وَكَمْ قَصَمْنَا مِن قَرْيَةٍ كَانَتْ ظَالِمَةً وَأَنشَأْنَا بَعْدَهَا قَوْمًا ءَاخَرِينَ ﴿11﴾

And how many a city which was unjust have We shattered and produced after it another people.

We have shatteredقَصَمْنَاF
OfمِنْH
A townقَرْيَةٍI
That wasكَانَتْF
UnjustظَالِمَةًI
And we producedوَأَنْشَأْنَاCBFCONJ+Vوَand+أَنْشَأْنَاWe produced
After themبَعْدَهَاCBIT+PRONATTبَعْدَAfter+هَاher / it / its
Another peopleقَوْمًاI
Another peopleآخَرِينَI

فَلَمَّآ أَحَسُّوا۟ بَأْسَنَآ إِذَا هُم مِّنْهَا يَرْكُضُونَ ﴿12﴾

And when its inhabitants perceived Our punishment, at once they fled from it.

Were fleeingيَرْكُضُونَF

لَا تَرْكُضُوا۟ وَٱرْجِعُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَآ أُتْرِفْتُمْ فِيهِ وَمَسَٰكِنِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُسْـَٔلُونَ ﴿13﴾

[Some angels said], "Do not flee but return to where you were given luxury and to your homes - perhaps you will be questioned."

You were given luxuryأُتْرِفْتُمْF

And to your homesوَمَسَاكِنِكُمْCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+مَسَاكِنِTo your homes+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
So that you mayلَعَلَّكُمْCBHACC+PRONATTلَعَلَّSo that you may+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
Be questionedتُسْأَلُونَF

قَالُوا۟ يَٰوَيْلَنَآ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ ﴿14﴾

They said, "O woe to us! Indeed, we were wrongdoers."

We wereكُنَّاF
WrongdoersظَالِمِينَI

فَمَا زَالَت تِّلْكَ دَعْوَىٰهُمْ حَتَّىٰ جَعَلْنَٰهُمْ حَصِيدًا خَٰمِدِينَ ﴿15﴾

And that declaration of theirs did not cease until We made them [as] a harvest [mowed down], extinguished [like a fire].

Then notفَمَاCBHCONJ+NEGفَso / then+مَاNot
CeasedزَالَتْF
[this]تِلْكَI
Their cryدَعْوَاهُمْCBIN+PRONATTدَعْوَاTheir cry+هُمْthem / their
UntilحَتَّىH
We made themجَعَلْنَاهُمْCBFV+PRONATTجَعَلْنَاWe made+هُمْthem / their
ReapedحَصِيدًاI
ExtinctخَامِدِينَI

وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا لَٰعِبِينَ ﴿16﴾

And We did not create the heaven and earth and that between them in play.

And notوَمَاCBHCONJ+NEGوَand+مَاNot
We createdخَلَقْنَاF
The heavensالسَّمَاءَIالthe+سَمَاءَHeavens
And the earthوَالْأَرْضَCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+أَرْضَEarth
And whatوَمَاCBICONJ+RELوَand+مَاWhat
Is between themبَيْنَهُمَاCBILOC+PRONATTبَيْنَIs between+هُمَاthem two
For playingلَاعِبِينَI

لَوْ أَرَدْنَآ أَن نَّتَّخِذَ لَهْوًا لَّٱتَّخَذْنَٰهُ مِن لَّدُنَّآ إِن كُنَّا فَٰعِلِينَ ﴿17﴾

Had We intended to take a diversion, We could have taken it from [what is] with Us - if [indeed] We were to do so.

We intendedأَرَدْنَاF

We takeنَتَّخِذَF
A pastimeلَهْوًاI
Surely we could have taken itلَاتَّخَذْنَاهُCBFLAM+V+PRONATTلَfor / to+اتَّخَذْنَاSurely we could have taken+هُhim / his / it
FromمِنْH
UsلَدُنَّاCBILOC+PRONATTلَدُus+نَّاus / our
IfإِنْH
We wereكُنَّاF
DoersفَاعِلِينَI

بَلْ نَقْذِفُ بِٱلْحَقِّ عَلَى ٱلْبَٰطِلِ فَيَدْمَغُهُۥ فَإِذَا هُوَ زَاهِقٌ ۚ وَلَكُمُ ٱلْوَيْلُ مِمَّا تَصِفُونَ ﴿18﴾

Rather, We dash the truth upon falsehood, and it destroys it, and thereupon it departs. And for you is destruction from that which you describe.

