وَٱلْمُرْسَلَٰتِ عُرْفًا ﴿1﴾
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts

By the ones sent forthوَالْمُرْسَلَاتِCBIP+Nوَand+الthe+مُرْسَلَاتِBy the ones sent forth One after anotherعُرْفًاI فَٱلْعَٰصِفَٰتِ عَصْفًا ﴿2﴾
And the winds that blow violently

And the winds that blowفَالْعَاصِفَاتِCBICONJ+Nفَso / then+الthe+عَاصِفَاتِAnd the winds that blow وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًا ﴿3﴾
And [by] the winds that spread [clouds]

And the ones that scatterوَالنَّاشِرَاتِCBICONJ+Nوَand+الthe+نَاشِرَاتِOnes that scatter فَٱلْفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرْقًا ﴿4﴾
And those [angels] who bring criterion

And those whoفَالْفَارِقَاتِCBICONJ+Nفَso / then+الthe+فَارِقَاتِAnd those who فَٱلْمُلْقِيَٰتِ ذِكْرًا ﴿5﴾
And those [angels] who deliver a message

And those who bringفَالْمُلْقِيَاتِCBICONJ+Nفَso / then+الthe+مُلْقِيَاتِAnd those who bring عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا ﴿6﴾
As justification or warning,
إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌ ﴿7﴾
Indeed, what you are promised is to occur.

Indeed whatإِنَّمَاCBHإِنَّindeed=مَاonly You are promisedتُوعَدُونَF Will surely occurلَوَاقِعٌCBILAM+Nلَfor / to+وَاقِعٌWill surely occur فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ ﴿8﴾
So when the stars are obliterated

And when the heaven is opened

The heavenالسَّمَاءُIالthe+سَمَاءُHeaven Is cleft asunderفُرِجَتْF وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ ﴿10﴾
And when the mountains are blown away

The mountainsالْجِبَالُIالthe+جِبَالُMountains وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ ﴿11﴾
And when the messengers' time has come...

The MessengersالرُّسُلُIالthe+رُسُلُMessengers Are gathered to their appointed timeأُقِّتَتْF لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ ﴿12﴾
For what Day was it postponed?

For whatلِأَيِّCBIP+Nلِfor / to+أَيِّWhat Are these postponedأُجِّلَتْF لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ ﴿13﴾
For the Day of Judgement.

And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement?

Did We not destroy the former peoples?

The former peopleالْأَوَّلِينَIالthe+أَوَّلِينَFormer people ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ ﴿17﴾
Then We will follow them with the later ones.

We follow them upنُتْبِعُهُمُCBFV+PRONATTنُتْبِعُWe follow them up+هُمُthem / their With the later onesالْآخِرِينَIالthe+آخِرِينَWith the later ones كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ ﴿18﴾
Thus do We deal with the criminals.

ThusكَذَلِكَCBIP+DEMكَlike+ذَلِكَThus With the criminalsبِالْمُجْرِمِينَCBIP+Nبِwith / in+الthe+مُجْرِمِينَCriminals وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿19﴾
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

Did We not create you from a liquid disdained?

We create youنَخْلُقْكُمْCBFV+PRONATTنَخْلُقْWe create+كُمْyou / your (pl.) فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ ﴿21﴾
And We placed it in a firm lodging

Then we placed itفَجَعَلْنَاهُCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTفَso / then+جَعَلْنَاWe placed+هُhim / his / it إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ ﴿22﴾
For a known extent.
فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَٰدِرُونَ ﴿23﴾
And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine.

Have notأَلَمْCBHINTG+NEGأَis it? / did?+لَمْHave not The earthالْأَرْضَIالthe+أَرْضَEarth أَحْيَآءً وَأَمْوَٰتًا ﴿26﴾
Of the living and the dead?

And the deadوَأَمْوَاتًاCBICONJ+Nوَand+أَمْوَاتًاThe dead وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَٰمِخَٰتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُم مَّآءً فُرَاتًا ﴿27﴾
And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water.

And we madeوَجَعَلْنَاCBFCONJ+Vوَand+جَعَلْنَاWe made Firmly set mountainsرَوَاسِيَI And we gave you to drinkوَأَسْقَيْنَاكُمْCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTوَand+أَسْقَيْنَاWe gave you to drink+كُمْyou / your (pl.) وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ﴿28﴾
Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny.
ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّ ذِى ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٍ ﴿30﴾
Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns
لَّا ظَلِيلٍ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ ﴿31﴾
[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame."

The flameاللَّهَبِIالthe+لَهَبِFlame إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍ كَٱلْقَصْرِ ﴿32﴾
Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress,

As if they were yellowish [black] camels.

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

They will speakيَنْطِقُونَF وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ ﴿36﴾
Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse.

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.
