Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" and they will not be tried?

← read from right to left1Do thinkأَحَسِبَahasibaCBFINTG+Vأَis it? / did?+حَسِبَThink 2The peopleالنَّاسُl-nasuIالthe+نَاسُPeople 4They will be leftيُتْرَكُواyutrakuF 6They sayيَقُولُواyaquluF 7We believeآمَنَّاamannaF 9Will not be testedلَاlaH 10Will not be testedيُفْتَنُونَyuftanunaF وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ ۖ فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا۟ وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَ ﴿3﴾
But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars.

Or do those who do evil deeds think they can outrun Us? Evil is what they judge.

Whoever should hope for the meeting with Allah - indeed, the term decreed by Allah is coming. And He is the Hearing, the Knowing.

And whoever strives only strives for [the benefit of] himself. Indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds.

← read from right to left3Then onlyفَإِنَّمَاfa-innamaCBHCONJ+ACCفَso / then+إِنَّindeed=مَاonly 4He strivesيُجَاهِدُyujahiduF 5For himselfلِنَفْسِهِlinafsihiCBIP+N+PRONATTلِfor / to+نَفْسِHimself+هِhim / his / it 8Is free from needلَغَنِيٌّlaghaniyyunCBILAM+Nلَfor / to+غَنِيٌّIs free from need 10The worldsالْعَالَمِينَl-'alaminaIالthe+عَالَمِينَWorlds وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَنُكَفِّرَنَّ عَنْهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْ أَحْسَنَ ٱلَّذِى كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿7﴾
And those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will surely remove from them their misdeeds and will surely reward them according to the best of what they used to do.

← read from right to left1And those whoوَالَّذِينَwa-alladhinaCBICONJ+RELوَand+الَّذِينَThose who 3And doوَعَمِلُواwa'amiluCBFCONJ+Vوَand+عَمِلُواDo 4Righteous deedsالصَّالِحَاتِl-salihatiIالthe+صَالِحَاتِRighteous deeds 5Surely we will removeلَنُكَفِّرَنَّlanukaffirannaCBFLAM+V+PRONATTلَfor / to+نُكَفِّرَSurely we will remove+نَّemphasis 6From themعَنْهُمْ'anhumCBHP+PRONATTعَنْFrom+هُمْthem / their 7Their evil deedsسَيِّئَاتِهِمْsayyi'atihimCBIN+PRONATTسَيِّئَاتِTheir evil deeds+هِمْthem / their 8And we will surely reward themوَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْwalanajziyannahumCBFCONJ+LAM+V+PRONATTوَand+لَfor / to+نَجْزِيَWe will surely reward them+نَّemphasis+هُمْthem / their 12To doيَعْمَلُونَya'malunaF وَوَصَّيْنَا ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ بِوَٰلِدَيْهِ حُسْنًا ۖ وَإِن جَٰهَدَاكَ لِتُشْرِكَ بِى مَا لَيْسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلْمٌ فَلَا تُطِعْهُمَآ ۚ إِلَىَّ مَرْجِعُكُمْ فَأُنَبِّئُكُم بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ﴿8﴾
And We have enjoined upon man goodness to parents. But if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them. To Me is your return, and I will inform you about what you used to do.

← read from right to left1And we have enjoinedوَوَصَّيْنَاwawassaynaCBFCONJ+Vوَand+وَصَّيْنَاWe have enjoined 2On manالْإِنْسَانَl-insanaIالthe+إِنْسَانَOn man 3Goodness to his parentsبِوَالِدَيْهِbiwalidayhiCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+وَالِدَيْGoodness to his parents+هِhim / his / it 4Goodness to his parentsحُسْنًاhusnanI 6They both strive against youجَاهَدَاكَjahadakaCBFV+PRONATTجَاهَدَاThey both strive against+كَyou / your 7To make you associateلِتُشْرِكَlitushrikaCBFP+Vلِfor / to+تُشْرِكَMake you associate 12Of itبِهِbihiCBHP+PRONATTبِwith / in+هِhim / his / it 13Any knowledgeعِلْمٌ'ilmunI 14Then do notفَلَاfalaCBHCONJ+NEGفَso / then+لَاDo not 15Obey both of themتُطِعْهُمَاtuti'humaCBFV+PRONATTتُطِعْObey both of+هُمَاthem two 17Is your returnمَرْجِعُكُمْmarji'ukumCBIN+PRONATTمَرْجِعُIs your return+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 18And i will inform youفَأُنَبِّئُكُمْfa-unabbi'ukumCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+أُنَبِّئُAnd i will inform+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 19About whatبِمَاbimaCBIP+RELبِwith / in+مَاAbout what 20You usedكُنْتُمْkuntumF 21To doتَعْمَلُونَta'malunaF وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَنُدْخِلَنَّهُمْ فِى ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ ﴿9﴾
And those who believe and do righteous deeds - We will surely admit them among the righteous [into Paradise].

