.pl) |
| أَنَا | إِنِّي / إِنَّنِي | indeed I |
| نَحْنُ | إِنَّا / إِنَّنَا | indeed we |
Note on the first person (أَنَا): The ya mutakallim always requires a kasra before it. When attached to إنَّ, either the noon of إنَّ takes a kasra (giving إِنِّي) or a noon of protection (نُونُ الوِقَايَة) is inserted (giving إِنَّنِي). Both are used in the Quran and both are correct.
Detached pronouns (هُوَ، أَنْتَ، أَنَا) are always marfu and cannot follow إنَّ. Use the attached pronoun instead — it becomes the ism of إنَّ in nasab.
The Lam of Emphasis (لَامُ التَّوْكِيد)
The lam of emphasis is a separate tool from إنَّ. It is placed before a word to give emphasis in meaning only — it causes no change whatsoever in the irab of the word it precedes.
When it comes at the beginning of a sentence it is called لَامُ الاِبْتِدَاء (lam of inception):
> لَزَيْدٌ صَادِقٌ — Certainly Zayd is truthful.
No change to the irab. The mubtada remains rafa. The meaning is simply strengthened.
When إنَّ and lam are combined for double emphasis, إنَّ comes first (before the ism) and the lam moves to the khabar. This lam is called اللَّامُ الْمُزَحْلَقَة (the sliding lam) because it slides away from the beginning to sit before the khabar:
> إِنَّ زَيْدًا لَصَادِقٌ — Indeed, Zayd is most certainly truthful.
Here the ism زَيْدًا is in nasab (due to إنَّ) and the lam precedes the khabar صَادِقٌ for double emphasis.
Lam of emphasis: adds emphasis in meaning only — no change to irab. Combined إنَّ + lam: إنَّ before the ism (nasab), the sliding lam before the khabar (rafa). This gives double emphasis.
إنَّمَا — Emphasis with Exclusivity
When the particle مَا is added to إنَّ, forming إِنَّمَا, it is called مَا الكَافَّة (the neutralising ma). It does two things:
- Removes the grammatical impact of إنَّ — so the ism after إنَّمَا remains in rafa, not nasab.
- Adds exclusive meaning — the sentence now means only or nothing but.
> إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ — The believers are nothing but brothers.
Note: الْمُؤْمِنُونَ stays in rafa (marfu) — there is no nasab change because of the neutralising ma.
إنَّمَا = إنَّ + مَا (neutralising ma) The grammatical impact of إنَّ is removed — no nasab. The meaning becomes exclusive: "only" / "nothing but".
إنَّمَا is used 145 times in the Quran.
Pronoun of Separation (ضَمِيرُ الفَصْل)
A pronoun of separation is placed between the mubtada and the khabar to make the meaning exclusive or restrictive. It matches the mubtada in number and gender:
> اللهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ — Allah is the one and only All-Forgiving.
Without the pronoun of separation: اللهُ الْغَفُورُ could be read as a descriptive phrase (mudaf-mudaf ilayhi issue). The pronoun هُوَ between them fixes the meaning as a Jumlah Ismiyyah and adds exclusivity — the forgiveness belongs to Allah alone.
The pronoun of separation can be used together with إنَّ and lam for layered emphasis:
> إِنَّ اللهَ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ — Indeed Allah is the one and only All-Forgiving.
Summary
- The 14 attached pronouns attach directly to إنَّ as its ism (nasab) — the khabar remains rafa. Memorise the full chart: إِنَّهُ، إِنَّهَا، إِنِّي، إِنَّا etc.
- The lam of emphasis adds emphasis in meaning with no change to irab. When combined with إنَّ, the lam slides to sit before the khabar — creating double emphasis (اللَّامُ الْمُزَحْلَقَة).
- إنَّمَا = إنَّ + مَا of neutralisation. It removes the nasab requirement, keeps the word after it in rafa, and adds the exclusive meaning of "only" or "nothing but."
