مِنْهَا خَلَقْنَٰكُمْ وَفِيهَا نُعِيدُكُمْ وَمِنْهَا نُخْرِجُكُمْ تَارَةً أُخْرَىٰ ﴿55﴾

From the earth We created you, and into it We will return you, and from it We will extract you another time.

We will return youنُعِيدُكُمْCBFV+PRONATTنُعِيدُWe will return+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
And from itوَمِنْهَاCBHCONJ+P+PRONATTوَand+مِنْهَاFrom it
We will bring you outنُخْرِجُكُمْCBFV+PRONATTنُخْرِجُWe will bring you out+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
TimeتَارَةًI
AnotherأُخْرَىI

وَلَقَدْ أَرَيْنَٰهُ ءَايَٰتِنَا كُلَّهَا فَكَذَّبَ وَأَبَىٰ ﴿56﴾

And We certainly showed Pharaoh Our signs - all of them - but he denied and refused.

But he deniedفَكَذَّبَCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+كَذَّبَBut he denied
And refusedوَأَبَىCBFCONJ+Vوَand+أَبَىRefused

قَالَ أَجِئْتَنَا لِتُخْرِجَنَا مِنْ أَرْضِنَا بِسِحْرِكَ يَٰمُوسَىٰ ﴿57﴾

He said, "Have you come to us to drive us out of our land with your magic, O Moses?

Our landأَرْضِنَاCBIN+PRONATTأَرْضِOur land+نَاus / our
With your magicبِسِحْرِكَCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+سِحْرِYour magic+كَyou / your
O mosesيَامُوسَىCBIVOC+PNيَاO+مُوسَىMoses

فَلَنَأْتِيَنَّكَ بِسِحْرٍ مِّثْلِهِۦ فَٱجْعَلْ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكَ مَوْعِدًا لَّا نُخْلِفُهُۥ نَحْنُ وَلَآ أَنتَ مَكَانًا سُوًى ﴿58﴾

Then we will surely bring you magic like it, so make between us and you an appointment, which we will not fail to keep and neither will you, in a place assigned."

Like itمِثْلِهِCBIN+PRONATTمِثْلِLike+هِhim / his / it
So makeفَاجْعَلْCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+اجْعَلْMake
Between usبَيْنَنَاCBILOC+PRONATTبَيْنَBetween+نَاus / our
And between youوَبَيْنَكَCBICONJ+LOC+PRONATTوَand+بَيْنَBetween+كَyou / your
An appointmentمَوْعِدًاI
NotلَاH
We will fail itنُخْلِفُهُCBFV+PRONATTنُخْلِفُWe will fail+هُhim / his / it
[we]نَحْنُI
And notوَلَاCBHCONJ+NEGوَand+لَاNot
YouأَنْتَI
In a placeمَكَانًاI
EvenسُوًىI

قَالَ مَوْعِدُكُمْ يَوْمُ ٱلزِّينَةِ وَأَن يُحْشَرَ ٱلنَّاسُ ضُحًى ﴿59﴾

[Moses] said, "Your appointment is on the day of the festival when the people assemble at mid-morning."

Is on the dayيَوْمُI
Of the festivalالزِّينَةِIالthe+زِينَةِOf the festival
And thatوَأَنْCBHCONJ+SUBوَand+أَنْThat
Will be assembledيُحْشَرَF
The peopleالنَّاسُIالthe+نَاسُPeople
At forenoonضُحًىI

فَتَوَلَّىٰ فِرْعَوْنُ فَجَمَعَ كَيْدَهُۥ ثُمَّ أَتَىٰ ﴿60﴾

So Pharaoh went away, put together his plan, and then came [to Moses].

Then went awayفَتَوَلَّىCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+تَوَلَّىWent away
PharaohفِرْعَوْنُI
And put togetherفَجَمَعَCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+جَمَعَAnd put together
His planكَيْدَهُCBIN+PRONATTكَيْدَHis plan+هُhim / his / it
ThenثُمَّH
CameأَتَىF

قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰ وَيْلَكُمْ لَا تَفْتَرُوا۟ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ كَذِبًا فَيُسْحِتَكُم بِعَذَابٍ ۖ وَقَدْ خَابَ مَنِ ٱفْتَرَىٰ ﴿61﴾

Moses said to the magicians summoned by Pharaoh, "Woe to you! Do not invent a lie against Allah or He will exterminate you with a punishment; and he has failed who invents [such falsehood]."

A lieكَذِبًاI
Lest he will destroy youفَيُسْحِتَكُمْCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+يُسْحِتَLest he will destroy+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
With a punishmentبِعَذَابٍCBIP+Nبِwith / in+عَذَابٍA punishment
And verilyوَقَدْCBHCONJ+CERTوَand+قَدْVerily
He failedخَابَF
WhoمَنِI
InventedافْتَرَىF

فَتَنَٰزَعُوٓا۟ أَمْرَهُم بَيْنَهُمْ وَأَسَرُّوا۟ ٱلنَّجْوَىٰ ﴿62﴾

So they disputed over their affair among themselves and concealed their private conversation.

