وَلَقَدْ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنْ أَسْرِ بِعِبَادِى فَٱضْرِبْ لَهُمْ طَرِيقًا فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ يَبَسًا لَّا تَخَٰفُ دَرَكًا وَلَا تَخْشَىٰ ﴿77﴾

And We had inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants and strike for them a dry path through the sea; you will not fear being overtaken [by Pharaoh] nor be afraid [of drowning]."

InفِيH
The seaالْبَحْرِIالthe+بَحْرِSea
DryيَبَسًاI
NotلَاH
FearingتَخَافُF
To be overtakenدَرَكًاI
And notوَلَاCBHCONJ+NEGوَand+لَاNot
Being afraidتَخْشَىF

فَأَتْبَعَهُمْ فِرْعَوْنُ بِجُنُودِهِۦ فَغَشِيَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْيَمِّ مَا غَشِيَهُمْ ﴿78﴾

So Pharaoh pursued them with his soldiers, and there covered them from the sea that which covered them,

Covered themغَشِيَهُمْCBFV+PRONATTغَشِيَCovered+هُمْthem / their

وَأَضَلَّ فِرْعَوْنُ قَوْمَهُۥ وَمَا هَدَىٰ ﴿79﴾

And Pharaoh led his people astray and did not guide [them].

يَٰبَنِىٓ إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ قَدْ أَنجَيْنَٰكُم مِّنْ عَدُوِّكُمْ وَوَٰعَدْنَٰكُمْ جَانِبَ ٱلطُّورِ ٱلْأَيْمَنَ وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْمَنَّ وَٱلسَّلْوَىٰ ﴿80﴾

O Children of Israel, We delivered you from your enemy, and We made an appointment with you at the right side of the mount, and We sent down to you manna and quails,

VerilyقَدْH

Your enemyعَدُوِّكُمْCBIN+PRONATTعَدُوِّYour enemy+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
And we made a covenant with youوَوَاعَدْنَاكُمْCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTوَand+وَاعَدْنَاWe made a covenant with+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
On the sideجَانِبَI
Of the mountالطُّورِIالthe+طُورِOf the mount
The rightالْأَيْمَنَIالthe+أَيْمَنَRight
And we sent downوَنَزَّلْنَاCBFCONJ+Vوَand+نَزَّلْنَاWe sent down
To youعَلَيْكُمُCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىTo+كُمُyou / your (pl.)
TheالْمَنَّIالthe+مَنَّthe
And the quailsوَالسَّلْوَىCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+سَلْوَىQuails

كُلُوا۟ مِن طَيِّبَٰتِ مَا رَزَقْنَٰكُمْ وَلَا تَطْغَوْا۟ فِيهِ فَيَحِلَّ عَلَيْكُمْ غَضَبِى ۖ وَمَن يَحْلِلْ عَلَيْهِ غَضَبِى فَقَدْ هَوَىٰ ﴿81﴾

[Saying], "Eat from the good things with which We have provided you and do not transgress [or oppress others] therein, lest My anger should descend upon you. And he upon whom My anger descends has certainly fallen."

Upon youعَلَيْكُمْCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىUpon+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
My angerغَضَبِيCBIN+PRONATTغَضَبِMy anger+يme / my
And whoeverوَمَنْCBICONJ+CONDوَand+مَنْWhoever
On whom descendsيَحْلِلْF
On whom descendsعَلَيْهِCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىOn whom descends+هِhim / his / it
My angerغَضَبِيCBIN+PRONATTغَضَبِMy anger+يme / my
IndeedفَقَدْCBHCONJ+CERTفَso / then+قَدْIndeed
He has perishedهَوَىF

وَإِنِّى لَغَفَّارٌ لِّمَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحًا ثُمَّ ٱهْتَدَىٰ ﴿82﴾

But indeed, I am the Perpetual Forgiver of whoever repents and believes and does righteousness and then continues in guidance.

RepentsتَابَF
And believesوَآمَنَCBFCONJ+Vوَand+آمَنَBelieves
And doesوَعَمِلَCBFCONJ+Vوَand+عَمِلَDoes
Righteous deedsصَالِحًاI
ThenثُمَّH
Remains guidedاهْتَدَىF

وَمَآ أَعْجَلَكَ عَن قَوْمِكَ يَٰمُوسَىٰ ﴿83﴾

[Allah] said, "And what made you hasten from your people, O Moses?"

