47:29

أَمْ حَسِبَ ٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ أَن لَّن يُخْرِجَ ٱللَّهُ أَضْغَٰنَهُمْ ﴿29﴾

Or do those in whose hearts is disease think that Allah would never expose their [feelings of] hatred?

Word by word

Or doأَمْH
ThinkحَسِبَF
Those whoالَّذِينَI
InفِيH
Their heartsقُلُوبِهِمْCBIN+PRONATTقُلُوبِTheir hearts+هِمْthem / their
Is a diseaseمَرَضٌI
ThatأَنْH
NeverلَنْH
Will Allah bring forthيُخْرِجَF
Will Allah bring forthاللَّهُI
Their hatredأَضْغَانَهُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَضْغَانَTheir hatred+هُمْthem / their
47:30

وَلَوْ نَشَآءُ لَأَرَيْنَٰكَهُمْ فَلَعَرَفْتَهُم بِسِيمَٰهُمْ ۚ وَلَتَعْرِفَنَّهُمْ فِى لَحْنِ ٱلْقَوْلِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ ﴿30﴾

And if We willed, We could show them to you, and you would know them by their mark; but you will surely know them by the tone of [their] speech. And Allah knows your deeds.

And ifوَلَوْCBHCONJ+CONDوَand+لَوْIf
We willedنَشَاءُF
Surely we could show them to youلَأَرَيْنَاكَهُمْCBFLAM+V+PRONATTلَfor / to+أَرَيْنَاSurely we could show them to you+كyou / your+َهُمْthem / their
And you would know themفَلَعَرَفْتَهُمْCBFCONJ+LAM+V+PRONATTفَso / then+لَfor / to+عَرَفْتَAnd you would know+هُمْthem / their
By their marksبِسِيمَاهُمْCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+سِيمَاTheir marks+هُمْthem / their
But surely you will know themوَلَتَعْرِفَنَّهُمْCBFCONJ+LAM+V+PRONATTوَand+لَfor / to+تَعْرِفَBut surely you will know them+نَّemphasis+هُمْthem / their
ByفِيH
The toneلَحْنِI
Of their speechالْقَوْلِIالthe+قَوْلِOf their speech
And AllahوَاللَّهُCBICONJ+PNوَand+اللَّهُAllah
KnowsيَعْلَمُF
Your deedsأَعْمَالَكُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَعْمَالَYour deeds+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
47:31

وَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْ حَتَّىٰ نَعْلَمَ ٱلْمُجَٰهِدِينَ مِنكُمْ وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ وَنَبْلُوَا۟ أَخْبَارَكُمْ ﴿31﴾

And We will surely test you until We make evident those who strive among you [for the cause of Allah] and the patient, and We will test your affairs.

Word by word

And surely we will test youوَلَنَبْلُوَنَّكُمْCBFCONJ+LAM+V+PRONATTوَand+لَfor / to+نَبْلُوَSurely we will test you+نَّemphasis+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
UntilحَتَّىH
We make evidentنَعْلَمَF
Those who striveالْمُجَاهِدِينَIالthe+مُجَاهِدِينَThose who strive
Among youمِنْكُمْCBHP+PRONATTمِنْAmong+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
And the patient onesوَالصَّابِرِينَCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+صَابِرِينَPatient ones
And we will testوَنَبْلُوَCBFCONJ+Vوَand+نَبْلُوَWe will test
Your affairsأَخْبَارَكُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَخْبَارَYour affairs+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
47:32

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ وَشَآقُّوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلْهُدَىٰ لَن يَضُرُّوا۟ ٱللَّهَ شَيْـًٔا وَسَيُحْبِطُ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ ﴿32﴾

Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and opposed the Messenger after guidance had become clear to them - never will they harm Allah at all, and He will render worthless their deeds.