In their affairأَمْرَهُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَمْرَIn their affair+هُمْthem / their

And they kept secretوَأَسَرُّواCBFCONJ+Vوَand+أَسَرُّواThey kept secret
The private conversationالنَّجْوَىIالthe+نَجْوَىPrivate conversation

قَالُوٓا۟ إِنْ هَٰذَٰنِ لَسَٰحِرَٰنِ يُرِيدَانِ أَن يُخْرِجَاكُم مِّنْ أَرْضِكُم بِسِحْرِهِمَا وَيَذْهَبَا بِطَرِيقَتِكُمُ ٱلْمُثْلَىٰ ﴿63﴾

They said, "Indeed, these are two magicians who want to drive you out of your land with their magic and do away with your most exemplary way.

These twoهَذَانِI
[two] magiciansلَسَاحِرَانِCBILAM+Nلَfor / to+سَاحِرَانِ[two] magicians
They intendيُرِيدَانِF
ThatأَنْH
They drive you outيُخْرِجَاكُمْCBFV+PRONATTيُخْرِجَاThey drive you out+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
OfمِنْH
Your landأَرْضِكُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَرْضِYour land+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
With their magicبِسِحْرِهِمَاCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+سِحْرِTheir magic+هِمَاthem two
And do awayوَيَذْهَبَاCBFCONJ+Vوَand+يَذْهَبَاDo away
With your wayبِطَرِيقَتِكُمُCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+طَرِيقَتِYour way+كُمُyou / your (pl.)
The exemplaryالْمُثْلَىIالthe+مُثْلَىExemplary

فَأَجْمِعُوا۟ كَيْدَكُمْ ثُمَّ ٱئْتُوا۟ صَفًّا ۚ وَقَدْ أَفْلَحَ ٱلْيَوْمَ مَنِ ٱسْتَعْلَىٰ ﴿64﴾

So resolve upon your plan and then come [forward] in line. And he has succeeded today who overcomes."

In a lineصَفًّاI
And verilyوَقَدْCBHCONJ+CERTوَand+قَدْVerily
Will be successfulأَفْلَحَF
TodayالْيَوْمَIالthe+يَوْمَToday
WhoمَنِI
OvercomesاسْتَعْلَىF

قَالُوا۟ يَٰمُوسَىٰٓ إِمَّآ أَن تُلْقِىَ وَإِمَّآ أَن نَّكُونَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ أَلْقَىٰ ﴿65﴾

They said, "O Moses, either you throw or we will be the first to throw."

O mosesيَامُوسَىCBIVOC+PNيَاO+مُوسَىMoses
EitherإِمَّاHإِنْif=مَاever
[that]أَنْH
You throwتُلْقِيَF
OrوَإِمَّاCBHCONJ+EXLوَand+إِنْif=مَاever
[that]أَنْH
We will beنَكُونَF
The firstأَوَّلَI
WhoمَنْI
ThrowsأَلْقَىF

قَالَ بَلْ أَلْقُوا۟ ۖ فَإِذَا حِبَالُهُمْ وَعِصِيُّهُمْ يُخَيَّلُ إِلَيْهِ مِن سِحْرِهِمْ أَنَّهَا تَسْعَىٰ ﴿66﴾

He said, "Rather, you throw." And suddenly their ropes and staffs seemed to him from their magic that they were moving [like snakes].

You throwأَلْقُواF
Then beholdفَإِذَاCBHCONJ+SURفَso / then+إِذَاBehold
Their ropesحِبَالُهُمْCBIN+PRONATTحِبَالُTheir ropes+هُمْthem / their
And their staffsوَعِصِيُّهُمْCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+عِصِيُّTheir staffs+هُمْthem / their
SeemedيُخَيَّلُF
To himإِلَيْهِCBHP+PRONATTإِلَىTo+هِhim / his / it
ByمِنْH
Their magicسِحْرِهِمْCBIN+PRONATTسِحْرِTheir magic+هِمْthem / their
That theyأَنَّهَاCBHACC+PRONATTأَنَّThat+هَاher / it / its
Were movingتَسْعَىF

فَأَوْجَسَ فِى نَفْسِهِۦ خِيفَةً مُّوسَىٰ ﴿67﴾

And he sensed within himself apprehension, did Moses.

So sensedفَأَوْجَسَCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+أَوْجَسَSensed
InفِيH
HimselfنَفْسِهِCBIN+PRONATTنَفْسِHimself+هِhim / his / it
A fearخِيفَةًI
MosesمُوسَىI

قُلْنَا لَا تَخَفْ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ ﴿68﴾

Allah said, "Fear not. Indeed, it is you who are superior.

