وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا بَٰطِلًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ظَنُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۚ فَوَيْلٌ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ ﴿27﴾

And We did not create the heaven and the earth and that between them aimlessly. That is the assumption of those who disbelieve, so woe to those who disbelieve from the Fire.

We createdخَلَقْنَاF
The heavenالسَّمَاءَIالthe+سَمَاءَHeaven
And the earthوَالْأَرْضَCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+أَرْضَEarth
And whateverوَمَاCBICONJ+RELوَand+مَاWhatever
Is between themبَيْنَهُمَاCBILOC+PRONATTبَيْنَIs between+هُمَاthem two
Without purposeبَاطِلًاI
ThatذَلِكَI
Is the assumptionظَنُّI
Of those whoالَّذِينَI
DisbelieveكَفَرُواF
So woeفَوَيْلٌCBICONJ+Nفَso / then+وَيْلٌWoe
To thoseلِلَّذِينَCBIP+RELلِfor / to+الَّذِينَThose
Who disbelieveكَفَرُواF
FromمِنَH
The fireالنَّارِIالthe+نَارِFire

أَمْ نَجْعَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ كَٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ نَجْعَلُ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ كَٱلْفُجَّارِ ﴿28﴾

Or should we treat those who believe and do righteous deeds like corrupters in the land? Or should We treat those who fear Allah like the wicked?

Like those who spread corruptionكَالْمُفْسِدِينَCBIP+Nكَlike+الthe+مُفْسِدِينَThose who spread corruption
InفِيH
The earthالْأَرْضِIالthe+أَرْضِEarth
OrأَمْH
Should we treatنَجْعَلُF
The piousالْمُتَّقِينَIالthe+مُتَّقِينَPious
Like the wickedكَالْفُجَّارِCBIP+Nكَlike+الthe+فُجَّارِWicked

كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَٰرَكٌ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوٓا۟ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ ﴿29﴾

[This is] a blessed Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], that they might reflect upon its verses and that those of understanding would be reminded.

This is a BookكِتَابٌI
We have revealed itأَنْزَلْنَاهُCBFV+PRONATTأَنْزَلْنَاWe have revealed+هُhim / his / it
To youإِلَيْكَCBHP+PRONATTإِلَىTo+كَyou / your
BlessedمُبَارَكٌI
That they may ponderلِيَدَّبَّرُواCBFP+Vلِfor / to+يَدَّبَّرُواThat they may ponder
Over its versesآيَاتِهِCBIN+PRONATTآيَاتِOver its verses+هِhim / his / it
And may be remindedوَلِيَتَذَكَّرَCBFCONJ+P+Vوَand+لِfor / to+يَتَذَكَّرَMay be reminded
Those of understandingأُولُوI
Those of understandingالْأَلْبَابِIالthe+أَلْبَابِThose of understanding

وَوَهَبْنَا لِدَاوُۥدَ سُلَيْمَٰنَ ۚ نِعْمَ ٱلْعَبْدُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ ﴿30﴾

And to David We gave Solomon. An excellent servant, indeed he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah].

To dawoodلِدَاوُودَCBIP+PNلِfor / to+دَاوُدَDawood
SolomonسُلَيْمَانَI
An excellentنِعْمَF
SlaveالْعَبْدُIالthe+عَبْدُSlave
Indeed heإِنَّهُCBHACC+PRONATTإِنَّIndeed he+هُhim / his / it
Was one who repeatedly turnedأَوَّابٌI

إِذْ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ ٱلصَّٰفِنَٰتُ ٱلْجِيَادُ ﴿31﴾

[Mention] when there were exhibited before him in the afternoon the poised [standing] racehorses.

Excellent bred steedsالْجِيَادُIالthe+جِيَادُExcellent bred steeds

فَقَالَ إِنِّىٓ أَحْبَبْتُ حُبَّ ٱلْخَيْرِ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّى حَتَّىٰ تَوَارَتْ بِٱلْحِجَابِ ﴿32﴾

And he said, "Indeed, I gave preference to the love of good [things] over the remembrance of my Lord until the sun disappeared into the curtain [of darkness]."

