الٓمٓر ۚ تِلْكَ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ ۗ وَٱلَّذِىٓ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَ ٱلْحَقُّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يُؤْمِنُونَ ﴿1﴾
Alif, Lam, Meem, Ra. These are the verses of the Book; and what has been revealed to you from your Lord is the truth, but most of the people do not believe.

← read from right to left1Alif laam mim raالمرalif-lam-meem-raH 3Are the versesآيَاتُayatuI 4Of the Bookالْكِتَابِl-kitabiIالthe+كِتَابِOf the Book 5And that whichوَالَّذِيwa-alladhiCBICONJ+RELوَand+الَّذِيThat which 6Has been revealedأُنْزِلَunzilaF 9Your LordرَبِّكَrabbikaCBIN+PRONATTرَبِّYour Lord+كَyou / your 10Is the truthالْحَقُّl-haquIالthe+حَقُّIs the truth 11ButوَلَكِنَّwalakinnaCBHCONJ+ACCوَand+لَكِنَّBut 13Of the mankindالنَّاسِl-nasiIالthe+نَاسِOf the mankind 15Believeيُؤْمِنُونَyu'minunaF ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى رَفَعَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا ۖ ثُمَّ ٱسْتَوَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْعَرْشِ ۖ وَسَخَّرَ ٱلشَّمْسَ وَٱلْقَمَرَ ۖ كُلٌّ يَجْرِى لِأَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى ۚ يُدَبِّرُ ٱلْأَمْرَ يُفَصِّلُ ٱلْءَايَٰتِ لَعَلَّكُم بِلِقَآءِ رَبِّكُمْ تُوقِنُونَ ﴿2﴾
It is Allah who erected the heavens without pillars that you [can] see; then He established Himself above the Throne and made subject the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term. He arranges [each] matter; He details the signs that you may, of the meeting with your Lord, be certain.

← read from right to left2Is the one whoالَّذِيalladhiI 4The heavensالسَّمَاوَاتِl-samawatiIالthe+سَمَوَاتِHeavens 5WithoutبِغَيْرِbighayriCBIP+Nبِwith / in+غَيْرِWithout 7That you seeتَرَوْنَهَاtarawnahaCBFV+PRONATTتَرَوْنَThat you see+هَاher / it / its 9He establishedاسْتَوَىistawaF 11The throneالْعَرْشِl-'arshiIالthe+عَرْشِThrone 12And subjectedوَسَخَّرَwasakharaCBFCONJ+Vوَand+سَخَّرَSubjected 13The sunالشَّمْسَl-shamsaIالthe+شَمْسَSun 14And the moonوَالْقَمَرَwal-qamaraCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+قَمَرَMoon 17For a termلِأَجَلٍli-ajalinCBIP+Nلِfor / to+أَجَلٍA term 18AppointedمُسَمًّىmusammanI 19He arrangesيُدَبِّرُyudabbiruF 20The matterالْأَمْرَl-amraIالthe+أَمْرَMatter 21He detailsيُفَصِّلُyufassiluF 22The signsالْآيَاتِl-ayatiIالthe+آيَاتِSigns 23So that you mayلَعَلَّكُمْla'allakumCBHACC+PRONATTلَعَلَّSo that you may+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 24In the meetingبِلِقَاءِbiliqa'iCBIP+Nبِwith / in+لِقَاءِThe meeting 25With your LordرَبِّكُمْrabbikumCBIN+PRONATTرَبِّWith your Lord+كُمْyou / your (pl.) 26Believe with certaintyتُوقِنُونَtuqinunaF وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى مَدَّ ٱلْأَرْضَ وَجَعَلَ فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَأَنْهَٰرًا ۖ وَمِن كُلِّ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ جَعَلَ فِيهَا زَوْجَيْنِ ٱثْنَيْنِ ۖ يُغْشِى ٱلَّيْلَ ٱلنَّهَارَ ۚ إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَءَايَٰتٍ لِّقَوْمٍ يَتَفَكَّرُونَ ﴿3﴾
And it is He who spread the earth and placed therein firmly set mountains and rivers; and from all of the fruits He made therein two mates; He causes the night to cover the day. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought.

And within the land are neighboring plots and gardens of grapevines and crops and palm trees, [growing] several from a root or otherwise, watered with one water; but We make some of them exceed others in [quality of] fruit. Indeed in that are signs for a people who reason.