We hurlنَقْذِفُF
The truthبِالْحَقِّCBIP+Nبِwith / in+الthe+حَقِّTruth
AgainstعَلَىH
[the] falsehoodالْبَاطِلِIالthe+بَاطِلِ[the] falsehood
And it breaks its headفَيَدْمَغُهُCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+يَدْمَغُAnd it breaks its head+هُhim / his / it
BeholdفَإِذَاCBICONJ+Tفَso / then+إِذَاBehold
It isهُوَI
VanishingزَاهِقٌI
And for youوَلَكُمُCBHCONJ+P+PRONATTوَand+لَكُمُFor you
Is destructionالْوَيْلُIالthe+وَيْلُIs destruction
For whatمِمَّاCBIP+RELمِنfrom / of=مَاwhat
You ascribeتَصِفُونَF

وَلَهُۥ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَمَنْ عِندَهُۥ لَا يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِهِۦ وَلَا يَسْتَحْسِرُونَ ﴿19﴾

To Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and the earth. And those near Him are not prevented by arrogance from His worship, nor do they tire.

WhoeverمَنْI
Is inفِيH
The heavensالسَّمَاوَاتِIالthe+سَمَوَاتِHeavens
And the earthوَالْأَرْضِCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+أَرْضِEarth
And those whoوَمَنْCBICONJ+RELوَand+مَنْThose who
Are near himعِنْدَهُCBILOC+PRONATTعِنْدَAre near+هُhim / his / it
NotلَاH
They are arrogantيَسْتَكْبِرُونَF
ToعَنْH
Worship himعِبَادَتِهِCBIN+PRONATTعِبَادَتِWorship+هِhim / his / it
And notوَلَاCBHCONJ+NEGوَand+لَاNot
They tireيَسْتَحْسِرُونَF

يُسَبِّحُونَ ٱلَّيْلَ وَٱلنَّهَارَ لَا يَفْتُرُونَ ﴿20﴾

They exalt [Him] night and day [and] do not slacken.

They glorify himيُسَبِّحُونَF
[the] nightاللَّيْلَIالthe+لَيْلَ[the] night
And [the] dayوَالنَّهَارَCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+نَهَارَ[the] day
NotلَاH
They slackenيَفْتُرُونَF

أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ ءَالِهَةً مِّنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ هُمْ يُنشِرُونَ ﴿21﴾

Or have men taken for themselves gods from the earth who resurrect [the dead]?

Have they takenاتَّخَذُواF
GodsآلِهَةًI
FromمِنَH
The earthالْأَرْضِIالthe+أَرْضِEarth
TheyهُمْI
Raise the deadيُنْشِرُونَF

لَوْ كَانَ فِيهِمَآ ءَالِهَةٌ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ لَفَسَدَتَا ۚ فَسُبْحَٰنَ ٱللَّهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَرْشِ عَمَّا يَصِفُونَ ﴿22﴾

Had there been within the heavens and earth gods besides Allah, they both would have been ruined. So exalted is Allah, Lord of the Throne, above what they describe.

In both of themفِيهِمَاCBHP+PRONATTفِيIn both of+هِمَاthem two
GodsآلِهَةٌI
BesidesإِلَّاHإِنْif=لَاnot
AllahاللَّهُI
Surely they would have been ruinedلَفَسَدَتَاCBFLAM+Vلَfor / to+فَسَدَتَاSurely they would have been ruined
So glorifiedفَسُبْحَانَCBICONJ+Nفَso / then+سُبْحَانَGlorified
Is AllahاللَّهِI
LordرَبِّI
Of the throneالْعَرْشِIالthe+عَرْشِOf the throne
Above whatعَمَّاCBIP+RELعَنabout / from=مَاwhat
They attributeيَصِفُونَF

لَا يُسْـَٔلُ عَمَّا يَفْعَلُ وَهُمْ يُسْـَٔلُونَ ﴿23﴾

He is not questioned about what He does, but they will be questioned.

