قُل رَّبِّ إِمَّا تُرِيَنِّى مَا يُوعَدُونَ ﴿93﴾

Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised,

SayقُلْF
My LordرَبِّI
IfإِمَّاHإِنْif=مَاever
You should show meتُرِيَنِّيF
WhatمَاI
They are promisedيُوعَدُونَF

رَبِّ فَلَا تَجْعَلْنِى فِى ٱلْقَوْمِ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴿94﴾

My Lord, then do not place me among the wrongdoing people."

Place meتَجْعَلْنِيCBFV+PRONATTتَجْعَلْPlace+نِيme
AmongفِيH
The peopleالْقَوْمِIالthe+قَوْمِPeople
The wrongdoersالظَّالِمِينَIالthe+ظَالِمِينَWrongdoers

وَإِنَّا عَلَىٰٓ أَن نُّرِيَكَ مَا نَعِدُهُمْ لَقَٰدِرُونَ ﴿95﴾

And indeed, We are able to show you what We have promised them.

ThatأَنْH
We show youنُرِيَكَCBFV+PRONATTنُرِيَWe show+كَyou / your
WhatمَاI
We have promised themنَعِدُهُمْCBFV+PRONATTنَعِدُWe have promised+هُمْthem / their
Surely ableلَقَادِرُونَCBILAM+Nلَfor / to+قَادِرُونَSurely able

ٱدْفَعْ بِٱلَّتِى هِىَ أَحْسَنُ ٱلسَّيِّئَةَ ۚ نَحْنُ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا يَصِفُونَ ﴿96﴾

Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe.

The evilالسَّيِّئَةَIالthe+سَيِّئَةَEvil

Know bestأَعْلَمُI
Of whatبِمَاCBHP+SUBبِwith / in+مَاOf what
They attributeيَصِفُونَF

وَقُل رَّبِّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ هَمَزَٰتِ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِ ﴿97﴾

And say, "My Lord, I seek refuge in You from the incitements of the devils,

And sayوَقُلْCBFCONJ+Vوَand+قُلْSay
My LordرَبِّI
I seek refugeأَعُوذُF
In youبِكَCBHP+PRONATTبِwith / in+كَyou / your
FromمِنْH
The suggestionsهَمَزَاتِI
Of the evil onesالشَّيَاطِينِIالthe+شَيَاطِينِOf the evil ones

وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ رَبِّ أَن يَحْضُرُونِ ﴿98﴾

And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me."

LestأَنْH
They be present with meيَحْضُرُونِF

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَ أَحَدَهُمُ ٱلْمَوْتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ٱرْجِعُونِ ﴿99﴾

[For such is the state of the disbelievers], until, when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back

WhenإِذَاI
ComesجَاءَF
To one of themأَحَدَهُمُCBINUM+PRONATTأَحَدَTo one of+هُمُthem / their
The deathالْمَوْتُIالthe+مَوْتُDeath
He saysقَالَF
My LordرَبِّI
Send me backارْجِعُونِCBFV+PRONATTارْجِعُSend me back+ونِme

لَعَلِّىٓ أَعْمَلُ صَٰلِحًا فِيمَا تَرَكْتُ ۚ كَلَّآ ۚ إِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَآئِلُهَا ۖ وَمِن وَرَآئِهِم بَرْزَخٌ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ ﴿100﴾

That I might do righteousness in that which I left behind." No! It is only a word he is saying; and behind them is a barrier until the Day they are resurrected.

Righteous deedsصَالِحًاI

Indeed itإِنَّهَاCBHACC+PRONATTإِنَّIndeed+هَاher / it / its
Is a wordكَلِمَةٌI
HeهُوَI
Speaks itقَائِلُهَاCBIN+PRONATTقَائِلُSpeaks+هَاher / it / its
And before themوَمِنْCBHCONJ+Pوَand+مِنْBefore them
And before themوَرَائِهِمْCBIN+PRONATTوَرَائِAnd before+هِمْthem / their
Is a barrierبَرْزَخٌI
TillإِلَىH
The dayيَوْمِI
They are resurrectedيُبْعَثُونَF

فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَلَآ أَنسَابَ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَلَا يَتَسَآءَلُونَ ﴿101﴾

So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another.