- The pronoun of separation (ضَمِيرُ الفَصْل) sits between mubtada and khabar, makes the sentence restrictive in meaning, and can be combined with إنَّ and lam for triple-layered emphasis.
- Much of this depth of meaning is lost in English translation — learning these tools allows you to read the Quran with far greater understanding of what Allah is actually communicating.

0:00 The language of Quran, easier than English. Assalamu alaikum and welcome to part 2 of lesson 13. Alhamdulillah in part 1 we covered the introduction to inna and in terms of how it changes the sentence, the changes the muqtada subject to mansub or nasab and the khabar is marfu and the subject is called ismu inna and the khabar is called khabaru inna.
0:24 We looked at that as well as how it is changing the meaning from a standardised sentence to one that creates emphasis in meaning. In this lesson inshallah we're going to look at inna with pronouns very commonly used in Quran and hadith. You'll find it many many times and we're going to look at other forms of emphasis for example with a particle of lam we're going to look at it with the to give the meaning of only innama and how to create or make the sentence restrictive in meaning.
0:53 So a lot to cover in this part. So let us begin with the blessed name of Allah making the dua Attaching pronouns with inna. So you have seen previously how to say Hamid is pious.
1:13 So instead of he I can say Hamid here and that will be perfectly fine. So exactly the same structure. So he is pious if I want to say indeed he is pious again please note the word in order because Arabic and English different direction but anyway indeed he so here I cannot use inna plus hua because hua can only be rafa so I have to use the attached pronouns the ones we've been learning in lesson number 8 and 9, 10 and 11.
1:44 There we looked at them being attached to the huruf of jar and also to ism in which both case they were majroor. Here we are attaching to inna which is the harf of nasab and emphasis. So harf of nasab so this the attached pronoun will now be mansub.
2:02 So inna hu again is in nasab so this is nasab you can see that here and again this attached pronoun can be both but in this case because of inna we will say it is mansub and again that is now our ism inna and our khabar inna is salihun. So instead of saying hua salihun I have to say inna hu indeed he is pious. Indeed he is pious.
2:26 So again we can do that with a standard ism or we can also do it with a pronoun which you can see the example here. There's very little difference so inshallah you should be able to recognise these relatively easily. Let's take a quick summary of the attached and detached pronouns.
2:45 The attached pronouns always always are written separately. They're not attached as a suffix to a word in general. So they are written separately and they're always mabni meaning they never change their ending but as far as the arab is concerned they're always always rafa.
3:02 marfu always rafa and of course they're definite all pronouns are definite and hence they're called detached because they're written separately. Attached pronouns on the other hand are used about 9,000 times in the Quran so very very important one almost in every line of Quran they're also mabni and they're also definite but they can be nassab or they can be jar either mansub or majroor either depends on what they're attached to. If they're attached to a verb they will always be mansub we'll cover that in book two inshallah.
