وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا دَاوُۥدَ مِنَّا فَضْلًا ۖ يَٰجِبَالُ أَوِّبِى مَعَهُۥ وَٱلطَّيْرَ ۖ وَأَلَنَّا لَهُ ٱلْحَدِيدَ ﴿10﴾

And We certainly gave David from Us bounty. [We said], "O mountains, repeat [Our] praises with him, and the birds [as well]." And We made pliable for him iron,

Repeat praisesأَوِّبِيF
With himمَعَهُI
And the birdsوَالطَّيْرَCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+طَيْرَBirds
And we made pliableوَأَلَنَّاCBFCONJ+Vوَand+أَلَنَّاWe made pliable
For himلَهُCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+هُhim / his / it
[the] ironالْحَدِيدَIالthe+حَدِيدَ[the] iron

أَنِ ٱعْمَلْ سَٰبِغَٰتٍ وَقَدِّرْ فِى ٱلسَّرْدِ ۖ وَٱعْمَلُوا۟ صَٰلِحًا ۖ إِنِّى بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ ﴿11﴾

[Commanding him], "Make full coats of mail and calculate [precisely] the links, and work [all of you] righteousness. Indeed I, of what you do, am Seeing."

Indeed i amإِنِّيCBHACC+PRONATTإِIndeed i am+نيme
Of whatبِمَاCBIP+RELبِwith / in+مَاOf what
You doتَعْمَلُونَF
All seerبَصِيرٌI

وَلِسُلَيْمَٰنَ ٱلرِّيحَ غُدُوُّهَا شَهْرٌ وَرَوَاحُهَا شَهْرٌ ۖ وَأَسَلْنَا لَهُۥ عَيْنَ ٱلْقِطْرِ ۖ وَمِنَ ٱلْجِنِّ مَن يَعْمَلُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِۦ ۖ وَمَن يَزِغْ مِنْهُمْ عَنْ أَمْرِنَا نُذِقْهُ مِنْ عَذَابِ ٱلسَّعِيرِ ﴿12﴾

And to Solomon [We subjected] the wind - its morning [journey was that of] a month - and its afternoon [journey was that of] a month, and We made flow for him a spring of [liquid] copper. And among the jinn were those who worked for him by the permission of his Lord. And whoever deviated among them from Our command - We will make him taste of the punishment of the Blaze.

A springعَيْنَI
Of molten copperالْقِطْرِIالthe+قِطْرِOf molten copper
And [of]وَمِنَCBHCONJ+Pوَand+مِنَ[of]
The jinnالْجِنِّIالthe+جِنِّJinn
WhoمَنْI
WorkedيَعْمَلُF
Before himبَيْنَI
Before himيَدَيْهِCBIN+PRONATTيَدَيْBefore+هِhim / his / it
By the permissionبِإِذْنِCBIP+Nبِwith / in+إِذْنِThe permission
Of his LordرَبِّهِCBIN+PRONATTرَبِّOf his Lord+هِhim / his / it
And whoeverوَمَنْCBICONJ+CONDوَand+مَنْWhoever
DeviatedيَزِغْF
Among themمِنْهُمْCBHP+PRONATTمِنْAmong+هُمْthem / their
FromعَنْH
Our commandأَمْرِنَاCBIN+PRONATTأَمْرِOur command+نَاus / our
We will make himنُذِقْهُCBFV+PRONATTنُذِقْWe will make+هُhim / his / it
OfمِنْH
The punishmentعَذَابِI
Of the blazeالسَّعِيرِIالthe+سَعِيرِOf the blaze

يَعْمَلُونَ لَهُۥ مَا يَشَآءُ مِن مَّحَٰرِيبَ وَتَمَٰثِيلَ وَجِفَانٍ كَٱلْجَوَابِ وَقُدُورٍ رَّاسِيَٰتٍ ۚ ٱعْمَلُوٓا۟ ءَالَ دَاوُۥدَ شُكْرًا ۚ وَقَلِيلٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِىَ ٱلشَّكُورُ ﴿13﴾

They made for him what he willed of elevated chambers, statues, bowls like reservoirs, and stationary kettles. [We said], "Work, O family of David, in gratitude." And few of My servants are grateful.