And of the people are some who say, "We believe in Allah," but when one [of them] is harmed for [the cause of] Allah, they consider the trial of the people as [if it were] the punishment of Allah. But if victory comes from your Lord, they say, "Indeed, We were with you." Is not Allah most knowing of what is within the breasts of all creatures?

← read from right to left1And ofوَمِنَwaminaCBHCONJ+Pوَand+مِنَOf 2The peopleالنَّاسِl-nasiIالthe+نَاسِPeople 5We believeآمَنَّاamannaF 6In Allahبِاللَّهِbil-lahiCBIP+PNبِwith / in+اللَّهِAllah 7But whenفَإِذَاfa-idhaCBICONJ+Tفَso / then+إِذَاBut when 8He is harmedأُوذِيَudhiyaF 10The way of Allahاللَّهِl-lahiI 11He considersجَعَلَja'alaF 12The trialفِتْنَةَfitnataI 13Of the peopleالنَّاسِl-nasiIالthe+نَاسِOf the people 14As the punishmentكَعَذَابِka'adhabiCBIP+Nكَlike+عَذَابِThe punishment 20Your LordرَبِّكَrabbikaCBIN+PRONATTرَبِّYour Lord+كَyou / your 21Surely they sayلَيَقُولُنَّlayaqulunnaCBFLAM+V+PRONATTلَfor / to+يَقُولُSurely they say+نَّemphasis 24With youمَعَكُمْma'akumI 25Is notأَوَلَيْسَawalaysaCBFINTG+CONJ+Vأَis it? / did?+وَand+لَيْسَNot 27Most knowingبِأَعْلَمَbi-a'lamaCBIP+Nبِwith / in+أَعْلَمَMost knowing 28Of whatبِمَاbimaCBIP+RELبِwith / in+مَاOf what 30The breastsصُدُورِsuduriI 31Of the worldsالْعَالَمِينَl-'alaminaIالthe+عَالَمِينَOf the worlds وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَ ﴿11﴾
And Allah will surely make evident those who believe, and He will surely make evident the hypocrites.

And those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Follow our way, and we will carry your sins." But they will not carry anything of their sins. Indeed, they are liars.

← read from right to left1And saidوَقَالَwaqalaCBFCONJ+Vوَand+قَالَSaid 2Those whoالَّذِينَalladhinaI 3DisbelieveكَفَرُواkafaruF 4To those whoلِلَّذِينَlilladhinaCBIP+RELلِfor / to+الَّذِينَThose who 6Followاتَّبِعُواittabi'uF 7Our wayسَبِيلَنَاsabilanaCBIN+PRONATTسَبِيلَOur way+نَاus / our 8And we will carryوَلْنَحْمِلْwalnahmilCBFCONJ+LAM+Vوَand+لْfor / to+لِنَحْمِلْWe will carry 9Your sinsخَطَايَاكُمْkhatayakumCBIN+PRONATTخَطَايَاYour sins+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 12Are going to carryبِحَامِلِينَbihamilinaCBIP+Nبِwith / in+حَامِلِينَAre going to carry 14Their sinsخَطَايَاهُمْkhatayahumCBIN+PRONATTخَطَايَاTheir sins+هُمْthem / their 17Indeed theyإِنَّهُمْinnahumCBHACC+PRONATTإِنَّIndeed+هُمْthem / their 18Are surely liarsلَكَاذِبُونَlakadhibunaCBILAM+Nلَfor / to+كَاذِبُونَAre surely liars وَلَيَحْمِلُنَّ أَثْقَالَهُمْ وَأَثْقَالًا مَّعَ أَثْقَالِهِمْ ۖ وَلَيُسْـَٔلُنَّ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ عَمَّا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ ﴿13﴾
But they will surely carry their [own] burdens and [other] burdens along with their burdens, and they will surely be questioned on the Day of Resurrection about what they used to invent.
