وَلَمَّا تَوَجَّهَ تِلْقَآءَ مَدْيَنَ قَالَ عَسَىٰ رَبِّىٓ أَن يَهْدِيَنِى سَوَآءَ ٱلسَّبِيلِ ﴿22﴾

And when he directed himself toward Madyan, he said, "Perhaps my Lord will guide me to the sound way."

He turned his faceتَوَجَّهَF

He saidقَالَF
PerhapsعَسَىF
My LordرَبِّيCBIN+PRONATTرَبِّMy Lord+يme / my
[that]أَنْH
Will guide meيَهْدِيَنِيCBFV+PRONATTيَهْدِيَWill guide+نِيme
To the soundسَوَاءَI
WayالسَّبِيلِIالthe+سَبِيلِWay

وَلَمَّا وَرَدَ مَآءَ مَدْيَنَ وَجَدَ عَلَيْهِ أُمَّةً مِّنَ ٱلنَّاسِ يَسْقُونَ وَوَجَدَ مِن دُونِهِمُ ٱمْرَأَتَيْنِ تَذُودَانِ ۖ قَالَ مَا خَطْبُكُمَا ۖ قَالَتَا لَا نَسْقِى حَتَّىٰ يُصْدِرَ ٱلرِّعَآءُ ۖ وَأَبُونَا شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ ﴿23﴾

And when he came to the well of Madyan, he found there a crowd of people watering [their flocks], and he found aside from them two women driving back [their flocks]. He said, "What is your circumstance?" They said, "We do not water until the shepherds dispatch [their flocks]; and our father is an old man."

Two womenامْرَأَتَيْنِI
Keeping backتَذُودَانِF
He saidقَالَF
WhatمَاI
Is the matter with both of youخَطْبُكُمَاCBIN+PRONATTخَطْبُIs the matter with both of+كُمَاyou two
They saidقَالَتَاF
We cannot waterلَاH
We cannot waterنَسْقِيF
UntilحَتَّىH
Take awayيُصْدِرَF
The shepherdsالرِّعَاءُIالthe+رِعَاءُShepherds
And our fatherوَأَبُونَاCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+أَبُوOur father+نَاus / our
Is a very old manشَيْخٌI
Is a very old manكَبِيرٌI

فَسَقَىٰ لَهُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَلَّىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلظِّلِّ فَقَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّى لِمَآ أَنزَلْتَ إِلَىَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيرٌ ﴿24﴾

So he watered [their flocks] for them; then he went back to the shade and said, "My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need."

My LordرَبِّI
Indeed i amإِنِّيCBHACC+PRONATTإِIndeed i am+نيme
Of whateverلِمَاCBIP+RELلِfor / to+مَاOf whatever
You sendأَنْزَلْتَF
To meإِلَيَّCBHP+PRONATTإِلَTo+يme / my
OfمِنْH
GoodخَيْرٍI
In needفَقِيرٌI

فَجَآءَتْهُ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا تَمْشِى عَلَى ٱسْتِحْيَآءٍ قَالَتْ إِنَّ أَبِى يَدْعُوكَ لِيَجْزِيَكَ أَجْرَ مَا سَقَيْتَ لَنَا ۚ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُۥ وَقَصَّ عَلَيْهِ ٱلْقَصَصَ قَالَ لَا تَخَفْ ۖ نَجَوْتَ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴿25﴾

Then one of the two women came to him walking with shyness. She said, "Indeed, my father invites you that he may reward you for having watered for us." So when he came to him and related to him the story, he said, "Fear not. You have escaped from the wrongdoing people."

The rewardأَجْرَI
For whatمَاH
You wateredسَقَيْتَF
For usلَنَاCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+نَاus / our
So whenفَلَمَّاCBICONJ+Tفَso / then+لَمَّاWhen
He came to himجَاءَهُCBFV+PRONATTجَاءَHe came to+هُhim / his / it
And narratedوَقَصَّCBFCONJ+Vوَand+قَصَّNarrated
To himعَلَيْهِCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىTo+هِhim / his / it
The storyالْقَصَصَIالthe+قَصَصَStory
He saidقَالَF
Do notلَاH
FearتَخَفْF
You have escapedنَجَوْتَF
FromمِنَH
The peopleالْقَوْمِIالthe+قَوْمِPeople
The wrongdoersالظَّالِمِينَIالthe+ظَالِمِينَWrongdoers

قَالَتْ إِحْدَىٰهُمَا يَٰٓأَبَتِ ٱسْتَـْٔجِرْهُ ۖ إِنَّ خَيْرَ مَنِ ٱسْتَـْٔجَرْتَ ٱلْقَوِىُّ ٱلْأَمِينُ ﴿26﴾

One of the women said, "O my father, hire him. Indeed, the best one you can hire is the strong and the trustworthy."

Is the strongالْقَوِيُّIالthe+قَوِيُّIs the strong
The trustworthyالْأَمِينُIالthe+أَمِينُTrustworthy

قَالَ إِنِّىٓ أُرِيدُ أَنْ أُنكِحَكَ إِحْدَى ٱبْنَتَىَّ هَٰتَيْنِ عَلَىٰٓ أَن تَأْجُرَنِى ثَمَٰنِىَ حِجَجٍ ۖ فَإِنْ أَتْمَمْتَ عَشْرًا فَمِنْ عِندِكَ ۖ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَشُقَّ عَلَيْكَ ۚ سَتَجِدُنِىٓ إِن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَ ﴿27﴾

He said, "Indeed, I wish to wed you one of these, my two daughters, on [the condition] that you serve me for eight years; but if you complete ten, it will be [as a favor] from you. And I do not wish to put you in difficulty. You will find me, if Allah wills, from among the righteous."

For eightثَمَانِيَI
YearsحِجَجٍI
But ifفَإِنْCBHCONJ+CONDفَso / then+إِنْBut if
You completeأَتْمَمْتَF
TenعَشْرًاI
Then fromفَمِنْCBHCONJ+Pفَso / then+مِنْFrom
YouعِنْدِكَCBIN+PRONATTعِنْدِyou+كَyou / your
And notوَمَاCBHCONJ+NEGوَand+مَاNot
I wishأُرِيدُF
ToأَنْH
Make it difficultأَشُقَّF
For youعَلَيْكَCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىFor+كَyou / your
You will find meسَتَجِدُنِيCBFFUT+V+PRONATTسَwill+تَجِدُYou will find+نِيme
IfإِنْH
Allah willsشَاءَF
Allah willsاللَّهُI
OfمِنَH
The righteousالصَّالِحِينَIالthe+صَالِحِينَRighteous

قَالَ ذَٰلِكَ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَكَ ۖ أَيَّمَا ٱلْأَجَلَيْنِ قَضَيْتُ فَلَا عُدْوَٰنَ عَلَىَّ ۖ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ مَا نَقُولُ وَكِيلٌ ﴿28﴾

[Moses] said, "That is [established] between me and you. Whichever of the two terms I complete - there is no injustice to me, and Allah, over what we say, is Witness."

And AllahوَاللَّهُCBICONJ+PNوَand+اللَّهُAllah
OverعَلَىH
WhatمَاI
We sayنَقُولُF
Is a witnessوَكِيلٌI