About whatعَمَّاCBIP+RELعَنabout / from=مَاwhat
He doesيَفْعَلُF
But theyوَهُمْCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+هُمْBut they
Will be questionedيُسْأَلُونَF

أَمِ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً ۖ قُلْ هَاتُوا۟ بُرْهَٰنَكُمْ ۖ هَٰذَا ذِكْرُ مَن مَّعِىَ وَذِكْرُ مَن قَبْلِى ۗ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ ٱلْحَقَّ ۖ فَهُم مُّعْرِضُونَ ﴿24﴾

Or have they taken gods besides Him? Say, [O Muhammad], "Produce your proof. This [Qur'an] is the message for those with me and the message of those before me." But most of them do not know the truth, so they are turning away.

Are with meمَعِيَI
And a reminderوَذِكْرُCBICONJ+Nوَand+ذِكْرُA reminder
For those whoمَنْI
Were before meقَبْلِيCBIT+PRONATTقَبْلِWere before+يme / my
ButبَلْH
Most of themأَكْثَرُهُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَكْثَرُMost of+هُمْthem / their
Do notلَاH
KnowيَعْلَمُونَF
The truthالْحَقَّIالthe+حَقَّTruth
So theyفَهُمْCBICONJ+PRONSUBJفَso / then+هُمْThey
Are averseمُعْرِضُونَI

وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ مِن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا نُوحِىٓ إِلَيْهِ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّآ أَنَا۠ فَٱعْبُدُونِ ﴿25﴾

And We sent not before you any messenger except that We revealed to him that, "There is no deity except Me, so worship Me."

We revealedنُوحِيF
To himإِلَيْهِCBHP+PRONATTإِلَىTo+هِhim / his / it
That [he]أَنَّهُCBHACC+PRONATTأَنَّThat [he]+هُhim / his / it
There is noلَاH
GodإِلَهَI
ExceptإِلَّاHإِنْif=لَاnot
MeأَنَاI
So worship meفَاعْبُدُونِCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+اعْبُدُWorship me+ونِme

وَقَالُوا۟ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ وَلَدًا ۗ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ ۚ بَلْ عِبَادٌ مُّكْرَمُونَ ﴿26﴾

And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken a son." Exalted is He! Rather, they are [but] honored servants.

The most GraciousالرَّحْمَنُIالthe+رَحْمَنُMost Gracious
A sonوَلَدًاI
Glorified is heسُبْحَانَهُCBIN+PRONATTسُبْحَانَGlorified is he+هُhim / his / it
NayبَلْH
They are slavesعِبَادٌI
HonoredمُكْرَمُونَI

لَا يَسْبِقُونَهُۥ بِٱلْقَوْلِ وَهُم بِأَمْرِهِۦ يَعْمَلُونَ ﴿27﴾

They cannot precede Him in word, and they act by His command.

They can precede himيَسْبِقُونَهُCBFV+PRONATTيَسْبِقُونَThey can precede+هُhim / his / it
In wordبِالْقَوْلِCBIP+Nبِwith / in+الthe+قَوْلِWord
And theyوَهُمْCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+هُمْThey
By his commandبِأَمْرِهِCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+أَمْرِHis command+هِhim / his / it
ActيَعْمَلُونَF

يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلَا يَشْفَعُونَ إِلَّا لِمَنِ ٱرْتَضَىٰ وَهُم مِّنْ خَشْيَتِهِۦ مُشْفِقُونَ ﴿28﴾

He knows what is [presently] before them and what will be after them, and they cannot intercede except on behalf of one whom He approves. And they, from fear of Him, are apprehensive.

He approvesارْتَضَىF
And theyوَهُمْCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+هُمْThey
FromمِنْH
Fear of himخَشْيَتِهِCBIN+PRONATTخَشْيَتِFear of+هِhim / his / it
Stand in aweمُشْفِقُونَI

وَمَن يَقُلْ مِنْهُمْ إِنِّىٓ إِلَٰهٌ مِّن دُونِهِۦ فَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِيهِ جَهَنَّمَ ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ ﴿29﴾

And whoever of them should say, "Indeed, I am a god besides Him"- that one We would recompense with Hell. Thus do We recompense the wrongdoers.

We will recompenseنَجْزِيهِCBFV+PRONATTنَجْزِيWe will recompense+هِhim / his / it
With HellجَهَنَّمَI
ThusكَذَلِكَCBIP+DEMكَlike+ذَلِكَThus
We recompenseنَجْزِيF
The wrongdoersالظَّالِمِينَIالthe+ظَالِمِينَWrongdoers