Indeed iإِنِّيCBHACC+PRONATTإِIndeed i+نيme
[i] preferredأَحْبَبْتُF
The loveحُبَّI
Of the goodالْخَيْرِIالthe+خَيْرِOf the good
OverعَنْH
The remembranceذِكْرِI
Of my LordرَبِّيCBIN+PRONATTرَبِّOf my Lord+يme / my
UntilحَتَّىH
They were hiddenتَوَارَتْF
In the veilبِالْحِجَابِCBIP+Nبِwith / in+الthe+حِجَابِVeil

رُدُّوهَا عَلَىَّ ۖ فَطَفِقَ مَسْحًۢا بِٱلسُّوقِ وَٱلْأَعْنَاقِ ﴿33﴾

[He said], "Return them to me," and set about striking [their] legs and necks.

Over the legsبِالسُّوقِCBIP+Nبِwith / in+الthe+سُوقِOver the legs
And the necksوَالْأَعْنَاقِCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+أَعْنَاقِNecks

وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا سُلَيْمَٰنَ وَأَلْقَيْنَا عَلَىٰ كُرْسِيِّهِۦ جَسَدًا ثُمَّ أَنَابَ ﴿34﴾

And We certainly tried Solomon and placed on his throne a body; then he returned.

We triedفَتَنَّاF
SolomonسُلَيْمَانَI
And we placedوَأَلْقَيْنَاCBFCONJ+Vوَand+أَلْقَيْنَاWe placed
OnعَلَىH
His throneكُرْسِيِّهِCBIN+PRONATTكُرْسِيِّHis throne+هِhim / his / it
A bodyجَسَدًاI
ThenثُمَّH
He turnedأَنَابَF

قَالَ رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَهَبْ لِى مُلْكًا لَّا يَنۢبَغِى لِأَحَدٍ مِّنۢ بَعْدِىٓ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْوَهَّابُ ﴿35﴾

He said, "My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower."

After meبَعْدِيCBIN+PRONATTبَعْدِAfter+يme / my
Indeed youإِنَّكَCBHACC+PRONATTإِنَّIndeed+كَyou / your
[you]أَنْتَI
Are the bestowerالْوَهَّابُIالthe+وَهَّابُAre the bestower

فَسَخَّرْنَا لَهُ ٱلرِّيحَ تَجْرِى بِأَمْرِهِۦ رُخَآءً حَيْثُ أَصَابَ ﴿36﴾

So We subjected to him the wind blowing by his command, gently, wherever he directed,

The windالرِّيحَIالthe+رِيحَWind

By his commandبِأَمْرِهِCBIP+N+PRONATTبِwith / in+أَمْرِHis command+هِhim / his / it
GentlyرُخَاءًI
WhereverحَيْثُI
He directedأَصَابَF

وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ كُلَّ بَنَّآءٍ وَغَوَّاصٍ ﴿37﴾

And [also] the devils [of jinn] - every builder and diver

And the devilsوَالشَّيَاطِينَCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+شَيَاطِينَDevils
EveryكُلَّI
BuilderبَنَّاءٍI
And diverوَغَوَّاصٍCBICONJ+Nوَand+غَوَّاصٍDiver

وَءَاخَرِينَ مُقَرَّنِينَ فِى ٱلْأَصْفَادِ ﴿38﴾

And others bound together in shackles.

ChainsالْأَصْفَادِIالthe+أَصْفَادِChains

هَٰذَا عَطَآؤُنَا فَٱمْنُنْ أَوْ أَمْسِكْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ ﴿39﴾

[We said], "This is Our gift, so grant or withhold without account."

وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلْفَىٰ وَحُسْنَ مَـَٔابٍ ﴿40﴾

And indeed, for him is nearness to Us and a good place of return.