قَالَ هُمْ أُو۟لَآءِ عَلَىٰٓ أَثَرِى وَعَجِلْتُ إِلَيْكَ رَبِّ لِتَرْضَىٰ ﴿84﴾

He said, "They are close upon my tracks, and I hastened to You, my Lord, that You be pleased."

قَالَ فَإِنَّا قَدْ فَتَنَّا قَوْمَكَ مِنۢ بَعْدِكَ وَأَضَلَّهُمُ ٱلسَّامِرِىُّ ﴿85﴾

[Allah] said, "But indeed, We have tried your people after you [departed], and the Samiri has led them astray."

فَرَجَعَ مُوسَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِۦ غَضْبَٰنَ أَسِفًا ۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوْمِ أَلَمْ يَعِدْكُمْ رَبُّكُمْ وَعْدًا حَسَنًا ۚ أَفَطَالَ عَلَيْكُمُ ٱلْعَهْدُ أَمْ أَرَدتُّمْ أَن يَحِلَّ عَلَيْكُمْ غَضَبٌ مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ فَأَخْلَفْتُم مَّوْعِدِى ﴿86﴾

So Moses returned to his people, angry and grieved. He said, "O my people, did your Lord not make you a good promise? Then, was the time [of its fulfillment] too long for you, or did you wish that wrath from your Lord descend upon you, so you broke your promise [of obedience] to me?"

Your LordرَبُّكُمْCBIN+PRONATTرَبُّYour Lord+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
A promiseوَعْدًاI
GoodحَسَنًاI
Then did seem longأَفَطَالَCBFINTG+CONJ+Vأَis it? / did?+فَso / then+طَالَDid seem long
To youعَلَيْكُمُCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىTo+كُمُyou / your (pl.)
The promiseالْعَهْدُIالthe+عَهْدُPromise
OrأَمْH
Did you desireأَرَدْتُمْF
ThatأَنْH
DescendيَحِلَّF
Upon youعَلَيْكُمْCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىUpon+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
The angerغَضَبٌI
OfمِنْH
Your LordرَبِّكُمْCBIN+PRONATTرَبِّYour Lord+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
So you brokeفَأَخْلَفْتُمْCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+أَخْلَفْتُمْYou broke
The promise to meمَوْعِدِيCBIN+PRONATTمَوْعِدِThe promise to+يme / my

قَالُوا۟ مَآ أَخْلَفْنَا مَوْعِدَكَ بِمَلْكِنَا وَلَٰكِنَّا حُمِّلْنَآ أَوْزَارًا مِّن زِينَةِ ٱلْقَوْمِ فَقَذَفْنَٰهَا فَكَذَٰلِكَ أَلْقَى ٱلسَّامِرِىُّ ﴿87﴾

They said, "We did not break our promise to you by our will, but we were made to carry burdens from the ornaments of the people [of Pharaoh], so we threw them [into the fire], and thus did the Samiri throw."

Of the peopleالْقَوْمِIالthe+قَوْمِOf the people
So we threw themفَقَذَفْنَاهَاCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+قَذَفْنَاWe threw+هَاher / it / its
And thusفَكَذَلِكَCBICONJ+P+DEMفَso / then+كَذَلِكَAnd thus
ThrewأَلْقَىF
The samiriالسَّامِرِيُّIالthe+سَامِرِيُّSamiri

فَأَخْرَجَ لَهُمْ عِجْلًا جَسَدًا لَّهُۥ خُوَارٌ فَقَالُوا۟ هَٰذَآ إِلَٰهُكُمْ وَإِلَٰهُ مُوسَىٰ فَنَسِىَ ﴿88﴾

And he extracted for them [the statue of] a calf which had a lowing sound, and they said, "This is your god and the god of Moses, but he forgot."

And the godوَإِلَهُCBICONJ+Nوَand+إِلَهُThe god
Of mosesمُوسَىI
But he forgotفَنَسِيَCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+نَسِيَBut he forgot

أَفَلَا يَرَوْنَ أَلَّا يَرْجِعُ إِلَيْهِمْ قَوْلًا وَلَا يَمْلِكُ لَهُمْ ضَرًّا وَلَا نَفْعًا ﴿89﴾

Did they not see that it could not return to them any speech and that it did not possess for them any harm or benefit?
