0:00 Asalaamu alaikum, a very short video just to go through some of the points of what we're going to be looking at in this playlist and what lessons you will be expecting. Inshallah Allah grant Tawfiq to do the lessons in the way that I've intended to deliver them. First and foremost, what we're going to be looking at is you're going to find on YouTube at this channel, the language of Quran, Inshallah, all the lessons in an order in the playlist.

0:26 So the playlist will be in the description and Inshallah, you'll be able to follow them. Previously, I've had lots of messages from people who weren't able to find the lessons in order. And if you go randomly in YouTube, you won't.

0:36 So you have to follow the lessons in the order that is in the playlist. That way, Inshallah, you will not get lost because all the lessons that I'm going to do, as I've done with book one, all the lessons will be in a structured order. And it's very, very important that you follow that order, Inshallah, because it's not always possible to repeat every rule.

0:55 Again, and again, and again, even though I do a lot of repetition, but it's not possible. So try to follow the channel, YouTube. All the videos are free, Inshallah, you can use them to your heart content, watch them as and when you are available. So in YouTube, in this channel, where you are, you will find the lessons that are listed. Inshallah, very soon, Allah grant Tawfiq and ability and time. I'm going to have also a website for each lesson.

1:20 There will be some summarised notes for each lesson notes and some of the images and slides that you've been asking for. I'll put them there because a lot of you have suggested putting them in the description with the link to G drive and so on where you can download it. That doesn't work because if they get deleted and you can't get them in the future.

1:38 So Inshallah, I'm looking to set up a website where you can get that information freely as and when you need them, if you need them along with the videos. And if possible, I'll also put on there some exercises that you can do. So I'll try to work on that as I go and please be patient.

1:55 Please be patient with it because it's going to take me a good few months to get this up and running as well as, of course, checking that the information is correct and so on. So it's a lot of expense and time needed to do that. But Inshallah, I'll also give you a free resource for each lesson.

2:09 And I'll do the same for book one very soon. Please look at the description as soon as the link is ready. I'll put it in the description of the video that you're looking at. So you don't have to search for it. You just simply go there and you'll get that, Inshallah. The third thing that I'm working on in order to give you access to the lesson is that you will have the book which so many people have emailed me and asked me.

2:33 And I do apologise. It takes a long, long time to get each lesson designed and checked and rechecked. And a lot of graphics work involved in the book as well. So it's taken a lot of time. I'm also reliant upon other people to do the work. And sometimes they are very, very slow in returning the work.

2:50 So the book will take a few more months. I don't know how long, but again, I will update you in the description where the book is available from and so on and how to get access to it. So again, you can message on the thing, but it's better if you just check the description.

3:06 The day that it becomes available, I will instantly put it on the description. So it's easier for me to copy and paste in the description than it is to constantly update, Inshallah. So you'll find the YouTube channel, of course, easy to find. A website, the link will be. So the page specific to the lesson will be on the description. The book, the day it's published, will be in the description.

3:27 How you can get the ebook or whatever that you need, printed book as well, Inshallah. And I'm also looking at getting it printed in other countries as well. So because the shipping from UK is very, very expensive and printing in the UK is also very, very expensive.

3:42 So that's the next project, all linked to book one and book two. But Inshallah, this is how you're going to get the information. Now, I also had a large number of people asking me to teach through online Zoom type class and others.

3:57 I'm reluctant to do it at the moment because of the lack of time and the resources that I have to deliver this project and do justice to it. But more importantly, there's no point just doing Zoom lessons unless you are learning. So I'm looking at an online system, Inshallah.

4:12 Again, as soon as that's ready, it will be in the description. And then you can choose if you want to join our online learning system, Inshallah. And then in the future, Allah grant Tawfiq, I will do Zoom lessons.

4:25 But I don't want to do it without giving you tests, quizzes, resources like a learning hub where you can learn the course very, very well. Because there's no point doing videos, lots of people coming unless the people themselves, the students are benefiting. I personally prefer teaching life in a classroom environment. And that's working very well in my local masjid. Alhamdulillah, a lot of brothers and sisters are benefiting by following the classes and they're now translating Quran. So they're really enjoying themselves in having to achieve something.

4:53 So I want to get something really good before I launch it. So again, I apologise. A lot of you've asked if they can join. But at the moment, I'm not teaching on Zoom. I know it is great and it does work. But for grammar, there needs to be a bit more exercises, tests and quizzes to ensure that the ideas have been very well learned. So again, be patient. I am working on it. As soon as that's ready, that will also be launched.

5:14 Again, the link will be in the description. Inshallah, if you wish to support our work in any way, the option is there. You can go to that site, Inshallah, and support us. That is your choice. There is no, you know, you must or not. It's entirely up to your choice. If you can help us, the more resources I have, the more quicker I can get more courses on YouTube. But again, it's your choice. May Allah bless you if you can.

5:40 That'll be great if you can support me in buying the equipment and other things that are necessary to be able to produce these videos. So what we're going to be covering in Book 2. Book 2, we're going to introduce the Arabic root system. How does the root system work? Amazing system.