FixedرَاسِيَاتٍI
WorkاعْمَلُواF
O familyآلَI
Of dawoodدَاوُودَI
In gratitudeشُكْرًاI
But fewوَقَلِيلٌCBICONJ+Nوَand+قَلِيلٌBut few
OfمِنْH
My slavesعِبَادِيَCBIN+PRONATTعِبَادِMy slaves+يَme / my
Are gratefulالشَّكُورُIالthe+شَكُورُAre grateful

فَلَمَّا قَضَيْنَا عَلَيْهِ ٱلْمَوْتَ مَا دَلَّهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَوْتِهِۦٓ إِلَّا دَآبَّةُ ٱلْأَرْضِ تَأْكُلُ مِنسَأَتَهُۥ ۖ فَلَمَّا خَرَّ تَبَيَّنَتِ ٱلْجِنُّ أَن لَّوْ كَانُوا۟ يَعْلَمُونَ ٱلْغَيْبَ مَا لَبِثُوا۟ فِى ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْمُهِينِ ﴿14﴾

And when We decreed for Solomon death, nothing indicated to the jinn his death except a creature of the earth eating his staff. But when he fell, it became clear to the jinn that if they had known the unseen, they would not have remained in humiliating punishment.

His staffمِنْسَأَتَهُCBIN+PRONATTمِنْسَأَتَHis staff+هُhim / his / it
But whenفَلَمَّاCBICONJ+Tفَso / then+لَمَّاBut when
He fell downخَرَّF
Became clearتَبَيَّنَتِF
To the jinnالْجِنُّIالthe+جِنُّTo the jinn
ThatأَنْH
IfلَوْH
They hadكَانُواF
KnownيَعْلَمُونَF
The unseenالْغَيْبَIالthe+غَيْبَUnseen
NotمَاH
They would have remainedلَبِثُواF
InفِيH
The punishmentالْعَذَابِIالthe+عَذَابِPunishment
HumiliatingالْمُهِينِIالthe+مُهِينِHumiliating

لَقَدْ كَانَ لِسَبَإٍ فِى مَسْكَنِهِمْ ءَايَةٌ ۖ جَنَّتَانِ عَن يَمِينٍ وَشِمَالٍ ۖ كُلُوا۟ مِن رِّزْقِ رَبِّكُمْ وَٱشْكُرُوا۟ لَهُۥ ۚ بَلْدَةٌ طَيِّبَةٌ وَرَبٌّ غَفُورٌ ﴿15﴾

There was for [the tribe of] Saba' in their dwelling place a sign: two [fields of] gardens on the right and on the left. [They were told], "Eat from the provisions of your Lord and be grateful to Him. A good land [have you], and a forgiving Lord."

Of your LordرَبِّكُمْCBIN+PRONATTرَبِّOf your Lord+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
And be gratefulوَاشْكُرُواCBFCONJ+Vوَand+اشْكُرُواBe grateful
To himلَهُCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+هُhim / his / it
A landبَلْدَةٌI
GoodطَيِّبَةٌI
And a LordوَرَبٌّCBICONJ+Nوَand+رَبٌّA Lord
Oft forgivingغَفُورٌI

فَأَعْرَضُوا۟ فَأَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ سَيْلَ ٱلْعَرِمِ وَبَدَّلْنَٰهُم بِجَنَّتَيْهِمْ جَنَّتَيْنِ ذَوَاتَىْ أُكُلٍ خَمْطٍ وَأَثْلٍ وَشَىْءٍ مِّن سِدْرٍ قَلِيلٍ ﴿16﴾

But they turned away [refusing], so We sent upon them the flood of the dam, and We replaced their two [fields of] gardens with gardens of bitter fruit, tamarisks and something of sparse lote trees.

Their two gardensبِجَنَّتَيْهِمْCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+جَنَّتَيْTheir two gardens+هِمْthem / their
With two gardensجَنَّتَيْنِI
Producing fruitذَوَاتَيْI
Producing fruitأُكُلٍI
BitterخَمْطٍI
And tamarisksوَأَثْلٍCBICONJ+Nوَand+أَثْلٍTamarisks
And somethingوَشَيْءٍCBICONJ+Nوَand+شَيْءٍSomething
OfمِنْH
Lote treesسِدْرٍI
FewقَلِيلٍI

ذَٰلِكَ جَزَيْنَٰهُم بِمَا كَفَرُوا۟ ۖ وَهَلْ نُجَٰزِىٓ إِلَّا ٱلْكَفُورَ ﴿17﴾

[By] that We repaid them because they disbelieved. And do We [thus] repay except the ungrateful?

