ظَهَرَ ٱلْفَسَادُ فِى ٱلْبَرِّ وَٱلْبَحْرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِى ٱلنَّاسِ لِيُذِيقَهُم بَعْضَ ٱلَّذِى عَمِلُوا۟ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ ﴿41﴾

Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness].

Of that whichالَّذِيI
They have doneعَمِلُواF
So that they mayلَعَلَّهُمْCBHACC+PRONATTلَعَلَّSo that they may+هُمْthem / their
ReturnيَرْجِعُونَF

قُلْ سِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّشْرِكِينَ ﴿42﴾

Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of those before. Most of them were associators [of others with Allah].

Most of them wereكَانَF
Most of them wereأَكْثَرُهُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَكْثَرُMost of them were+هُمْthem / their
PolytheistsمُشْرِكِينَI

فَأَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ ٱلْقَيِّمِ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِىَ يَوْمٌ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ ۖ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصَّدَّعُونَ ﴿43﴾

So direct your face toward the correct religion before a Day comes from Allah of which there is no repelling. That Day, they will be divided.

Can be avertedمَرَدَّI
[it]لَهُCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+هُhim / his / it
FromمِنَH
AllahاللَّهِI
That dayيَوْمَئِذٍIيَوْمday=إِذْthat
They will be dividedيَصَّدَّعُونَF

مَن كَفَرَ فَعَلَيْهِ كُفْرُهُۥ ۖ وَمَنْ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحًا فَلِأَنفُسِهِمْ يَمْهَدُونَ ﴿44﴾

Whoever disbelieves - upon him is [the consequence of] his disbelief. And whoever does righteousness - they are for themselves preparing,

And whoeverوَمَنْCBICONJ+CONDوَand+مَنْWhoever
DoesعَمِلَF
RighteousnessصَالِحًاI
Then for themselvesفَلِأَنْفُسِهِمْCBICONJ+P+N+PRONATTفَso / then+لِfor / to+أَنْفُسِthen for themselves+هِمْthem / their
They are preparingيَمْهَدُونَF

لِيَجْزِىَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ مِن فَضْلِهِۦٓ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ ﴿45﴾

That He may reward those who have believed and done righteous deeds out of His bounty. Indeed, He does not like the disbelievers.

Righteous deedsالصَّالِحَاتِIالthe+صَالِحَاتِRighteous deeds
Out ofمِنْH
His bountyفَضْلِهِCBIN+PRONATTفَضْلِHis bounty+هِhim / his / it
Indeed heإِنَّهُCBHACC+PRONATTإِنَّIndeed he+هُhim / his / it
Does notلَاH
LikeيُحِبُّF
The disbelieversالْكَافِرِينَIالthe+كَافِرِينَDisbelievers

وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦٓ أَن يُرْسِلَ ٱلرِّيَاحَ مُبَشِّرَٰتٍ وَلِيُذِيقَكُم مِّن رَّحْمَتِهِۦ وَلِتَجْرِىَ ٱلْفُلْكُ بِأَمْرِهِۦ وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟ مِن فَضْلِهِۦ وَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ ﴿46﴾

And of His signs is that He sends the winds as bringers of good tidings and to let you taste His mercy and so the ships may sail at His command and so you may seek of His bounty, and perhaps you will be grateful.

He sendsيُرْسِلَF
The windsالرِّيَاحَIالthe+رِيَاحَWinds
As bearers of glad tidingsمُبَشِّرَاتٍI
And to let you tasteوَلِيُذِيقَكُمْCBFCONJ+P+V+PRONATTوَand+لِfor / to+يُذِيقَLet you taste+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
OfمِنْH
His mercyرَحْمَتِهِCBIN+PRONATTرَحْمَتِHis mercy+هِhim / his / it
And that may sailوَلِتَجْرِيَCBFCONJ+P+Vوَand+لِfor / to+تَجْرِيَThat may sail
The shipsالْفُلْكُIالthe+فُلْكُShips
At his commandبِأَمْرِهِCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+أَمْرِAt his command+هِhim / his / it
And that you may seekوَلِتَبْتَغُواCBFCONJ+P+Vوَand+لِfor / to+تَبْتَغُواThat you may seek
OfمِنْH
His bountyفَضْلِهِCBIN+PRONATTفَضْلِHis bounty+هِhim / his / it
And that you mayوَلَعَلَّكُمْCBHCONJ+ACC+PRONATTوَand+لَعَلَّThat you may+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
Be gratefulتَشْكُرُونَF