5:55 In the first video, I'll explain how many types and categories of words that come from the root. How they come, we'll go through the entire course we'll develop. So it's not going to be a chapter like this. It's going to be embedded within the whole course. Because I've done courses myself where I'm learning one thing only. And then as soon as the course is over, I've forgotten most of it.

6:13 So most important thing with anything that you learn, you constantly apply that knowledge. Like learning to drive. Once you learn to drive, as long as you're driving regularly, Inshallah, you can remember how to drive for the rest of your life. And the same way when you're learning how to learn how the root system works, as long as there's constant revision, this will help. So you learn the Arabic root system. You will learn how to derive verbs as well as nouns from the root system.

6:36 How does it work? What are the derivation? What are the scales? And how quickly you can recognise words to know whether it is an ism or a fa'al very easily or which category of ism or fa'al it is. And then we're going to look at form one. And detailed study. Form one is Arabic verbs or root goes through certain doors. They're called abwab literally in Arabic, which means doors. Of course, they mean chapter or pattern or a template.

7:00 In English, you can translate, but literally means doors. They go through one of the doors. And the form one is called the mujarrad, meaning the base form. So we're going to study this in detail. Why? Because everything that you learn from here is equally applicable to every other form. But form one is the most common and a little bit more detailed than the others.

7:18 So if you study that one well, everything else just can be a quick lesson to say, oh, here are the slight differences. Everything else is the same. So we're going to do a detailed study of form one.

7:26 Then we're going to study something called weak and irregular verbs, as well as, of course, the standard verbs. And again, in the first introductory video, I'll explain what I mean by that. Weak verbs are very, very important because significant number of form one verbs, as well as the other forms, are actually weak letters.

7:44 And by weak letters, we mean where the root has waw or ya. Waw or ya. And, of course, irregular can also mean if it's got a hamza or if it has a doubling of the root. And sometimes you can have two weak letters. So there's a combination of changes that occur and we will study them. Again, I repeat, the only thing you're going to get from me is what is essential for you to begin to appreciate Quran.

8:04 There is no point doing a degree in each one of these topics and not having the overall picture and not benefiting for Quranic understanding. Of course, if you're in a full-time institution, usually sarf is taught in a very structured way, very detailed way, which is necessary for the whole language. But our aim and goal is to begin to understand the Quran.

8:23 So we don't need and nor do we have the time or the resources to devote to full-time study. Those who are blessed to do so will, of course, study them in a different way. So my aim and goal is to provide you the resources that you need while having your full-time work, family commitments, business, whatever you do in your daily life, and spending two, three hours a week, maybe five, Allah bless you, to study Arabic, to learn Quran.

8:47 So that's my aim. That's why I'm not going to bombard you with anything that I feel is not necessary at this stage of learning. Then we're going to have Form 2 to Form 10, which a lot of you have been asking me for videos, but I don't want to teach those without teaching the first bit, otherwise you'll get confused.

9:03 Then we will look at the grammar rules, Nahu, grammar rules, that are essential, essential to understand, in particular, Jumla Fi'aliya, which is a verbal sentence. And then we're going to look at core Quranic Arabic vocabulary, meaning words that are used in the Quran. Now there are about 1850 roots, I believe, which have been used in the Quran.

9:25 Top 50 of them, 100 of them, will give you overwhelming majority. So we're going to learn them relatively well. So when we go to the Quran, at least the common words will become familiar to us, similar to what we did with Book 1 as well.

9:38 So when you combine Book 1 and Book 2 together, InshaAllah, I'm quite hopeful, I don't want to say confident, but quite hopeful, that if you actually follow the steps, you will be able to get to a stage where you can start understanding significant parts of ayat, and even in consulting the Arabic dictionary to look at additional meanings, etc. And of course, getting a deeper understanding of Quran. So this is the aim, this is the goal, InshaAllah.

10:06 Of course, this is not all the lesson I'm going to contain. There will be lots of others. The lessons here will be a little bit, in terms of number, more than we have in Book 1, because we will be dividing each section up, and I'm going to hope that InshaAllah, I can teach it very well to you, so that you will have a solid foundation.

10:25 So this is the plan, this is what we are leading to. So InshaAllah, you will find the lessons in this playlist, which is mentioned in the description, and you just follow them in the order, and I will try to produce them as quickly as possible, to make sure that the Book 2 is complete. There are other courses, InshaAllah, coming soon, bi-idhnillah, and all of them are designed to help you and I get closer and closer to the understanding of Arabic, of course, to understand Quran.

10:52 May Allah bless all of you for your encouragement, for your du'as, and for your support. I beg your apology for the year and a half wasted in getting things ready and just didn't happen. A lot of it is to my fault, so I apologise to all of you, because there's been literally thousands of you asking me for Book 2, Book 2, and the details. Please be patient with the book. Actually, the physical book, the e-book. Please be patient with the courses.

11:16 They will take time. Unless I'm confident in my heart that this is good quality, I will not release it. So the other things, InshaAllah, the website and the YouTube videos, you will have them relatively quickly, InshaAllah, almost on a weekly basis. I ask Allah Azza wa Jal to give me the strength and the ability and give you the patience and the initiative required to complete the course. Jazakumullah Khayran for again, once again, and until the videos, Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
