طسٓمٓ ﴿1﴾

Ta, Seen, Meem.

تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ ٱلْمُبِينِ ﴿2﴾

These are the verses of the clear Book.

نَتْلُوا۟ عَلَيْكَ مِن نَّبَإِ مُوسَىٰ وَفِرْعَوْنَ بِٱلْحَقِّ لِقَوْمٍ يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿3﴾

We recite to you from the news of Moses and Pharaoh in truth for a people who believe.

For a peopleلِقَوْمٍCBIP+Nلِfor / to+قَوْمٍA people
Who believeيُؤْمِنُونَF

إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ عَلَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَجَعَلَ أَهْلَهَا شِيَعًا يَسْتَضْعِفُ طَآئِفَةً مِّنْهُمْ يُذَبِّحُ أَبْنَآءَهُمْ وَيَسْتَحْىِۦ نِسَآءَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ ﴿4﴾

Indeed, Pharaoh exalted himself in the land and made its people into factions, oppressing a sector among them, slaughtering their [newborn] sons and keeping their females alive. Indeed, he was of the corrupters.

And letting liveوَيَسْتَحْيِيCBFCONJ+Vوَand+يَسْتَحْيِيLetting live
Their womenنِسَاءَهُمْCBIN+PRONATTنِسَاءَTheir women+هُمْthem / their
Indeed heإِنَّهُCBHACC+PRONATTإِنَّIndeed he+هُhim / his / it
WasكَانَF
OfمِنَH
The corruptersالْمُفْسِدِينَIالthe+مُفْسِدِينَCorrupters

وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ ٱسْتُضْعِفُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةً وَنَجْعَلَهُمُ ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ ﴿5﴾

And We wanted to confer favor upon those who were oppressed in the land and make them leaders and make them inheritors

Bestow a favorنَمُنَّF
UponعَلَىH
Those whoالَّذِينَI
Were oppressedاسْتُضْعِفُواF
InفِيH
The landالْأَرْضِIالthe+أَرْضِLand
And make themوَنَجْعَلَهُمْCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTوَand+نَجْعَلَMake+هُمْthem / their
LeadersأَئِمَّةًI
And make themوَنَجْعَلَهُمُCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTوَand+نَجْعَلَMake+هُمُthem / their
The inheritorsالْوَارِثِينَIالthe+وَارِثِينَInheritors

وَنُمَكِّنَ لَهُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ وَنُرِىَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَحْذَرُونَ ﴿6﴾

And establish them in the land and show Pharaoh and [his minister] Haman and their soldiers through them that which they had feared.

And hamanوَهَامَانَCBICONJ+PNوَand+هَامَانَHaman
And their hostsوَجُنُودَهُمَاCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+جُنُودَTheir hosts+هُمَاthem two
Through themمِنْهُمْCBHP+PRONATTمِنْThrough+هُمْthem / their
WhatمَاI
They wereكَانُواF
FearingيَحْذَرُونَF

وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنْ أَرْضِعِيهِ ۖ فَإِذَا خِفْتِ عَلَيْهِ فَأَلْقِيهِ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَلَا تَخَافِى وَلَا تَحْزَنِىٓ ۖ إِنَّا رَآدُّوهُ إِلَيْكِ وَجَاعِلُوهُ مِنَ ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ ﴿7﴾

And We inspired to the mother of Moses, "Suckle him; but when you fear for him, cast him into the river and do not fear and do not grieve. Indeed, We will return him to you and will make him [one] of the messengers."

Then cast himفَأَلْقِيهِCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+أَلْقِيCast+هِhim / his / it
IntoفِيH
The riverالْيَمِّIالthe+يَمِّRiver
And do notوَلَاCBHCONJ+PROوَand+لَاDo not
FearتَخَافِيF
And do notوَلَاCBHCONJ+PROوَand+لَاDo not
GrieveتَحْزَنِيF
Indeed weإِنَّاCBHACC+PRONATTإِIndeed we+ناus / our
Will restore himرَادُّوهُCBIN+PRONATTرَادُّوWill restore+هُhim / his / it
To youإِلَيْكِCBHP+PRONATTإِلَىTo+كِyou / your
And will make himوَجَاعِلُوهُCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+جَاعِلُوWill make+هُhim / his / it
OfمِنَH
The MessengersالْمُرْسَلِينَIالthe+مُرْسَلِينَMessengers

فَٱلْتَقَطَهُۥٓ ءَالُ فِرْعَوْنَ لِيَكُونَ لَهُمْ عَدُوًّا وَحَزَنًا ۗ إِنَّ فِرْعَوْنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَ وَجُنُودَهُمَا كَانُوا۟ خَٰطِـِٔينَ ﴿8﴾

And the family of Pharaoh picked him up [out of the river] so that he would become to them an enemy and a [cause of] grief. Indeed, Pharaoh and Haman and their soldiers were deliberate sinners.

