إِذْ يَقُولُ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ غَرَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ دِينُهُمْ ۗ وَمَن يَتَوَكَّلْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ ﴿49﴾

[Remember] when the hypocrites and those in whose hearts was disease said, "Their religion has deluded those [Muslims]." But whoever relies upon Allah - then indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.

The hypocritesالْمُنَافِقُونَIالthe+مُنَافِقُونَHypocrites
And those whoوَالَّذِينَCBICONJ+RELوَand+الَّذِينَThose who
InفِيH
Their heartsقُلُوبِهِمْCBIN+PRONATTقُلُوبِTheir hearts+هِمْthem / their
Was a diseaseمَرَضٌI
Had deludedغَرَّF
These peopleهَؤُلَاءِI
Their religionدِينُهُمْCBIN+PRONATTدِينُTheir religion+هُمْthem / their
But whoeverوَمَنْCBICONJ+CONDوَand+مَنْBut whoever
Puts his trustيَتَوَكَّلْF
InعَلَىH
AllahاللَّهِI
Then indeedفَإِنَّCBHCONJ+ACCفَso / then+إِنَّIndeed
AllahاللَّهَI
Is all mightyعَزِيزٌI
All wiseحَكِيمٌI

وَلَوْ تَرَىٰٓ إِذْ يَتَوَفَّى ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۙ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ يَضْرِبُونَ وُجُوهَهُمْ وَأَدْبَٰرَهُمْ وَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابَ ٱلْحَرِيقِ ﴿50﴾

And if you could but see when the angels take the souls of those who disbelieved... They are striking their faces and their backs and [saying], "Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire.

Take away soulsيَتَوَفَّىF
Of those whoالَّذِينَI
DisbelieveكَفَرُواF
The angelsالْمَلَائِكَةُIالthe+مَلَائِكَةُAngels
StrikingيَضْرِبُونَF
Their facesوُجُوهَهُمْCBIN+PRONATTوُجُوهَTheir faces+هُمْthem / their
And their backsوَأَدْبَارَهُمْCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+أَدْبَارَTheir backs+هُمْthem / their
TasteوَذُوقُواCBFCONJ+Vوَand+ذُوقُواTaste
The punishmentعَذَابَI
Of the blazing fireالْحَرِيقِIالthe+حَرِيقِOf the blazing fire

ذَٰلِكَ بِمَا قَدَّمَتْ أَيْدِيكُمْ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَيْسَ بِظَلَّٰمٍ لِّلْعَبِيدِ ﴿51﴾

That is for what your hands have put forth [of evil] and because Allah is not ever unjust to His servants."

Sent forthقَدَّمَتْF
Your handsأَيْدِيكُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَيْدِيYour hands+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
And indeedوَأَنَّCBHCONJ+ACCوَand+أَنَّIndeed
AllahاللَّهَI
Is notلَيْسَF
UnjustبِظَلَّامٍCBIP+Nبِwith / in+ظَلَّامٍUnjust
To his slavesلِلْعَبِيدِCBIP+Nلِلfor the+عَبِيدِHis slaves

كَدَأْبِ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ ۙ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَفَرُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمْ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ قَوِىٌّ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ ﴿52﴾

[Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They disbelieved in the signs of Allah, so Allah seized them for their sins. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and severe in penalty.

They disbelievedكَفَرُواF
In the signsبِآيَاتِCBIP+Nبِwith / in+آيَاتِThe signs
Of AllahاللَّهِI
So Allah seized themفَأَخَذَهُمُCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+أَخَذَAllah seized+هُمُthem / their
So Allah seized themاللَّهُI
For their sinsبِذُنُوبِهِمْCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+ذُنُوبِFor their sins+هِمْthem / their
IndeedإِنَّH
AllahاللَّهَI
Is all strongقَوِيٌّI
And severeشَدِيدُI
In the penaltyالْعِقَابِIالthe+عِقَابِIn the penalty

ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَمْ يَكُ مُغَيِّرًا نِّعْمَةً أَنْعَمَهَا عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍ حَتَّىٰ يُغَيِّرُوا۟ مَا بِأَنفُسِهِمْ ۙ وَأَنَّ ٱللَّهَ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ ﴿53﴾

That is because Allah would not change a favor which He had bestowed upon a people until they change what is within themselves. And indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.