The trumpetالصُّورِIالthe+صُورِTrumpet
Then notفَلَاCBHCONJ+NEGفَso / then+لَاNot
There will be relationshipأَنْسَابَI
Among themبَيْنَهُمْCBILOC+PRONATTبَيْنَAmong+هُمْthem / their
That dayيَوْمَئِذٍIيَوْمday=إِذْthat
And notوَلَاCBHCONJ+NEGوَand+لَاNot
Will they ask each otherيَتَسَاءَلُونَF

فَمَن ثَقُلَتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ ﴿102﴾

And those whose scales are heavy [with good deeds] - it is they who are the successful.

Are heavyثَقُلَتْF
His scalesمَوَازِينُهُCBIN+PRONATTمَوَازِينُHis scales+هُhim / his / it
Then thoseفَأُولَئِكَCBICONJ+DEMفَso / then+أُولَئِكَThose
TheyهُمُI
Are the successfulالْمُفْلِحُونَIالthe+مُفْلِحُونَAre the successful

وَمَنْ خَفَّتْ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ خَسِرُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ فِى جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدُونَ ﴿103﴾

But those whose scales are light - those are the ones who have lost their souls, [being] in Hell, abiding eternally.

But the one whoseوَمَنْCBICONJ+CONDوَand+مَنْBut the one whose
Are lightخَفَّتْF
His scalesمَوَازِينُهُCBIN+PRONATTمَوَازِينُHis scales+هُhim / his / it
Then thoseفَأُولَئِكَCBICONJ+DEMفَso / then+أُولَئِكَThose
They [who]الَّذِينَI
Have lostخَسِرُواF
Their soulsأَنْفُسَهُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَنْفُسَTheir souls+هُمْthem / their
InفِيH
HellجَهَنَّمَI
They will abide foreverخَالِدُونَI

تَلْفَحُ وُجُوهَهُمُ ٱلنَّارُ وَهُمْ فِيهَا كَٰلِحُونَ ﴿104﴾

The Fire will sear their faces, and they therein will have taut smiles.

Will burnتَلْفَحُF
Their facesوُجُوهَهُمُCBIN+PRONATTوُجُوهَTheir faces+هُمُthem / their
The fireالنَّارُIالthe+نَارُFire
And theyوَهُمْCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+هُمْThey
In itفِيهَاCBHP+PRONATTفِيIn+هَاher / it / its
Will grin with displaced lipsكَالِحُونَI

أَلَمْ تَكُنْ ءَايَٰتِى تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فَكُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ ﴿105﴾

[It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?"

My versesآيَاتِيCBIN+PRONATTآيَاتِMy verses+يme / my
RecitedتُتْلَىF
To youعَلَيْكُمْCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىTo+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
And you used toفَكُنْتُمْCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+كُنْتُمْAnd you used to
Deny themبِهَاCBHP+PRONATTبِwith / in+هَاher / it / its
Deny themتُكَذِّبُونَF

قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا غَلَبَتْ عَلَيْنَا شِقْوَتُنَا وَكُنَّا قَوْمًا ضَآلِّينَ ﴿106﴾

They will say, "Our Lord, our wretchedness overcame us, and we were a people astray.

They will sayقَالُواF
Our LordرَبَّنَاCBIN+PRONATTرَبَّOur Lord+نَاus / our
OvercameغَلَبَتْF
[on] usعَلَيْنَاCBHP+PRONATTعَلَى[on]+نَاus / our
Our wretchednessشِقْوَتُنَاCBIN+PRONATTشِقْوَتُOur wretchedness+نَاus / our
And we wereوَكُنَّاCBFCONJ+Vوَand+كُنَّاWe were
A peopleقَوْمًاI
AstrayضَالِّينَI

رَبَّنَآ أَخْرِجْنَا مِنْهَا فَإِنْ عُدْنَا فَإِنَّا ظَٰلِمُونَ ﴿107﴾

Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers."