An enemyعَدُوًّاI
And a griefوَحَزَنًاCBICONJ+Nوَand+حَزَنًاA grief
IndeedإِنَّH
PharaohفِرْعَوْنَI
And hamanوَهَامَانَCBICONJ+PNوَand+هَامَانَHaman
And their hostsوَجُنُودَهُمَاCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+جُنُودَTheir hosts+هُمَاthem two
WereكَانُواF
SinnersخَاطِئِينَI

وَقَالَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُ فِرْعَوْنَ قُرَّتُ عَيْنٍ لِّى وَلَكَ ۖ لَا تَقْتُلُوهُ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَنفَعَنَآ أَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُۥ وَلَدًا وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ ﴿9﴾

And the wife of Pharaoh said, "[He will be] a comfort of the eye for me and for you. Do not kill him; perhaps he may benefit us, or we may adopt him as a son." And they perceived not.

A comfortقُرَّتُI
Of the eyeعَيْنٍI

And for youوَلَكَCBHCONJ+P+PRONATTوَand+لَكَFor you
Do notلَاH
Kill himتَقْتُلُوهُCBFV+PRONATTتَقْتُلُوKill+هُhim / his / it
PerhapsعَسَىF
ThatأَنْH
He may benefit usيَنْفَعَنَاCBFV+PRONATTيَنْفَعَHe may benefit+نَاus / our
OrأَوْH
We may take himنَتَّخِذَهُCBFV+PRONATTنَتَّخِذَWe may take+هُhim / his / it
As a sonوَلَدًاI
And theyوَهُمْCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+هُمْThey
Did notلَاH
PerceiveيَشْعُرُونَF

وَأَصْبَحَ فُؤَادُ أُمِّ مُوسَىٰ فَٰرِغًا ۖ إِن كَادَتْ لَتُبْدِى بِهِۦ لَوْلَآ أَن رَّبَطْنَا عَلَىٰ قَلْبِهَا لِتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿10﴾

And the heart of Moses' mother became empty [of all else]. She was about to disclose [the matter concerning] him had We not bound fast her heart that she would be of the believers.

If notلَوْلَاH
ThatأَنْH
We strengthenedرَبَطْنَاF
[over]عَلَىH
Her heartقَلْبِهَاCBIN+PRONATTقَلْبِHer heart+هَاher / it / its
So that she would beلِتَكُونَCBFP+Vلِfor / to+تَكُونَSo that she would be
OfمِنَH
The believersالْمُؤْمِنِينَIالthe+مُؤْمِنِينَBelievers

وَقَالَتْ لِأُخْتِهِۦ قُصِّيهِ ۖ فَبَصُرَتْ بِهِۦ عَن جُنُبٍ وَهُمْ لَا يَشْعُرُونَ ﴿11﴾

And she said to his sister, "Follow him"; so she watched him from a distance while they perceived not.

To his sisterلِأُخْتِهِCBIP+N+PRONATTلِfor / to+أُخْتِHis sister+هِhim / his / it
Follow himقُصِّيهِCBFV+PRONATTقُصِّيFollow+هِhim / his / it
So she watchedفَبَصُرَتْCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+بَصُرَتْShe watched
HimبِهِCBHP+PRONATTبِwith / in+هِhim / his / it
FromعَنْH
A distanceجُنُبٍI
While theyوَهُمْCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+هُمْWhile they
Did notلَاH
PerceiveيَشْعُرُونَF

وَحَرَّمْنَا عَلَيْهِ ٱلْمَرَاضِعَ مِن قَبْلُ فَقَالَتْ هَلْ أَدُلُّكُمْ عَلَىٰٓ أَهْلِ بَيْتٍ يَكْفُلُونَهُۥ لَكُمْ وَهُمْ لَهُۥ نَٰصِحُونَ ﴿12﴾

And We had prevented from him [all] wet nurses before, so she said, "Shall I direct you to a household that will be responsible for him for you while they are to him [for his upbringing] sincere?"

So she saidفَقَالَتْCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+قَالَتْShe said
Shall iهَلْH
Direct youأَدُلُّكُمْCBFV+PRONATTأَدُلُّDirect+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
ToعَلَىH
The peopleأَهْلِI
Of a houseبَيْتٍI
Who will rear himيَكْفُلُونَهُCBFV+PRONATTيَكْفُلُونَWho will rear+هُhim / his / it
For youلَكُمْCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
While theyوَهُمْCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+هُمْWhile they
To himلَهُCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+هُhim / his / it
Will be sincereنَاصِحُونَI

فَرَدَدْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰٓ أُمِّهِۦ كَىْ تَقَرَّ عَيْنُهَا وَلَا تَحْزَنَ وَلِتَعْلَمَ أَنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ﴿13﴾

So We restored him to his mother that she might be content and not grieve and that she would know that the promise of Allah is true. But most of the people do not know.

ThatأَنَّH
The promise of AllahوَعْدَI
The promise of AllahاللَّهِI
Is trueحَقٌّI
ButوَلَكِنَّCBHCONJ+ACCوَand+لَكِنَّBut
Most of themأَكْثَرَهُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَكْثَرَMost of+هُمْthem / their