Do notلَاH
FearتَخَفْF
Indeed youإِنَّكَCBHACC+PRONATTإِنَّIndeed+كَyou / your
YouأَنْتَI
Will be superiorالْأَعْلَىIالthe+أَعْلَىWill be superior

وَأَلْقِ مَا فِى يَمِينِكَ تَلْقَفْ مَا صَنَعُوٓا۟ ۖ إِنَّمَا صَنَعُوا۟ كَيْدُ سَٰحِرٍ ۖ وَلَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلسَّاحِرُ حَيْثُ أَتَىٰ ﴿69﴾

And throw what is in your right hand; it will swallow up what they have crafted. What they have crafted is but the trick of a magician, and the magician will not succeed wherever he is."

OnlyإِنَّمَاCBHإِنَّindeed=مَاonly
They have madeصَنَعُواF
A trickكَيْدُI
Of a magicianسَاحِرٍI
And notوَلَاCBHCONJ+NEGوَand+لَاNot
Will be successfulيُفْلِحُF
The magicianالسَّاحِرُIالthe+سَاحِرُMagician
WhereverحَيْثُI
He comesأَتَىF

فَأُلْقِىَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سُجَّدًا قَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّ هَٰرُونَ وَمُوسَىٰ ﴿70﴾

So the magicians fell down in prostration. They said, "We have believed in the Lord of Aaron and Moses."

So were thrown downفَأُلْقِيَCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+أُلْقِيَWere thrown down
The magiciansالسَّحَرَةُIالthe+سَحَرَةُMagicians
ProstratingسُجَّدًاI
They saidقَالُواF
We believeآمَنَّاF
In the LordبِرَبِّCBIP+Nبِwith / in+رَبِّThe Lord
Of aaronهَارُونَI
And mosesوَمُوسَىCBICONJ+PNوَand+مُوسَىMoses

قَالَ ءَامَنتُمْ لَهُۥ قَبْلَ أَنْ ءَاذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكَبِيرُكُمُ ٱلَّذِى عَلَّمَكُمُ ٱلسِّحْرَ ۖ فَلَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُم مِّنْ خِلَٰفٍ وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ فِى جُذُوعِ ٱلنَّخْلِ وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ أَيُّنَآ أَشَدُّ عَذَابًا وَأَبْقَىٰ ﴿71﴾

[Pharaoh] said, "You believed him before I gave you permission. Indeed, he is your leader who has taught you magic. So I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will crucify you on the trunks of palm trees, and you will surely know which of us is more severe in [giving] punishment and more enduring."

Is your chiefلَكَبِيرُكُمُCBILAM+N+PRONATTلَfor / to+كَبِيرُIs your chief+كُمُyou / your (pl.)
The one whoالَّذِيI
Taught youعَلَّمَكُمُCBFV+PRONATTعَلَّمَTaught+كُمُyou / your (pl.)
The magicالسِّحْرَIالthe+سِحْرَMagic
So surely i will cut offفَلَأُقَطِّعَنَّCBFCONJ+LAM+V+PRONATTفَso / then+لَfor / to+أُقَطِّعَSurely i will cut off+نَّemphasis
Your handsأَيْدِيَكُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَيْدِيَYour hands+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
And your feetوَأَرْجُلَكُمْCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+أَرْجُلَYour feet+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
OfمِنْH
Opposite sidesخِلَافٍI
And surely i will crucify youوَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْCBFCONJ+LAM+V+PRONATTوَand+لَfor / to+أُصَلِّبَSurely i will crucify you+نَّemphasis+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
OnفِيH
The trunksجُذُوعِI
Of date palmsالنَّخْلِIالthe+نَخْلِOf date palms
And surely you will knowوَلَتَعْلَمُنَّCBFCONJ+LAM+V+PRONATTوَand+لَfor / to+تَعْلَمُSurely you will know+نَّemphasis
Which of usأَيُّنَاCBIINTG+PRONATTأَيُّWhich of+نَاus / our
Is more severeأَشَدُّI
In punishmentعَذَابًاI
And more lastingوَأَبْقَىCBICONJ+Nوَand+أَبْقَىMore lasting

قَالُوا۟ لَن نُّؤْثِرَكَ عَلَىٰ مَا جَآءَنَا مِنَ ٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ وَٱلَّذِى فَطَرَنَا ۖ فَٱقْضِ مَآ أَنتَ قَاضٍ ۖ إِنَّمَا تَقْضِى هَٰذِهِ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَآ ﴿72﴾

They said, "Never will we prefer you over what has come to us of clear proofs and [over] He who created us. So decree whatever you are to decree. You can only decree for this worldly life.

