سَبِّحِ ٱسْمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلْأَعْلَى ﴿1﴾
Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High,

And [then] makes it black stubble.

We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget,

← read from right to left1We will make you reciteسَنُقْرِئُكَsanuqri'ukaCBFFUT+V+PRONATTسَwill+نُقْرِئُWe will make you recite+كَyou / your 3You will forgetتَنْسَىtansaF إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ وَمَا يَخْفَىٰ ﴿7﴾
Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden.

And We will ease you toward ease.

So remind, if the reminder should benefit;

He who fears [Allah] will be reminded.

But the wretched one will avoid it -

← read from right to left1And will avoid itوَيَتَجَنَّبُهَاwayatajannabuhaCBFCONJ+V+PRONATTوَand+يَتَجَنَّبُWill avoid+هَاher / it / its 2The wretched oneالْأَشْقَىl-ashqaIالthe+أَشْقَىWretched one ٱلَّذِى يَصْلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ ﴿12﴾
[He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire,

Neither dying therein nor living.

But you prefer the worldly life,

While the Hereafter is better and more enduring.