WeنُجَازِيF
ExceptإِلَّاHإِنْif=لَاnot
The ungratefulالْكَفُورَIالthe+كَفُورَUngrateful

وَجَعَلْنَا بَيْنَهُمْ وَبَيْنَ ٱلْقُرَى ٱلَّتِى بَٰرَكْنَا فِيهَا قُرًى ظَٰهِرَةً وَقَدَّرْنَا فِيهَا ٱلسَّيْرَ ۖ سِيرُوا۟ فِيهَا لَيَالِىَ وَأَيَّامًا ءَامِنِينَ ﴿18﴾

And We placed between them and the cities which We had blessed [many] visible cities. And We determined between them the [distances of] journey, [saying], "Travel between them by night or day in safety."

The journeyالسَّيْرَIالthe+سَيْرَJourney
TravelسِيرُواF
Between themفِيهَاCBHP+PRONATTفِيBetween+هَاher / it / its
By nightلَيَالِيَI
And by dayوَأَيَّامًاCBICONJ+Nوَand+أَيَّامًاBy day
SafelyآمِنِينَI

فَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا بَٰعِدْ بَيْنَ أَسْفَارِنَا وَظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَجَعَلْنَٰهُمْ أَحَادِيثَ وَمَزَّقْنَٰهُمْ كُلَّ مُمَزَّقٍ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ ﴿19﴾

But [insolently] they said, "Our Lord, lengthen the distance between our journeys," and wronged themselves, so We made them narrations and dispersed them in total dispersion. Indeed in that are signs for everyone patient and grateful.

ThemselvesأَنْفُسَهُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَنْفُسَthemselves+هُمْthem / their
So we made themفَجَعَلْنَاهُمْCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+جَعَلْنَاWe made+هُمْthem / their
NarrationsأَحَادِيثَI
And we dispersed themوَمَزَّقْنَاهُمْCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTوَand+مَزَّقْنَاWe dispersed+هُمْthem / their
In a totalكُلَّI
DispersionمُمَزَّقٍI
IndeedإِنَّH
InفِيH
ThatذَلِكَI
Surely are signsلَآيَاتٍCBILAM+Nلَfor / to+آيَاتٍSurely are signs
For everyoneلِكُلِّCBIP+Nلِfor / to+كُلِّEveryone
PatientصَبَّارٍI
And gratefulشَكُورٍI

وَلَقَدْ صَدَّقَ عَلَيْهِمْ إِبْلِيسُ ظَنَّهُۥ فَٱتَّبَعُوهُ إِلَّا فَرِيقًا مِّنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿20﴾

And Iblees had already confirmed through them his assumption, so they followed him, except for a party of believers.

So they followed himفَاتَّبَعُوهُCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+اتَّبَعُوThey followed+هُhim / his / it
ExceptإِلَّاHإِنْif=لَاnot
A groupفَرِيقًاI
OfمِنَH
The believersالْمُؤْمِنِينَIالthe+مُؤْمِنِينَBelievers

وَمَا كَانَ لَهُۥ عَلَيْهِم مِّن سُلْطَٰنٍ إِلَّا لِنَعْلَمَ مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِٱلْءَاخِرَةِ مِمَّنْ هُوَ مِنْهَا فِى شَكٍّ ۗ وَرَبُّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ حَفِيظٌ ﴿21﴾

And he had over them no authority except [it was decreed] that We might make evident who believes in the Hereafter from who is thereof in doubt. And your Lord, over all things, is Guardian.

About itمِنْهَاCBHP+PRONATTمِنْAbout+هَاher / it / its
Is inفِيH
DoubtشَكٍّI
And your LordوَرَبُّكَCBICONJ+N+PRONATTوَand+رَبُّYour Lord+كَyou / your
OverعَلَىH
AllكُلِّI
ThingsشَيْءٍI
Is a guardianحَفِيظٌI