وَلَقَدْ أَرْسَلْنَا مِن قَبْلِكَ رُسُلًا إِلَىٰ قَوْمِهِمْ فَجَآءُوهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِ فَٱنتَقَمْنَا مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَجْرَمُوا۟ ۖ وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نَصْرُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ﴿47﴾

And We have already sent messengers before you to their peoples, and they came to them with clear evidences; then We took retribution from those who committed crimes, and incumbent upon Us was support of the believers.

We sentأَرْسَلْنَاF

Before youقَبْلِكَCBIN+PRONATTقَبْلِBefore+كَyou / your
MessengersرُسُلًاI
ToإِلَىH
Their peopleقَوْمِهِمْCBIN+PRONATTقَوْمِTheir people+هِمْthem / their
And they came to themفَجَاءُوهُمْCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+جَاءُوAnd they came to+هُمْthem / their
With clear proofsبِالْبَيِّنَاتِCBIP+Nبِwith / in+الthe+بَيِّنَاتِClear proofs
Then we took retributionفَانْتَقَمْنَاCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+انْتَقَمْنَاWe took retribution
FromمِنَH
Those whoالَّذِينَI
Committed crimesأَجْرَمُواF
And it wasوَكَانَCBFCONJ+Vوَand+كَانَIt was
IncumbentحَقًّاI
Upon usعَلَيْنَاCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىUpon+نَاus / our
To helpنَصْرُI
The believersالْمُؤْمِنِينَIالthe+مُؤْمِنِينَBelievers

ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى يُرْسِلُ ٱلرِّيَٰحَ فَتُثِيرُ سَحَابًا فَيَبْسُطُهُۥ فِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيْفَ يَشَآءُ وَيَجْعَلُهُۥ كِسَفًا فَتَرَى ٱلْوَدْقَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ خِلَٰلِهِۦ ۖ فَإِذَآ أَصَابَ بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِۦٓ إِذَا هُمْ يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ ﴿48﴾

It is Allah who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds and spread them in the sky however He wills, and He makes them fragments so you see the rain emerge from within them. And when He causes it to fall upon whom He wills of His servants, immediately they rejoice

Then he spreads themفَيَبْسُطُهُCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+يَبْسُطُHe spreads+هُhim / his / it
InفِيH
The skyالسَّمَاءِIالthe+سَمَاءِSky
HowكَيْفَH
He willsيَشَاءُF
And he makes themوَيَجْعَلُهُCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTوَand+يَجْعَلُHe makes+هُhim / his / it
FragmentsكِسَفًاI
So you seeفَتَرَىCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+تَرَىYou see
The rainالْوَدْقَIالthe+وَدْقَRain
Coming forthيَخْرُجُF
FromمِنْH
Their midstخِلَالِهِCBIN+PRONATTخِلَالِTheir midst+هِhim / his / it
Then whenفَإِذَاCBICONJ+Tفَso / then+إِذَاWhen
He causes it to fall onأَصَابَF
He causes it to fall onبِهِCBHP+PRONATTبِwith / in+هِhim / his / it
WhomمَنْI
He willsيَشَاءُF
OfمِنْH
His slavesعِبَادِهِCBIN+PRONATTعِبَادِHis slaves+هِhim / his / it
BeholdإِذَاI
TheyهُمْI
RejoiceيَسْتَبْشِرُونَF

وَإِن كَانُوا۟ مِن قَبْلِ أَن يُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْهِم مِّن قَبْلِهِۦ لَمُبْلِسِينَ ﴿49﴾

Although they were, before it was sent down upon them - before that, in despair.