Our LordرَبَّنَاCBIN+PRONATTرَبَّOur Lord+نَاus / our
Bring us outأَخْرِجْنَاF
From itمِنْهَاCBHP+PRONATTمِنْFrom+هَاher / it / its
Then ifفَإِنْCBHCONJ+CONDفَso / then+إِنْIf
We returnعُدْنَاF
Then indeed weفَإِنَّاCBHCONJ+ACC+PRONATTفَso / then+إِIndeed we+ناus / our
Would be wrongdoersظَالِمُونَI

قَالَ ٱخْسَـُٔوا۟ فِيهَا وَلَا تُكَلِّمُونِ ﴿108﴾

He will say, "Remain despised therein and do not speak to Me.

Remain despisedاخْسَئُواF
In itفِيهَاCBHP+PRONATTفِيIn+هَاher / it / its
And do notوَلَاCBHCONJ+PROوَand+لَاDo not
Speak toتُكَلِّمُونِF

إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِى يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَآ ءَامَنَّا فَٱغْفِرْ لَنَا وَٱرْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ ﴿109﴾

Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.'

IndeedإِنَّهُCBHACC+PRONATTإِنَّIndeed+هُhim / his / it
There wasكَانَF
A partyفَرِيقٌI
OfمِنْH
My slavesعِبَادِيCBIN+PRONATTعِبَادِMy slaves+يme / my
Who saidيَقُولُونَF
Our LordرَبَّنَاCBIN+PRONATTرَبَّOur Lord+نَاus / our
We believeآمَنَّاF
So forgiveفَاغْفِرْCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+اغْفِرْForgive
UsلَنَاCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+نَاus / our
And have mercy on usوَارْحَمْنَاCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTوَand+ارْحَمْHave mercy on+نَاus / our
And youوَأَنْتَCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+أَنْتَYou
Are bestخَيْرُI
Of those who showالرَّاحِمِينَIالthe+رَاحِمِينَOf those who show

فَٱتَّخَذْتُمُوهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا حَتَّىٰٓ أَنسَوْكُمْ ذِكْرِى وَكُنتُم مِّنْهُمْ تَضْحَكُونَ ﴿110﴾

But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them.

But you took themفَاتَّخَذْتُمُوهُمْCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+اتَّخَذْتُمُوBut you took+هُمْthem / their
In mockeryسِخْرِيًّاI
UntilحَتَّىH
They made you forgetأَنْسَوْكُمْCBFV+PRONATTأَنْسَوْThey made you forget+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
MyذِكْرِيCBIN+PRONATTذِكْرِmy+يme / my
And you used toوَكُنْتُمْCBFCONJ+Vوَand+كُنْتُمْYou used to
At themمِنْهُمْCBHP+PRONATTمِنْAt+هُمْthem / their
LaughتَضْحَكُونَF

إِنِّى جَزَيْتُهُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ بِمَا صَبَرُوٓا۟ أَنَّهُمْ هُمُ ٱلْفَآئِزُونَ ﴿111﴾

Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success]."

Have rewarded themجَزَيْتُهُمُCBFV+PRONATTجَزَيْتُHave rewarded+هُمُthem / their
This dayالْيَوْمَIالthe+يَوْمَThis day
BecauseبِمَاCBHP+SUBبِwith / in+مَاBecause
They were patientصَبَرُواF
Indeed theyأَنَّهُمْCBHACC+PRONATTأَنَّIndeed+هُمْthem / their
[they]هُمُI
Are the successful onesالْفَائِزُونَIالthe+فَائِزُونَAre the successful ones

قَٰلَ كَمْ لَبِثْتُمْ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ عَدَدَ سِنِينَ ﴿112﴾

[Allah] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?"