IndeedإِنَّH
Those whoالَّذِينَI
DisbelieveكَفَرُواF
And turn awayوَصَدُّواCBFCONJ+Vوَand+صَدُّواTurn away
FromعَنْH
The way of AllahسَبِيلِI
The way of AllahاللَّهِI
And opposeوَشَاقُّواCBFCONJ+Vوَand+شَاقُّواOppose
The MessengerالرَّسُولَIالthe+رَسُولَMessenger
AfterمِنْH
AfterبَعْدِI
[what]مَاH
Has been made clearتَبَيَّنَF
To themلَهُمُCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+هُمُthem / their
The guidanceالْهُدَىIالthe+هُدَىGuidance
NeverلَنْH
Will they harmيَضُرُّواF
AllahاللَّهَI
In anythingشَيْئًاI
And he will make worthlessوَسَيُحْبِطُCBFCONJ+FUT+Vوَand+سَwill+يُحْبِطُHe will make worthless
Their deedsأَعْمَالَهُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَعْمَالَTheir deeds+هُمْthem / their
47:33

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَطِيعُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُوا۟ ٱلرَّسُولَ وَلَا تُبْطِلُوٓا۟ أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ ﴿33﴾

O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and do not invalidate your deeds.

Word by word

O you who believeيَاأَيُّهَاH
O you who believeالَّذِينَI
O you who believeآمَنُواF
ObeyأَطِيعُواF
AllahاللَّهَI
And obeyوَأَطِيعُواCBFCONJ+Vوَand+أَطِيعُواObey
The MessengerالرَّسُولَIالthe+رَسُولَMessenger
And do notوَلَاCBHCONJ+PROوَand+لَاDo not
Make vainتُبْطِلُواF
Your deedsأَعْمَالَكُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَعْمَالَYour deeds+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
47:34

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ثُمَّ مَاتُوا۟ وَهُمْ كُفَّارٌ فَلَن يَغْفِرَ ٱللَّهُ لَهُمْ ﴿34﴾

Indeed, those who disbelieved and averted [people] from the path of Allah and then died while they were disbelievers - never will Allah forgive them.

IndeedإِنَّH
Those whoالَّذِينَI

And turn awayوَصَدُّواCBFCONJ+Vوَand+صَدُّواTurn away
FromعَنْH
The wayسَبِيلِI
Of AllahاللَّهِI
ThenثُمَّH
DiedمَاتُواF
While theyوَهُمْCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+هُمْWhile they
Were disbelieversكُفَّارٌI
NeverفَلَنْCBHCONJ+NEGفَso / then+لَنْNever
Will Allah forgiveيَغْفِرَF
Will Allah forgiveاللَّهُI
ThemلَهُمْCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+هُمْthem / their
47:35

فَلَا تَهِنُوا۟ وَتَدْعُوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱلسَّلْمِ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلْأَعْلَوْنَ وَٱللَّهُ مَعَكُمْ وَلَن يَتِرَكُمْ أَعْمَٰلَكُمْ ﴿35﴾

So do not weaken and call for peace while you are superior; and Allah is with you and will never deprive you of [the reward of] your deeds.

So do notفَلَاCBHCONJ+PROفَso / then+لَاDo not
WeakenتَهِنُواF
And callوَتَدْعُواCBFCONJ+Vوَand+تَدْعُواCall
ForإِلَىH
PeaceالسَّلْمِIالthe+سَلْمِPeace
While youوَأَنْتُمُCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+أَنْتُمُWhile you
Are superiorالْأَعْلَوْنَIالthe+أَعْلَوْنَAre superior
And AllahوَاللَّهُCBICONJ+PNوَand+اللَّهُAllah
Is with youمَعَكُمْI
And neverوَلَنْCBHCONJ+NEGوَand+لَنْNever
Will deprive youيَتِرَكُمْCBFV+PRONATTيَتِرَWill deprive+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
Of your deedsأَعْمَالَكُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَعْمَالَOf your deeds+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
47:36

إِنَّمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا لَعِبٌ وَلَهْوٌ ۚ وَإِن تُؤْمِنُوا۟ وَتَتَّقُوا۟ يُؤْتِكُمْ أُجُورَكُمْ وَلَا يَسْـَٔلْكُمْ أَمْوَٰلَكُمْ ﴿36﴾

[This] worldly life is only amusement and diversion. And if you believe and fear Allah, He will give you your rewards and not ask you for your properties.