← read from right to left2The earthالْأَرْضِl-ardiIالthe+أَرْضِEarth 3Are tracksقِطَعٌqita'unI 4NeighboringمُتَجَاوِرَاتٌmutajawiratunI 5And gardensوَجَنَّاتٌwajannatunCBICONJ+Nوَand+جَنَّاتٌGardens 7Grapevinesأَعْنَابٍa'nabinI 8And cropsوَزَرْعٌwazar'unCBICONJ+Nوَand+زَرْعٌCrops 9And date palmsوَنَخِيلٌwanakhilunCBICONJ+Nوَand+نَخِيلٌDate palms 10Trees growing from a single rootصِنْوَانٌsinwanunI 11And trees not growing from a single rootوَغَيْرُwaghayruCBICONJ+Nوَand+غَيْرُTrees not growing from a single root 12And trees not growing from a single rootصِنْوَانٍsinwaninI 14With one waterبِمَاءٍbima'inCBIP+Nبِwith / in+مَاءٍOne water 15With one waterوَاحِدٍwahidinI 16But we cause to exceedوَنُفَضِّلُwanufaddiluCBFCONJ+Vوَand+نُفَضِّلُBut we cause to exceed 17Some of themبَعْضَهَاba'dahaCBIN+PRONATTبَعْضَSome of+هَاher / it / its 21The fruitالْأُكُلِl-ukuliIالthe+أُكُلِFruit 25Surely are signsلَآيَاتٍla-ayatinCBILAM+Nلَfor / to+آيَاتٍSurely are signs 26For a peopleلِقَوْمٍliqawminCBIP+Nلِfor / to+قَوْمٍA people 27Who use reasonيَعْقِلُونَya'qilunaF وَإِن تَعْجَبْ فَعَجَبٌ قَوْلُهُمْ أَءِذَا كُنَّا تُرَٰبًا أَءِنَّا لَفِى خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ ۗ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلْأَغْلَٰلُ فِىٓ أَعْنَاقِهِمْ ۖ وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ ۖ هُمْ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ ﴿5﴾
And if you are astonished, [O Muhammad] - then astonishing is their saying, "When we are dust, will we indeed be [brought] into a new creation?" Those are the ones who have disbelieved in their Lord, and those will have shackles upon their necks, and those are the companions of the Fire; they will abide therein eternally.

← read from right to left2You are astonishedتَعْجَبْta'jabF 3Then astonishingفَعَجَبٌfa'ajabunCBICONJ+Nفَso / then+عَجَبٌAstonishing 4Is their sayingقَوْلُهُمْqawluhumCBIN+PRONATTقَوْلُIs their saying+هُمْthem / their 5Whenأَإِذَاa-idhaCBIINTG+Tأَis it? / did?+إِذَاWhen 9Be indeed inلَفِيlafiCBHLAM+Pلَfor / to+فِيBe indeed in 10A creationخَلْقٍkhalqinI 13Are the ones whoالَّذِينَalladhinaI 14DisbelievedكَفَرُواkafaruF 15In their LordبِرَبِّهِمْbirabbihimCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+رَبِّTheir Lord+هِمْthem / their 16And thoseوَأُولَئِكَwa-ula'ikaCBICONJ+DEMوَand+أُولَئِكَThose 17The iron chainsالْأَغْلَالُl-aghlaluIالthe+أَغْلَالُIron chains 19Their necksأَعْنَاقِهِمْa'naqihimCBIN+PRONATTأَعْنَاقِTheir necks+هِمْthem / their 20Thoseوَأُولَئِكَwa-ula'ikaCBICONJ+DEMوَand+أُولَئِكَThose 21Are the companionsأَصْحَابُashabuI 22Of the fireالنَّارِl-nariIالthe+نَارِOf the fire 25Will abide foreverخَالِدُونَkhalidunaI وَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَ بِٱلسَّيِّئَةِ قَبْلَ ٱلْحَسَنَةِ وَقَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِمُ ٱلْمَثُلَٰتُ ۗ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ لِّلنَّاسِ عَلَىٰ ظُلْمِهِمْ ۖ وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَشَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ ﴿6﴾
They impatiently urge you to bring about evil before good, while there has already occurred before them similar punishments [to what they demand]. And indeed, your Lord is full of forgiveness for the people despite their wrongdoing, and indeed, your Lord is severe in penalty.

← read from right to left1And they ask you to hastenوَيَسْتَعْجِلُونَكَwayasta'jilunakaCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTوَand+يَسْتَعْجِلُونَThey ask you to hasten+كَyou / your 2The evilبِالسَّيِّئَةِbil-sayi'atiCBIP+Nبِwith / in+الthe+سَيِّئَةِEvil 4The goodالْحَسَنَةِl-hasanatiIالthe+حَسَنَةِGood 6Has occurredخَلَتْkhalatF 8Before themقَبْلِهِمُqablihimuCBIN+PRONATTقَبْلِBefore+هِمُthem / their 9[the] similar punishmentsالْمَثُلَاتُl-mathulatuIالthe+مَثُلَاتُ[the] similar punishments 10And indeedوَإِنَّwa-innaCBHCONJ+ACCوَand+إِنَّIndeed 11Your LordرَبَّكَrabbakaCBIN+PRONATTرَبَّYour Lord+كَyou / your 12Is full of forgivenessلَذُوladhuCBILAM+Nلَfor / to+ذُوIs full of forgiveness 13Is full of forgivenessمَغْفِرَةٍmaghfiratinI 14For mankindلِلنَّاسِlilnnasiCBIP+Nلِلfor the+نَاسِMankind 16Their wrongdoingظُلْمِهِمْzulmihimCBIN+PRONATTظُلْمِTheir wrongdoing+هِمْthem / their 17And indeedوَإِنَّwa-innaCBHCONJ+ACCوَand+إِنَّIndeed 18Your LordرَبَّكَrabbakaCBIN+PRONATTرَبَّYour Lord+كَyou / your 19Is severeلَشَدِيدُlashadiduCBILAM+Nلَfor / to+شَدِيدُIs severe 20In the penaltyالْعِقَابِl-'iqabiIالthe+عِقَابِIn the penalty وَيَقُولُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوْلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَةٌ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦٓ ۗ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُنذِرٌ ۖ وَلِكُلِّ قَوْمٍ هَادٍ ﴿7﴾
And those who disbelieved say, "Why has a sign not been sent down to him from his Lord?" You are only a warner, and for every people is a guide.