3:35 When they're attached to an ism they will be majroor why because mudah mudah ilayhi if they attach to a harf of jar they will be majroor why because they're attached to a harf of jar but when they're attached to inna or the sisters of inna they will be mansub so note about these ones they can be nassab or they can be jar depends on what they are attached to so these are the few points to note about the attached pronouns in Arabic they're very very important
for you to learn them because they're used 9,000 plus times in the Quran on the screen are your detached pronouns the rougher pronouns which I mentioned briefly we learned them in lesson number five I hope you've memorised them exactly as I've shown you before and they are huwa, huma, hum and they have hiya, huma, hunna anta, antuma, antum anti, antuma, antunna ana, nahnu the attached version equivalent of course they're not written on their own they will be always a suffix they are written as hu, huma
and then hum ha, huma, hunna and then we have for anta ka, kuma, kum and then we have ki for anti kuma, kunna and for ana is ya mutakallim ya we do the kasra so i and then nahnu, naa, naa and these are the attached pronouns and I taught you how to learn them with the the huruf remember huruf of jar ba we did it with ila, min, fi, an, ala and all of those inshallah ta'ala in lesson number seven and eight and then we attach
them to rabbuhu like we did rabbuhu, rabbuhuma, rabbuhum rabbuha, rabbuhuma, rabbuhunna rabbuka, rabbukuma, rabbukum rabbuki, rabbukuma, rabbukunna rabbi, rabbuna now these are very very important you see them again and again now we're going to see what happens when we attach them to inna so we have innahu, indeed he innahu, indeed he innahuma, innahum innahu, innahuma, innahum please learn all of these inshallah they will prove to be very very useful because inna is used 1682 times in the Quran then we have innaha, innahuma, innahunna innaka, innakuma,
innakum innaki, innakuma, innakunna and then for indeed I inni, inna, indeed we there's two other versions of these which you need to learn innani, innana, innani, innana so these are your 14 attached pronouns to inna, innahu, indeed he innaha, indeed she or it of course in both cases please write these down and memorise them they will prove to be very very useful in your studies so again as a reminder that's how they're used innahu hakeemun, indeed he is wise and here of course the attached pronoun
hu is read with elongated sound and I've covered this also in the previous lessons because before it there's a fatha so there's a before it a fatha or a dhamma it is read with elongation now we're going to look at what happens with ana now ana when we add ana it's ya, ya ya always likes a kasra before it I mentioned this before for you so we have here for example inna that we want to add ana to it we end up with two ways of
doing it either the noon takes a kasra because the ya always demands a kasra so it becomes inni, indeed I or it becomes innani, indeed I inni, innani, inni, innani for nahnu we have inna, indeed we inna, indeed we and of course we have innana again here there is a noon coming in the middle with innani which you can see and this noon I've covered it before is a noon of protection is called and you'll see it quite often both versions are used please note both
of them inshallah ta'ala the first example the nah gets assimilated with inna and the second one inna is written nah is written separately please note both examples are used so both mean the same thing now brothers and sisters exercise for you I want you to change huwa salihun with inna, anta alimun you are a scholar again using inna at the beginning I'm sure you know what to do let's see how you get on so the first one very easy huwa becomes inna hu salihun indeed he
is pious and the second one anta becomes innaka alimun indeed you are a scholar and then you have here alimatun I want to say she is a scholar so innaha alimatun again I hope this is easy for you inshallah so these are the attached pronouns work with inna the laam of emphasis now we've learned the use of laam already for example laahu for him okay lil muttaqeen for those who have taqwa that is the harf of jar there's another laam which is the laam is done
for emphasis all it does is emphasises there is no change in the arab please note there is no change in the arab okay it will remain exactly the same only thing it does it gives emphasis to the meaning and this laam when it comes at the beginning of the structure like in this case which you can see here laa it is called the laam of inception okay laam of inception don't worry about the mean the terminology for now just look at how it's used so I
say zaydun sadiqun zayd is truthful I want to emphasise this fact so I can instead of using inna like we've seen before I can simply put laa in front and you can see there is no change in the arab is exactly the same so I'm saying certainly zayd is truthful la zaydun sadiqun la zaydun sadiqun so you can see it here and now exactly the same principle with hua and here it will demonstrate this part for you so we have hua sadiqun he is truthful I