NeverلَنْH
We will prefer youنُؤْثِرَكَCBFV+PRONATTنُؤْثِرَWe will prefer+كَyou / your
OverعَلَىH
WhatمَاI
Has come to usجَاءَنَاCBFV+PRONATTجَاءَHas come to+نَاus / our
OfمِنَH
The clear proofsالْبَيِّنَاتِIالthe+بَيِّنَاتِClear proofs
And the one whoوَالَّذِيCBICONJ+RELوَand+الَّذِيThe one who
Created usفَطَرَنَاCBFV+PRONATTفَطَرَCreated+نَاus / our
So decreeفَاقْضِCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+اقْضِDecree
WhateverمَاI
YouأَنْتَI
Are decreeingقَاضٍI
OnlyإِنَّمَاCBHإِنَّindeed=مَاonly
You can decreeتَقْضِيF
For thisهَذِهِI
LifeالْحَيَاةَIالthe+حَيَاةَLife
Of the worldالدُّنْيَاIالthe+دُنْيَاOf the world

إِنَّآ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّنَا لِيَغْفِرَ لَنَا خَطَٰيَٰنَا وَمَآ أَكْرَهْتَنَا عَلَيْهِ مِنَ ٱلسِّحْرِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ خَيْرٌ وَأَبْقَىٰٓ ﴿73﴾

Indeed, we have believed in our Lord that He may forgive us our sins and what you compelled us [to do] of magic. And Allah is better and more enduring."

In our LordبِرَبِّنَاCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+رَبِّOur Lord+نَاus / our
That he may forgiveلِيَغْفِرَCBFP+Vلِfor / to+يَغْفِرَThat he may forgive
For usلَنَاCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+نَاus / our
Our sinsخَطَايَانَاCBIN+PRONATTخَطَايَاOur sins+نَاus / our
And whatوَمَاCBICONJ+RELوَand+مَاWhat
You compelled usأَكْرَهْتَنَاCBFV+PRONATTأَكْرَهْتَYou compelled+نَاus / our
On itعَلَيْهِCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىOn+هِhim / his / it
OfمِنَH
The magicالسِّحْرِIالthe+سِحْرِMagic
And AllahوَاللَّهُCBICONJ+PNوَand+اللَّهُAllah
Is bestخَيْرٌI
And ever lastingوَأَبْقَىCBICONJ+Nوَand+أَبْقَىEver lasting

إِنَّهُۥ مَن يَأْتِ رَبَّهُۥ مُجْرِمًا فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ جَهَنَّمَ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحْيَىٰ ﴿74﴾

Indeed, whoever comes to his Lord as a criminal - indeed, for him is Hell; he will neither die therein nor live.

WhoمَنْI
ComesيَأْتِF
To his LordرَبَّهُCBIN+PRONATTرَبَّTo his Lord+هُhim / his / it
As a criminalمُجْرِمًاI
Then indeedفَإِنَّCBHCONJ+ACCفَso / then+إِنَّIndeed
For himلَهُCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+هُhim / his / it
Is HellجَهَنَّمَI
NotلَاH
He will dieيَمُوتُF
In itفِيهَاCBHP+PRONATTفِيIn+هَاher / it / its
And notوَلَاCBHCONJ+NEGوَand+لَاNot
LiveيَحْيَىF

وَمَن يَأْتِهِۦ مُؤْمِنًا قَدْ عَمِلَ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ لَهُمُ ٱلدَّرَجَٰتُ ٱلْعُلَىٰ ﴿75﴾

But whoever comes to Him as a believer having done righteous deeds - for those will be the highest degrees [in position]:

But whoeverوَمَنْCBICONJ+CONDوَand+مَنْBut whoever
Comes to himيَأْتِهِCBFV+PRONATTيَأْتِComes to+هِhim / his / it
As a believerمُؤْمِنًاI
VerilyقَدْH
He has doneعَمِلَF
The righteous deedsالصَّالِحَاتِIالthe+صَالِحَاتِRighteous deeds
Then thoseفَأُولَئِكَCBICONJ+DEMفَso / then+أُولَئِكَThose
For themلَهُمُCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+هُمُthem / their
Will be the ranksالدَّرَجَاتُIالthe+دَرَجَاتُWill be the ranks
[the] highالْعُلَىIالthe+عُلَى[the] high

جَنَّٰتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ جَزَآءُ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ ﴿76﴾

Gardens of perpetual residence beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. And that is the reward of one who purifies himself.

Underneath themتَحْتِهَاCBIN+PRONATTتَحْتِUnderneath+هَاher / it / its
The riversالْأَنْهَارُIالthe+أَنْهَارُRivers
Abiding foreverخَالِدِينَI
In itفِيهَاCBHP+PRONATTفِيIn+هَاher / it / its
And thatوَذَلِكَCBICONJ+DEMوَand+ذَلِكَThat
Is the rewardجَزَاءُI
For him whoمَنْI
Purifies himselfتَزَكَّىF