And certainlyوَإِنْCBHCONJ+CONDوَand+إِنْCertainly
They wereكَانُواF
BeforeمِنْH
BeforeقَبْلِI
[that]أَنْH
It was sent downيُنَزَّلَF
Upon themعَلَيْهِمْCBHP+PRONATTعَلَىUpon+هِمْthem / their
[before it]مِنْH
[before it]قَبْلِهِCBIN+PRONATTقَبْلِ[before it]+هِhim / his / it
Surely in despairلَمُبْلِسِينَCBILAM+Nلَfor / to+مُبْلِسِينَSurely in despair

فَٱنظُرْ إِلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِ رَحْمَتِ ٱللَّهِ كَيْفَ يُحْىِ ٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَآ ۚ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَمُحْىِ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ ﴿50﴾

So observe the effects of the mercy of Allah - how He gives life to the earth after its lifelessness. Indeed, that [same one] will give life to the dead, and He is over all things competent.

AtإِلَىH
The effectsآثَارِI
Of the mercyرَحْمَتِI
Of AllahاللَّهِI
HowكَيْفَH
He gives lifeيُحْيِF
To the earthالْأَرْضَIالthe+أَرْضَTo the earth
AfterبَعْدَI
Its deathمَوْتِهَاCBIN+PRONATTمَوْتِIts death+هَاher / it / its
IndeedإِنَّH
ThatذَلِكَI
Surely he will give lifeلَمُحْيِCBILAM+Nلَfor / to+مُحْيِيSurely he will give life
To the deadالْمَوْتَىIالthe+مَوْتَىTo the dead
And heوَهُوَCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+هُوَHe
Is onعَلَىH
EveryكُلِّI
ThingشَيْءٍI
All powerfulقَدِيرٌI

وَلَئِنْ أَرْسَلْنَا رِيحًا فَرَأَوْهُ مُصْفَرًّا لَّظَلُّوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ يَكْفُرُونَ ﴿51﴾

But if We should send a [bad] wind and they saw [their crops] turned yellow, they would remain thereafter disbelievers.

But ifوَلَئِنْCBHCONJ+CONDوَand+لَئِنْBut if
We sentأَرْسَلْنَاF
A windرِيحًاI
And they see itفَرَأَوْهُCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+رَأَوْAnd they see+هُhim / his / it
Turn yellowمُصْفَرًّاI
Certainly they continueلَظَلُّواCBFLAM+Vلَfor / to+ظَلُّواCertainly they continue
After itمِنْH
After itبَعْدِهِCBIN+PRONATTبَعْدِAfter+هِhim / his / it
In disbeliefيَكْفُرُونَF

فَإِنَّكَ لَا تُسْمِعُ ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ وَلَا تُسْمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ ٱلدُّعَآءَ إِذَا وَلَّوْا۟ مُدْبِرِينَ ﴿52﴾

So indeed, you will not make the dead hear, nor will you make the deaf hear the call when they turn their backs, retreating.

Make the deaf hearتُسْمِعُF
Make the deaf hearالصُّمَّIالthe+صُمَّMake the deaf hear
The callالدُّعَاءَIالthe+دُعَاءَCall
WhenإِذَاI
They turnوَلَّوْاF
RetreatingمُدْبِرِينَI

وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَٰدِ ٱلْعُمْىِ عَن ضَلَٰلَتِهِمْ ۖ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ ﴿53﴾

And you cannot guide the blind away from their error. You will only make hear those who believe in Our verses so they are Muslims [in submission to Allah].

In our versesبِآيَاتِنَاCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+آيَاتِOur verses+نَاus / our
So theyفَهُمْCBICONJ+PRONSUBJفَso / then+هُمْThey