want to say certainly he is truthful if I use inna I have to say inna hu but because laa does not change the arab in any way we will say la hua la hua sadiqun certainly he is truthful so laam is used for emphasis no change in the arab of the word it impacts upon in any way whatsoever all we are getting is emphasis in the meaning so this is called the laam of inception when it comes at the beginning it can come in the middle
which we'll look at shortly but please note this emphasis also because it is used quite a lot in the Quran so one example from the Quran you see here wala dhikrullahi akbar wala dhikrullahi akbar so again dhikrullahi on its own you can see is your mudaf and your mudaf ilayhi so mudaf plus mudaf ilayhi the laam comes the change there is no change in the arab of the mudaf same so this is the laam of the laam of emphasis again you can tell the difference between
this one and the laam of harf abjar which can be la or li so it'll be la hu for him and lil mutaqeen for the for the god conscious in that case but this laam is very easy there is no change in the arab so it's easy to recognise so here we have wala dhikrullahi akbar the remembrance of Allah is greater again you can see most cases in English you will not see the translation of the emphasis it's just one of those additional things that are
lost in translation often so the message here is certainly the remembrance of Allah is greater certainly or indeed the remembrance of Allah is greater so again additional meaning there for you by recognising the laam wala dhikrullahi akbar another example again you can see here from the Quran laa khalqu laa khalqu samawati so this is your mudaf and this is your mudaf ilayhi samawatun samawatin because of al it has taken a single kasra instead of tanween so khalqu is your mudaf mudaf ilayhi is your jar and
wa wal ardi and again this is jar also because of the wa is carrying over akbar so certainly the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater is greater than what? than the creation of man meaning the vastness of the universe is far greater to create than one human being in comparison to the vastness of the heavens and the earth but most people do not know wala kinna this we're going to learn later on inshallah it's one of the sisters of inna aksaran nasi and
that is why this is nasab aksaran nasi laa ya'lamoon and but most of the people do not know most of the people do not know again you can see emphasis here created by the laam coming at the beginning which is the laam of inception greater emphasis by combining inna and laa now to create greater emphasis in the structure of the meaning of the sentence i can actually put laam and inna together in that case what happens is that if i'm going to use them both together
inna will come on the first part and laam will come on the second part of the structure of the sentence so for example the first part inna will come before it and the second part which is normally the khabar of inna the laam will come before that but of course you could have it the other way around if the structure changes this laam is actually called the sliding laam meaning it moves from the beginning to the middle of the structure before the second part of the
structure and its name in arabic is called a laam ul muzahlaqa now you can see it here written down again don't worry about the terminology but for now look at the structure zaidun sadiqun zaid is truthful but if i put inna indeed certainly zaid is most certainly truthful again double emphasis yeah i'm reminding again and again most of this is lost in translation so you have to really look at the structure to get the deeper meaning of what we're reading in the quran so inna indeed
zaid most certainly is truthful again normally in english you will not translate like that so this is a double emphasis by combining the two things together and very commonly used in the quran another example here huwa sadiqun he is truthful again i'm saying indeed or certainly he is indeed truthful which you can see here and again the laam comes in here indeed he is most certainly truthful or certainly he is indeed truthful whichever way you want to emphasise that but there is double emphasis on the
fact that this person is a very truthful person so you can see that inshallah in the structure single emphasis double emphasis that are done on the screen there inshallah please write the above examples down in your notebook these will help you remember all the rules i'm telling you so far inshallah and you'll find them very useful in your study so let's begin with the first one this is your standard sentence standard jumla ismiya mubtada khabar haamidun hakeemun haamid is wise but if i wanted to emphasise
with the laam just the laam on its own i would say laa haamidun hakeemun certainly haamid is wise but if i wanted to use inna i have to change inna haamidan so this becomes nasab because of inna inna haamidan hakeemun if i wanted to double emphasise i would put inna haamidan laa hakeemun again you can see the double emphasis here one caused by inna which has an impact on its irab and of course but the meaning is double emphasis exactly the same with the second example
meaning he is intelligent but if i want to say certainly certainly again i'm emphasising now i cannot use because inna needs it to be mansub so inna hu and the last example and you can see here again certainly indeed certainly he is intelligent so you can see here now double emphasis so take a moment to write these down inshallah ta'ala in your notebook and all these complexities should be becoming very very easy for you inshallah so here are some examples from the quran very common some
