وَٱلنَّٰزِعَٰتِ غَرْقًا ﴿1﴾

By those [angels] who extract with violence

Word by word

By those who extractوَالنَّازِعَاتِCBIP+Nوَand+الthe+نَازِعَاتِBy those who extract
ViolentlyغَرْقًاI

وَٱلنَّٰشِطَٰتِ نَشْطًا ﴿2﴾

And [by] those who remove with ease

Word by word

And those who draw outوَالنَّاشِطَاتِCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+نَاشِطَاتِThose who draw out
GentlyنَشْطًاI

وَٱلسَّٰبِحَٰتِ سَبْحًا ﴿3﴾

And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming

And those who glideوَالسَّابِحَاتِCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+سَابِحَاتِThose who glide
SwimmingسَبْحًاI

فَٱلسَّٰبِقَٰتِ سَبْقًا ﴿4﴾

And those who race each other in a race

And those who race eachفَالسَّابِقَاتِCBICONJ+Nفَso / then+الthe+سَابِقَاتِAnd those who race each
In a raceسَبْقًاI

فَٱلْمُدَبِّرَٰتِ أَمْرًا ﴿5﴾

And those who arrange [each] matter,

And those who arrangeفَالْمُدَبِّرَاتِCBICONJ+Nفَso / then+الthe+مُدَبِّرَاتِAnd those who arrange
The matterأَمْرًاI

يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ ٱلرَّاجِفَةُ ﴿6﴾

On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation],

The dayيَوْمَI
Will quakeتَرْجُفُF
The quaking oneالرَّاجِفَةُIالthe+رَاجِفَةُQuaking one

تَتْبَعُهَا ٱلرَّادِفَةُ ﴿7﴾

There will follow it the subsequent [one].

The subsequentالرَّادِفَةُIالthe+رَادِفَةُSubsequent

قُلُوبٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَاجِفَةٌ ﴿8﴾

Hearts, that Day, will tremble,

HeartsقُلُوبٌI
That dayيَوْمَئِذٍIيَوْمday=إِذْthat
Will palpitateوَاجِفَةٌI

أَبْصَٰرُهَا خَٰشِعَةٌ ﴿9﴾

Their eyes humbled.

Their eyesأَبْصَارُهَاCBIN+PRONATTأَبْصَارُTheir eyes+هَاher / it / its
HumbledخَاشِعَةٌI

يَقُولُونَ أَءِنَّا لَمَرْدُودُونَ فِى ٱلْحَافِرَةِ ﴿10﴾

They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]?

Indeed be returnedلَمَرْدُودُونَCBILAM+Nلَfor / to+مَرْدُودُونَIndeed be returned
ToفِيH
The former stateالْحَافِرَةِIالthe+حَافِرَةِFormer state

أَءِذَا كُنَّا عِظَٰمًا نَّخِرَةً ﴿11﴾

Even if we should be decayed bones?

What whenأَإِذَاCBIINTG+Tأَis it? / did?+إِذَاWhat when
We areكُنَّاF
BonesعِظَامًاI
DecayedنَخِرَةًI

قَالُوا۟ تِلْكَ إِذًا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٌ ﴿12﴾

They say, "That, then, would be a losing return."

They sayقَالُواF
ThisتِلْكَI
ThenإِذًاH
Would be a returnكَرَّةٌI
LosingخَاسِرَةٌI

فَإِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجْرَةٌ وَٰحِدَةٌ ﴿13﴾

Indeed, it will be but one shout,

Then onlyفَإِنَّمَاCBHCONJ+ACCفَso / then+إِنَّindeed=مَاonly
ItهِيَI
Will be a shoutزَجْرَةٌI
SingleوَاحِدَةٌI

فَإِذَا هُم بِٱلسَّاهِرَةِ ﴿14﴾

And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface.

And beholdفَإِذَاCBHCONJ+SURفَso / then+إِذَاAnd behold
TheyهُمْI
Will be awakenedبِالسَّاهِرَةِCBIP+Nبِwith / in+الthe+سَاهِرَةِWill be awakened

هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ ﴿15﴾

Has there reached you the story of Moses? -

There come to youأَتَاكَCBFV+PRONATTأَتَاThere come to+كَyou / your
The storyحَدِيثُI
Of mosesمُوسَىI

إِذْ نَادَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ بِٱلْوَادِ ٱلْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى ﴿16﴾

When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa,

His LordرَبُّهُCBIN+PRONATTرَبُّHis Lord+هُhim / his / it

The sacredالْمُقَدَّسِIالthe+مُقَدَّسِSacred
OfطُوًىI

ٱذْهَبْ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ ﴿17﴾

"Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed.

Indeed heإِنَّهُCBHACC+PRONATTإِنَّIndeed he+هُhim / his / it
Has transgressedطَغَىF

فَقُلْ هَل لَّكَ إِلَىٰٓ أَن تَزَكَّىٰ ﴿18﴾

And say to him, 'Would you [be willing to] purify yourself

And sayفَقُلْCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+قُلْAnd say
WouldهَلْH
[for] youلَكَCBHP+PRONATTلَfor / to+كَyou / your
[to]إِلَىH
[that]أَنْH
Purify yourselfتَزَكَّىF

وَأَهْدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخْشَىٰ ﴿19﴾

And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]?'"

And i will guide youوَأَهْدِيَكَCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTوَand+أَهْدِيَI will guide+كَyou / your
ToإِلَىH
Your LordرَبِّكَCBIN+PRONATTرَبِّYour Lord+كَyou / your
So you would fearفَتَخْشَىCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+تَخْشَىYou would fear

فَأَرَىٰهُ ٱلْءَايَةَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ ﴿20﴾

And he showed him the greatest sign,

Then he showed himفَأَرَاهُCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+أَرَاHe showed+هُhim / his / it
The signالْآيَةَIالthe+آيَةَSign
The greatالْكُبْرَىIالthe+كُبْرَىGreat

فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصَىٰ ﴿21﴾

But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed.

But he deniedفَكَذَّبَCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+كَذَّبَBut he denied
And disobeyedوَعَصَىCBFCONJ+Vوَand+عَصَىDisobeyed

ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ يَسْعَىٰ ﴿22﴾

Then he turned his back, striving.

He turned his backأَدْبَرَF
StrivingيَسْعَىF

فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ ﴿23﴾

And he gathered [his people] and called out

And he gatheredفَحَشَرَCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+حَشَرَAnd he gathered
And called outفَنَادَىCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+نَادَىAnd called out

فَقَالَ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمُ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ ﴿24﴾

And said, "I am your most exalted lord."

Then he saidفَقَالَCBFCONJ+Vفَso / then+قَالَHe said
I amأَنَاI
Your LordرَبُّكُمُCBIN+PRONATTرَبُّYour Lord+كُمُyou / your (pl.)
The most highالْأَعْلَىIالthe+أَعْلَىMost high

فَأَخَذَهُ ٱللَّهُ نَكَالَ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ وَٱلْأُولَىٰٓ ﴿25﴾

So Allah seized him in exemplary punishment for the last and the first [transgression].

AllahاللَّهُI
With an exemplary punishmentنَكَالَI
For the lastالْآخِرَةِIالthe+آخِرَةِFor the last
And the firstوَالْأُولَىCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+أُولَىFirst

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةً لِّمَن يَخْشَىٰٓ ﴿26﴾

Indeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear [Allah].
