تَنزِيلُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَكِيمِ ﴿1﴾
The revelation of the Qur'an is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise.

Indeed, We have sent down to you the Book, [O Muhammad], in truth. So worship Allah, [being] sincere to Him in religion.

Unquestionably, for Allah is the pure religion. And those who take protectors besides Him [say], "We only worship them that they may bring us nearer to Allah in position." Indeed, Allah will judge between them concerning that over which they differ. Indeed, Allah does not guide he who is a liar and [confirmed] disbeliever.

If Allah had intended to take a son, He could have chosen from what He creates whatever He willed. Exalted is He; He is Allah, the One, the Prevailing.

He created the heavens and earth in truth. He wraps the night over the day and wraps the day over the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. Unquestionably, He is the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver.

← read from right to left1He createdخَلَقَkhalaqaF 2The heavensالسَّمَاوَاتِl-samawatiIالthe+سَمَوَاتِHeavens 3And the earthوَالْأَرْضَwal-ardaCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+أَرْضَEarth 4In [the] truthبِالْحَقِّbil-haqiCBIP+Nبِwith / in+الthe+حَقِّ[the] truth 5He wrapsيُكَوِّرُyukawwiruF 6The nightاللَّيْلَal-laylaIالthe+لَيْلَNight 8The dayالنَّهَارِl-nahariIالthe+نَهَارِDay 9And wrapsوَيُكَوِّرُwayukawwiruCBFCONJ+Vوَand+يُكَوِّرُWraps 10The dayالنَّهَارَl-naharaIالthe+نَهَارَDay 12The nightاللَّيْلِal-layliIالthe+لَيْلِNight 13And he subjectedوَسَخَّرَwasakharaCBFCONJ+Vوَand+سَخَّرَHe subjected 14The sunالشَّمْسَl-shamsaIالthe+شَمْسَSun 15And the moonوَالْقَمَرَwal-qamaraCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+قَمَرَMoon 18For a termلِأَجَلٍli-ajalinCBIP+Nلِfor / to+أَجَلٍA term 19SpecifiedمُسَمًّىmusammanI 20UnquestionablyأَلَاalaHأَنْthat=لَاnot 22Is the all mightyالْعَزِيزُl-'azizuIالthe+عَزِيزُIs the all mighty 23The oft forgivingالْغَفَّارُl-ghafaruIالthe+غَفَّارُOft forgiving خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَٰحِدَةٍ ثُمَّ جَعَلَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَأَنزَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ ثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَزْوَٰجٍ ۚ يَخْلُقُكُمْ فِى بُطُونِ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْ خَلْقًا مِّنۢ بَعْدِ خَلْقٍ فِى ظُلُمَٰتٍ ثَلَٰثٍ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ لَهُ ٱلْمُلْكُ ۖ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُصْرَفُونَ ﴿6﴾
He created you from one soul. Then He made from it its mate, and He produced for you from the grazing livestock eight mates. He creates you in the wombs of your mothers, creation after creation, within three darknesses. That is Allah, your Lord; to Him belongs dominion. There is no deity except Him, so how are you averted?

← read from right to left1He created youخَلَقَكُمْkhalaqakumCBFV+PRONATTخَلَقَHe created+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 4SingleوَاحِدَةٍwahidatinI 7From itمِنْهَاminhaCBHP+PRONATTمِنْFrom+هَاher / it / its 8Its mateزَوْجَهَاzawjahaCBIN+PRONATTزَوْجَIts mate+هَاher / it / its 9And he sent downوَأَنْزَلَwa-anzalaCBFCONJ+Vوَand+أَنْزَلَHe sent down 10For youلَكُمْlakumCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 12The cattleالْأَنْعَامِl-an'amiIالthe+أَنْعَامِCattle 13EightثَمَانِيَةَthamaniyataI 15He creates youيَخْلُقُكُمْyakhluqukumCBFV+PRONATTيَخْلُقُHe creates+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 17The wombsبُطُونِbutuniI 18Of your mothersأُمَّهَاتِكُمْummahatikumCBIN+PRONATTأُمَّهَاتِOf your mothers+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 19CreationخَلْقًاkhalqanI 24Darkness[es]ظُلُمَاتٍzulumatinI 28Your LordرَبُّكُمْrabbukumCBIN+PRONATTرَبُّYour Lord+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 29For himلَهُlahuCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+هُhim / his / it 30Is the dominionالْمُلْكُl-mulkuIالthe+مُلْكُIs the dominion 33ExceptإِلَّاillaHإِنْif=لَاnot 35Then howفَأَنَّىfa-annaCBICONJ+INTGفَso / then+أَنَّىHow 36Are you turning awayتُصْرَفُونَtusrafunaF إِن تَكْفُرُوا۟ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَنِىٌّ عَنكُمْ ۖ وَلَا يَرْضَىٰ لِعِبَادِهِ ٱلْكُفْرَ ۖ وَإِن تَشْكُرُوا۟ يَرْضَهُ لَكُمْ ۗ وَلَا تَزِرُ وَازِرَةٌ وِزْرَ أُخْرَىٰ ۗ ثُمَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُم مَّرْجِعُكُمْ فَيُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَلِيمٌۢ بِذَاتِ ٱلصُّدُورِ ﴿7﴾
If you disbelieve - indeed, Allah is Free from need of you. And He does not approve for His servants disbelief. And if you are grateful, He approves it for you; and no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return, and He will inform you about what you used to do. Indeed, He is Knowing of that within the breasts.