of these you probably remember yourself again you can see here inna shirk laa dhulmun azeem how emphasis allah is putting on the meaning here indeed shirk is the most is most certainly a tremendous wrong tremendous heinous crime is to commit shirk again you can see here dhulmun azeem indeed the shirk shirk is the greatest of wrongs so inna shirk laa dhulmun azeem indeed certainly shirk is most certainly a great crime again a very beautiful example which most of us have memorised surah asr indeed mankind most
certainly is in loss indeed mankind most certainly is in total loss absolute loss for mankind explained in this first part again you can see here surely or certainly you are indeed most certainly the messenger of allah double emphasis on the meaning here allah azza wa jal is emphasising the the noble character of our beloved prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam you most certainly upon outstanding character this is emphasising the importance and the nobility of his character and he is surely excessive in his love for wealth meaning
the person that's been described here loves the dunya so much and that is excessive in his love again double emphasis given on the meaning i hope inshallah these examples are now coming to light most of the structure should be able to recognise inshallah based upon the last 11 lessons and every time you're learning something new is adding additional meaning which you will see often is lost in translation again keep on making dua keep on practising and by allah's mercy it will become easier and easier for
us to begin to understand the quran in arabic the ma of neutralisation ma of neutralisation sounds a bit weird but look it's a very simple concept when you add ma to inna anna it can be added also to the other so it can be added to those but most commonly it is added to inna and anna so we'll go through these and in the lecture section inshallah go through the others in briefly for you but this is the most common normally it is translated in english
as only only what it does it gives not only it gives emphasis to the meaning but it gives some sort of exclusivity to the meaning so the ma when you add it to inna it neutralises the impact of inna anna to make it mansub and that is why it's called the ma of neutralisation so it is very frequently used in the quran 145 times so it removes the grammatical impact of inna anna whichever it is and it's no longer mansub so look at this structure here
again standard we have the believers are brothers believers are brothers very easy simple but if i put i want to emphasise their brotherhood i would say indeed the believers are brothers so again i'm emphasising brotherhood in islam but if i say then there is no change in the arab here because the ma has come and neutralised the impact but the emphasis in the meaning is still there but this also gives us some exclusivity meaning the believers are nothing else than brothers okay only this fact that
they are only brothers meaning there should be nothing between muslims apart from brotherhood so allah subhanahu wa ta'ala is reminding us in this ayah by emphasising using innama the emphasis on brotherhood the believers are nothing else than brothers again this is an example from the quran and innama is used very very frequently so please pay attention to this all it does is neutralises the impact or the grammatical impact i.e it will not be mansub as we've seen with inna there in the example please again write
these three down in your notes and they will help you remember the change in the meaning the more deeper meaning as well as the grammatical impacts on the screen now we have another example using innama so you can see here innama al-maseehu okay of course he's talking about christ maseeh that means the messiah okay Isa the son of mary alayhi salam may peace be upon him rasoolullah the messenger of allah so i'm again i'm not going to make the video too long but briefly you can
see that this is mudaf and this is mudaf alayhi i hope you can see that inshallah innama there is no change in the irab and of course this is is saying the messiah and then this bit is additional information about who the messiah is so without that bit we would still know that it is of course referring to isa alayhi salam this is additional there so isa the son of the messiah the son of mary okay was only please pay attention to that only so you
know you made him into a god but he is nothing but the messenger of allah he was only a messenger of allah so innama still giving our exclusivity there was nothing but what has been described here so isa alayhi salam did all those miracles by the permission of allah azza wajal by the will of allah azza wajal but he was only the messenger of allah only the messenger of allah and this is what has been emphasised in this section here this example of course is from
very famous hadith i'm sure you all know it innama only okay al a'malu this is the this is a plural broken plural okay a'mal is the singular word a'malun means action a'malu means actions actions more than one plural not two or more i should say three or more so al a'malu the actions binniya b is your harf of jar this word niya is singular and this is your sound feminine plural so only the actions upon or on the intentions or in or with the intentions so