He will sayقَالَF
How longكَمْH
Did you remainلَبِثْتُمْF
InفِيH
The earthالْأَرْضِIالthe+أَرْضِEarth
In numberعَدَدَI
Of yearsسِنِينَI

قَالُوا۟ لَبِثْنَا يَوْمًا أَوْ بَعْضَ يَوْمٍ فَسْـَٔلِ ٱلْعَآدِّينَ ﴿113﴾

They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate."

We remainedلَبِثْنَاF
A dayيَوْمًاI
OrأَوْH
A partبَعْضَI
Of a dayيَوْمٍI
But askفَاسْأَلِCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+اسْأَلِBut ask
Those who keep countالْعَادِّينَIالthe+عَادِّينَThose who keep count

قَٰلَ إِن لَّبِثْتُمْ إِلَّا قَلِيلًا ۖ لَّوْ أَنَّكُمْ كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ ﴿114﴾

He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known.

You stayedلَبِثْتُمْF
ButإِلَّاHإِنْif=لَاnot
A littleقَلِيلًاI
IfلَوْH
Only youأَنَّكُمْCBHACC+PRONATTأَنَّOnly+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
[you]كُنْتُمْF
KnewتَعْلَمُونَF

أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَٰكُمْ عَبَثًا وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ ﴿115﴾

Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?"

Then did you thinkأَفَحَسِبْتُمْCBFINTG+CONJ+Vأَis it? / did?+فَso / then+حَسِبْتُمْDid you think
ThatأَنَّمَاCBHACC+PRONATTأَنَّThat+مَاthat
We created youخَلَقْنَاكُمْCBFV+PRONATTخَلَقْنَاWe created+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
UselesslyعَبَثًاI
And that youوَأَنَّكُمْCBHCONJ+ACC+PRONATTوَand+أَنَّThat+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
To usإِلَيْنَاCBHP+PRONATTإِلَىTo+نَاus / our
NotلَاH
Will be returnedتُرْجَعُونَF

فَتَعَٰلَى ٱللَّهُ ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْحَقُّ ۖ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ رَبُّ ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْكَرِيمِ ﴿116﴾

So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne.

AllahاللَّهُI
The kingالْمَلِكُIالthe+مَلِكُKing
The truthالْحَقُّIالthe+حَقُّTruth
There is noلَاH
GodإِلَهَI
ExceptإِلَّاHإِنْif=لَاnot
HimهُوَI
The LordرَبُّI
Of the throneالْعَرْشِIالthe+عَرْشِOf the throne
HonorableالْكَرِيمِIالthe+كَرِيمِHonorable

وَمَن يَدْعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ لَا بُرْهَٰنَ لَهُۥ بِهِۦ فَإِنَّمَا حِسَابُهُۥ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُفْلِحُ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ ﴿117﴾

And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed.

Then onlyفَإِنَّمَاCBHCONJ+ACCفَso / then+إِنَّindeed=مَاonly
His accountحِسَابُهُCBIN+PRONATTحِسَابُHis account+هُhim / his / it
Is withعِنْدَI
His LordرَبِّهِCBIN+PRONATTرَبِّHis Lord+هِhim / his / it
Indeed [he]إِنَّهُCBHACC+PRONATTإِنَّIndeed [he]+هُhim / his / it
NotلَاH
Will succeedيُفْلِحُF
The disbelieversالْكَافِرُونَIالthe+كَافِرُونَDisbelievers

وَقُل رَّبِّ ٱغْفِرْ وَٱرْحَمْ وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ ﴿118﴾

And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful."

ForgiveاغْفِرْF
And have mercyوَارْحَمْCBFCONJ+Vوَand+ارْحَمْHave mercy

Of those who showالرَّاحِمِينَIالthe+رَاحِمِينَOf those who show