UntilحَتَّىH
They changeيُغَيِّرُواF
WhatمَاI
Is in themselvesبِأَنْفُسِهِمْCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+أَنْفُسِIs in+هِمْthem / their
And indeedوَأَنَّCBHCONJ+ACCوَand+أَنَّIndeed
AllahاللَّهَI
Is all hearingسَمِيعٌI
All knowingعَلِيمٌI

كَدَأْبِ ءَالِ فِرْعَوْنَ ۙ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۚ كَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَهْلَكْنَٰهُم بِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَأَغْرَقْنَآ ءَالَ فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ وَكُلٌّ كَانُوا۟ ظَٰلِمِينَ ﴿54﴾

[Theirs is] like the custom of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them. They denied the signs of their Lord, so We destroyed them for their sins, and We drowned the people of Pharaoh. And all [of them] were wrongdoers.

So we destroyed themفَأَهْلَكْنَاهُمْCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+أَهْلَكْنَاWe destroyed+هُمْthem / their
For their sinsبِذُنُوبِهِمْCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+ذُنُوبِFor their sins+هِمْthem / their
And we drownedوَأَغْرَقْنَاCBFCONJ+Vوَand+أَغْرَقْنَاWe drowned
The people of PharaohآلَI
The people of PharaohفِرْعَوْنَI
And they allوَكُلٌّCBICONJ+Nوَand+كُلٌّThey all
WereكَانُواF
WrongdoersظَالِمِينَI

إِنَّ شَرَّ ٱلدَّوَآبِّ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فَهُمْ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿55﴾

Indeed, the worst of living creatures in the sight of Allah are those who have disbelieved, and they will not [ever] believe -

NearعِنْدَI
AllahاللَّهِI
Are those whoالَّذِينَI

And theyفَهُمْCBICONJ+PRONSUBJفَso / then+هُمْAnd they
Will notلَاH
BelieveيُؤْمِنُونَF

ٱلَّذِينَ عَٰهَدتَّ مِنْهُمْ ثُمَّ يَنقُضُونَ عَهْدَهُمْ فِى كُلِّ مَرَّةٍ وَهُمْ لَا يَتَّقُونَ ﴿56﴾

The ones with whom you made a treaty but then they break their pledge every time, and they do not fear Allah.

You made a covenant with themعَاهَدْتَF

[in] everyفِيH

TimeمَرَّةٍI
And theyوَهُمْCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+هُمْThey
Do notلَاH
Fear AllahيَتَّقُونَF

فَإِمَّا تَثْقَفَنَّهُمْ فِى ٱلْحَرْبِ فَشَرِّدْ بِهِم مَّنْ خَلْفَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُونَ ﴿57﴾

So if you, [O Muhammad], gain dominance over them in war, disperse by [means of] them those behind them that perhaps they will be reminded.

So ifفَإِمَّاCBHCONJ+EXLفَso / then+إِنْif=مَاever
You gain dominance over themتَثْقَفَنَّهُمْCBFV+PRONATTتَثْقَفَYou gain dominance over them+نَّemphasis+هُمْthem / their
InفِيH
The warالْحَرْبِIالthe+حَرْبِWar
DisperseفَشَرِّدْCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+شَرِّدْDisperse
By themبِهِمْCBHP+PRONATTبِwith / in+هِمْthem / their
Those whoمَنْI
Are behind themخَلْفَهُمْCBIN+PRONATTخَلْفَAre behind+هُمْthem / their
So that they mayلَعَلَّهُمْCBHACC+PRONATTلَعَلَّSo that they may+هُمْthem / their
Take heedيَذَّكَّرُونَF

وَإِمَّا تَخَافَنَّ مِن قَوْمٍ خِيَانَةً فَٱنۢبِذْ إِلَيْهِمْ عَلَىٰ سَوَآءٍ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْخَآئِنِينَ ﴿58﴾

If you [have reason to] fear from a people betrayal, throw [their treaty] back to them, [putting you] on equal terms. Indeed, Allah does not like traitors.