you can see how the translators have translated that the result of what you do is based purely on the intention if the action that you do the actions that you do are for the sake of allah azza wajal they will bear fruits in this world and in the hereafter and of course reward will be even that act is good but it's done for some other intention the reward will not be in akhira so the in the reward in akhira is based upon the intention for whom
have you done this particular task may allah grant us all tawfiq to purify our intentions and do things for the sake of allah azza wajal making jumla ismiya restrictive the next topic is relatively easy we've already seen it briefly in the previous lesson when we did the demonstratives or the pointing words where we brought what's called a pronoun of separation pronoun of separation and this pronoun separation was between mubtada and the khabar mubtada and the khabar we saw that earlier inshallah ta'ala so what does this
do it actually makes the meaning of only or exclusivity similar to innama what we've seen but this gives us exclusivity so when we say allahu ghafoorun if i were to put the pronoun of separation and put al afterwards allahu al ghafoorun now that could be also a descriptive phrase but if i put the pronoun of separation in the middle allahu huwa al ghafoorun allahu huwa al ghafoorun allah is the one and only all forgiving meaning allah is the only forgiver so i'm again expressing that expression
rather than saying allah is forgiving allah is the forgiver or allah is the one who forgives again we are exclusively keeping the meaning restricted of forgiveness to allah azza wajal of course that is the message we cannot seek forgiveness from anyone other than allah those are the successful ones but if i put and put the hum in bracket and please note the pronoun separation will match this in number and gender and we've seen that previously so we have hum of course and i explained to you
why this dhamma comes because of the meeting of two sukoons so it is those who are the successful ones meaning these those been spoken about earlier are the only successful ones so if you want to be successful i want to be successful we need to look at these qualities that are mentioned here it is indeed the quran which is the truth so the truth is found exclusively in the quran and of course by that also their explanation given in the hadith of the prophet and the
sunnah is the living quran and as we know in the example of our noble prophet so this is how we create exclusivity in the meaning by using the pronouns of separation you will find on some occasions the pronoun of separation is not written it is expressed in the context and it is not necessary and this is quite common in arabic as well as also in english we have which is of course in surah ikhlas here we can say that this is the similar structure where the
huwa is not necessary to write but the emphasis is there the exclusivity is there allah is the self-sufficient again the same thing here up to there and with the huwa there which you can see is there which is coming for again you can see that here the emphasis and the exclusivity this is the great success this is the great success so the great success is based upon this exclusivity again you can see the context inshallah ta'ala so please be aware there are occasions when the message
is restrictive and it's emphasised but not always that the pronoun separation will always be written and this pronoun of separation is also used with inna and other emphases as well which you can see here so we have exclusivity emphasis a lot of depth and meaning which is not normally seen so again you can see here allah is forgiving here i'm saying so this is again so originally we can say allahu huwa al-ghafoor inna coming in taking into inna allaha again you can see so indeed allah
is the only forgiver there are you will get in arabic so many structures that you can't often you'll have to write sentences and sentences to explain but you can see the emphasis that's already here again you can see these two are of course again there is no change this is huwa here the here version so here the laam does not change the arab at all so you're using the detached pronoun hayawan and you can you can see here verily the home of the hereafter that is
the life indeed meaning this life in this world a short 20 40 60 100 years allah knows best but the life in the hereafter is the real life because it is ongoing it is everlasting and that is the emphasis given in the meaning here so inshallah i've seen many different combinations of creating emphasis exclusivity and so on in arabic and now after lesson number 13 we are beginning to appreciate them as well as the other structures that we have learned so alhamdulillah we're going to conclude
the video here alhamdulillah we've completed part two and by now we've covered a lot of content and i hope and pray the way the videos are being made they are of benefit in your learning you're benefiting and your understanding is developing from lesson by lesson inshallah what is remaining now is to look at how inna and other particles like inna they call inna and her sisters there are six of them in total these six how they're used and they're very frequently used in the quran again