OnlyإِنَّمَاCBHإِنَّindeed=مَاonly
The lifeالْحَيَاةُIالthe+حَيَاةُLife
Of the worldالدُّنْيَاIالthe+دُنْيَاOf the world
Is playلَعِبٌI
And amusementوَلَهْوٌCBICONJ+Nوَand+لَهْوٌAmusement
And ifوَإِنْCBHCONJ+CONDوَand+إِنْIf
You believeتُؤْمِنُواF
And fear AllahوَتَتَّقُواCBFCONJ+Vوَand+تَتَّقُواFear Allah
He will give youيُؤْتِكُمْCBFV+PRONATTيُؤْتِHe will give+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
Your rewardsأُجُورَكُمْCBIN+PRONATTأُجُورَYour rewards+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
And notوَلَاCBHCONJ+NEGوَand+لَاNot
Will ask youيَسْأَلْكُمْCBFV+PRONATTيَسْأَلْWill ask+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
For your wealthأَمْوَالَكُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَمْوَالَFor your wealth+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
47:37

إِن يَسْـَٔلْكُمُوهَا فَيُحْفِكُمْ تَبْخَلُوا۟ وَيُخْرِجْ أَضْغَٰنَكُمْ ﴿37﴾

If He should ask you for them and press you, you would withhold, and He would expose your unwillingness.

IfإِنْH
He were to ask you for itيَسْأَلْكُمُوهَاCBFV+PRONATTيَسْأَلْكُمُوHe were to ask you for+هَاher / it / its
And press youفَيُحْفِكُمْCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+يُحْفِAnd press+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
You will withholdتَبْخَلُواF
And he will bring forthوَيُخْرِجْCBFCONJ+Vوَand+يُخْرِجْHe will bring forth
Your hatredأَضْغَانَكُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَضْغَانَYour hatred+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
47:38

هَٰٓأَنتُمْ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ تُدْعَوْنَ لِتُنفِقُوا۟ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَمِنكُم مَّن يَبْخَلُ ۖ وَمَن يَبْخَلْ فَإِنَّمَا يَبْخَلُ عَن نَّفْسِهِۦ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ ٱلْغَنِىُّ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلْفُقَرَآءُ ۚ وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوْا۟ يَسْتَبْدِلْ قَوْمًا غَيْرَكُمْ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُوٓا۟ أَمْثَٰلَكُم ﴿38﴾

Here you are - those invited to spend in the cause of Allah - but among you are those who withhold [out of greed]. And whoever withholds only withholds [benefit] from himself; and Allah is the Free of need, while you are the needy. And if you turn away, He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you.

Here you areهَاأَنْتُمْCBIATT+PRONSUBJهَـٰhere / behold+أَنْتُمْHere you are
TheseهَؤُلَاءِI
CalledتُدْعَوْنَF
To spendلِتُنْفِقُواCBFP+Vلِfor / to+تُنْفِقُواSpend
InفِيH
The wayسَبِيلِI
Of AllahاللَّهِI
But among youفَمِنْكُمْCBHCONJ+P+PRONATTفَso / then+مِنْكُمْBut among you
Are some whoمَنْI
WithholdيَبْخَلُF
And whoeverوَمَنْCBICONJ+CONDوَand+مَنْWhoever
WithholdsيَبْخَلْF
Then onlyفَإِنَّمَاCBHCONJ+ACCفَso / then+إِنَّindeed=مَاonly
He withholdsيَبْخَلُF
FromعَنْH
HimselfنَفْسِهِCBIN+PRONATTنَفْسِHimself+هِhim / his / it
But AllahوَاللَّهُCBICONJ+PNوَand+اللَّهُBut Allah
Is free of needالْغَنِيُّIالthe+غَنِيُّIs free of need
While youوَأَنْتُمُCBICONJ+PRONSUBJوَand+أَنْتُمُWhile you
Are the needyالْفُقَرَاءُIالthe+فُقَرَاءُAre the needy
And ifوَإِنْCBHCONJ+CONDوَand+إِنْIf
You turn awayتَتَوَلَّوْاF
HeيَسْتَبْدِلْF
With a peopleقَوْمًاI
Other than youغَيْرَكُمْCBIN+PRONATTغَيْرَOther than+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
ThenثُمَّH
NotلَاH
They will beيَكُونُواF
The likes of youأَمْثَالَكُمْCBIN+PRONATTأَمْثَالَThe likes of+كُمْyou / your (pl.)
