يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِىُّ ٱتَّقِ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُطِعِ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ وَٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا ﴿1﴾
O Prophet, fear Allah and do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Indeed, Allah is ever Knowing and Wise.

And follow that which is revealed to you from your Lord. Indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.

And rely upon Allah; and sufficient is Allah as Disposer of affairs.

← read from right to left1And put your trustوَتَوَكَّلْwatawakkalCBFCONJ+Vوَand+تَوَكَّلْPut your trust 4And Allah is sufficientوَكَفَىwakafaCBFCONJ+Vوَand+كَفَىAllah is sufficient 5And Allah is sufficientبِاللَّهِbil-lahiCBIP+PNبِwith / in+اللَّهِAnd Allah is sufficient 6As disposer of affairsوَكِيلًاwakilanI مَّا جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ لِرَجُلٍ مِّن قَلْبَيْنِ فِى جَوْفِهِۦ ۚ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَزْوَٰجَكُمُ ٱلَّٰٓـِٔى تُظَٰهِرُونَ مِنْهُنَّ أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْ ۚ وَمَا جَعَلَ أَدْعِيَآءَكُمْ أَبْنَآءَكُمْ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمْ قَوْلُكُم بِأَفْوَٰهِكُمْ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ يَقُولُ ٱلْحَقَّ وَهُوَ يَهْدِى ٱلسَّبِيلَ ﴿4﴾
Allah has not made for a man two hearts in his interior. And He has not made your wives whom you declare unlawful your mothers. And he has not made your adopted sons your [true] sons. That is [merely] your saying by your mouths, but Allah says the truth, and He guides to the [right] way.

← read from right to left2Allah has madeجَعَلَja'alaF 3Allah has madeاللَّهُl-lahuI 4For any manلِرَجُلٍlirajulinCBIP+Nلِfor / to+رَجُلٍAny man 6Two heartsقَلْبَيْنِqalbayniI 8His interiorجَوْفِهِjawfihiCBIN+PRONATTجَوْفِHis interior+هِhim / his / it 10He has madeجَعَلَja'alaF 11Your wivesأَزْوَاجَكُمُazwajakumuCBIN+PRONATTأَزْوَاجَYour wives+كُمُyou / your (pl.) 13You declare unlawfulتُظَاهِرُونَtuzahirunaF 14[of them]مِنْهُنَّminhunnaCBHP+PRONATTمِنْ[of them]+هُنَّthem / their (f.) 15As your mothersأُمَّهَاتِكُمْummahatikumCBIN+PRONATTأُمَّهَاتِAs your mothers+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 17He has madeجَعَلَja'alaF 18Your adopted sonsأَدْعِيَاءَكُمْad'iya'akumCBIN+PRONATTأَدْعِيَاءَYour adopted sons+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 19Your sonsأَبْنَاءَكُمْabna'akumCBIN+PRONATTأَبْنَاءَYour sons+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 21Is your sayingقَوْلُكُمْqawlukumCBIN+PRONATTقَوْلُIs your saying+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 22By your mouthsبِأَفْوَاهِكُمْbi-afwahikumCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+أَفْوَاهِYour mouths+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 23But Allahوَاللَّهُwal-lahuCBICONJ+PNوَand+اللَّهُBut Allah 25The truthالْحَقَّl-haqaIالthe+حَقَّTruth 28To the wayالسَّبِيلَl-sabilaIالthe+سَبِيلَTo the way ٱدْعُوهُمْ لِءَابَآئِهِمْ هُوَ أَقْسَطُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ فَإِن لَّمْ تَعْلَمُوٓا۟ ءَابَآءَهُمْ فَإِخْوَٰنُكُمْ فِى ٱلدِّينِ وَمَوَٰلِيكُمْ ۚ وَلَيْسَ عَلَيْكُمْ جُنَاحٌ فِيمَآ أَخْطَأْتُم بِهِۦ وَلَٰكِن مَّا تَعَمَّدَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورًا رَّحِيمًا ﴿5﴾
Call them by [the names of] their fathers; it is more just in the sight of Allah. But if you do not know their fathers - then they are [still] your brothers in religion and those entrusted to you. And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred but [only for] what your hearts intended. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.

← read from right to left1Call themادْعُوهُمْid'uhumCBFV+PRONATTادْعُوCall+هُمْthem / their 2By their fathersلِآبَائِهِمْli-aba'ihimCBIP+N+PRONATTلِfor / to+آبَائِBy their fathers+هِمْthem / their 4Is more justأَقْسَطُaqsatuI 9You knowتَعْلَمُواta'lamuF 10Their fathersآبَاءَهُمْaba'ahumCBIN+PRONATTآبَاءَTheir fathers+هُمْthem / their 11Then they are your brothersفَإِخْوَانُكُمْfa-ikhwanukumCBICONJ+N+PRONATTفَso / then+إِخْوَانُThey are your brothers+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 13[the] religionالدِّينِl-diniIالthe+دِينِ[the] religion 14And your friendsوَمَوَالِيكُمْwamawalikumCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+مَوَالِيYour friends+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 15But not isوَلَيْسَwalaysaCBFCONJ+Vوَand+لَيْسَBut not is 16Upon youعَلَيْكُمْ'alaykumCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىUpon+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 17Any blameجُنَاحٌjunahunI 18In whatفِيمَاfimaCBIP+RELفِso / then+يمَاIn what 19You made a mistakeأَخْطَأْتُمْakhta'tumF 20In itبِهِbihiCBHP+PRONATTبِwith / in+هِhim / his / it 23Intendedتَعَمَّدَتْta'ammadatFعَنabout / from=مَاwhat 24Your heartsقُلُوبُكُمْqulubukumCBIN+PRONATTقُلُوبُYour hearts+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 25And AllahوَكَانَwakanaCBFCONJ+Vوَand+كَانَAllah 26And Allahاللَّهُl-lahuI 27Is oft forgivingغَفُورًاghafuranI 28Most MercifulرَحِيمًاrahimanI ٱلنَّبِىُّ أَوْلَىٰ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ أَنفُسِهِمْ ۖ وَأَزْوَٰجُهُۥٓ أُمَّهَٰتُهُمْ ۗ وَأُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَرْحَامِ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلَىٰ بِبَعْضٍ فِى كِتَٰبِ ٱللَّهِ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُهَٰجِرِينَ إِلَّآ أَن تَفْعَلُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰٓ أَوْلِيَآئِكُم مَّعْرُوفًا ۚ كَانَ ذَٰلِكَ فِى ٱلْكِتَٰبِ مَسْطُورًا ﴿6﴾
The Prophet is more worthy of the believers than themselves, and his wives are [in the position of] their mothers. And those of [blood] relationship are more entitled [to inheritance] in the decree of Allah than the [other] believers and the emigrants, except that you may do to your close associates a kindness [through bequest]. That was in the Book inscribed.

And [mention, O Muhammad], when We took from the prophets their covenant and from you and from Noah and Abraham and Moses and Jesus, the son of Mary; and We took from them a solemn covenant.

That He may question the truthful about their truth. And He has prepared for the disbelievers a painful punishment.