← read from right to left2You disbelieveتَكْفُرُواtakfuruF 3Then indeedفَإِنَّfa-innaCBHCONJ+ACCفَso / then+إِنَّIndeed 5Is free from needغَنِيٌّghaniyyunI 6Of youعَنْكُمْ'ankumCBHP+PRONATTعَنْOf+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 9In his slavesلِعِبَادِهِli'ibadihiCBIP+N+PRONATTلِfor / to+عِبَادِIn his slaves+هِhim / his / it 10Ungratefulnessالْكُفْرَl-kufraIالthe+كُفْرَUngratefulness 12You are gratefulتَشْكُرُواtashkuruF 13He likes itيَرْضَهُyardahuCBFV+PRONATTيَرْضَHe likes+هُhim / his / it 14In youلَكُمْlakumCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 17Bearer of burdensوَازِرَةٌwaziratunI 19Of anotherأُخْرَىukhraI 22Your LordرَبِّكُمْrabbikumCBIN+PRONATTرَبِّYour Lord+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 23Is your returnمَرْجِعُكُمْmarji'ukumCBIN+PRONATTمَرْجِعُIs your return+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 24Then he will inform youفَيُنَبِّئُكُمْfayunabbi'ukumCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+يُنَبِّئُHe will inform+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 25About whatبِمَاbimaCBIP+RELبِwith / in+مَاAbout what 26You used toكُنْتُمْkuntumF 27Doتَعْمَلُونَta'malunaF 28Indeed heإِنَّهُinnahuCBHACC+PRONATTإِنَّIndeed he+هُhim / his / it 29Is the all knowerعَلِيمٌ'alimunI 30Of what is in the breastsبِذَاتِbidhatiCBIP+Nبِwith / in+ذَاتِOf what is in the breasts 31Of what is in the breastsالصُّدُورِl-suduriIالthe+صُدُورِOf what is in the breasts وَإِذَا مَسَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ ضُرٌّ دَعَا رَبَّهُۥ مُنِيبًا إِلَيْهِ ثُمَّ إِذَا خَوَّلَهُۥ نِعْمَةً مِّنْهُ نَسِىَ مَا كَانَ يَدْعُوٓا۟ إِلَيْهِ مِن قَبْلُ وَجَعَلَ لِلَّهِ أَندَادًا لِّيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِهِۦ ۚ قُلْ تَمَتَّعْ بِكُفْرِكَ قَلِيلًا ۖ إِنَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلنَّارِ ﴿8﴾
And when adversity touches man, he calls upon his Lord, turning to Him [alone]; then when He bestows on him a favor from Himself, he forgets Him whom he called upon before, and he attributes to Allah equals to mislead [people] from His way. Say, "Enjoy your disbelief for a little; indeed, you are of the companions of the Fire."

← read from right to left1And whenوَإِذَاwa-idhaCBICONJ+Tوَand+إِذَاWhen 3[the] manالْإِنْسَانَl-insanaIالthe+إِنْسَانَ[the] man 6His LordرَبَّهُrabbahuCBIN+PRONATTرَبَّHis Lord+هُhim / his / it 8To himإِلَيْهِilayhiCBHP+PRONATTإِلَىTo+هِhim / his / it 11He bestows on himخَوَّلَهُkhawwalahuCBFV+PRONATTخَوَّلَHe bestows on+هُhim / his / it 12A favorنِعْمَةًni'matanI 13From himselfمِنْهُminhuCBHP+PRONATTمِنْFrom himself+هُhim / his / it 14He forgetsنَسِيَnasiyaF 16He used to callكَانَkanaF 17He used to callيَدْعُوyad'uF 18[to] himإِلَيْهِilayhiCBHP+PRONATTإِلَى[to]+هِhim / his / it 21And he sets upوَجَعَلَwaja'alaCBFCONJ+Vوَand+جَعَلَHe sets up 22To AllahلِلَّهِlillahiCBIP+PNلِfor / to+اللَّهِAllah 23RivalsأَنْدَادًاandadanI 24To misleadلِيُضِلَّliyudillaCBFP+Vلِfor / to+يُضِلَّMislead 26His pathسَبِيلِهِsabilihiCBIN+PRONATTسَبِيلِHis path+هِhim / his / it 28Enjoyتَمَتَّعْtamatta'F 29In your disbeliefبِكُفْرِكَbikufrikaCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+كُفْرِYour disbelief+كَyou / your 30For a littleقَلِيلًاqalilanI 33The companionsأَصْحَابِashabiI 34Of the fireالنَّارِl-nariIالthe+نَارِOf the fire أَمَّنْ هُوَ قَٰنِتٌ ءَانَآءَ ٱلَّيْلِ سَاجِدًا وَقَآئِمًا يَحْذَرُ ٱلْءَاخِرَةَ وَيَرْجُوا۟ رَحْمَةَ رَبِّهِۦ ۗ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِى ٱلَّذِينَ يَعْلَمُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ۗ إِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ ﴿9﴾
Is one who is devoutly obedient during periods of the night, prostrating and standing [in prayer], fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, [like one who does not]? Say, "Are those who know equal to those who do not know?" Only they will remember [who are] people of understanding.
